It's good for all of us except you.
YES - we do have a CUSIP change that will take place tomorrow. Our new symbol will be EFGO -

Here's the Yahoo article on it:

CHNW - rumor on the cash now board is that the CUSIP is taking place tomorrow - we've been around this mountain before, and I didn't have time to properly research it, but it does seem like the real deal. Let me know if you hear anything similar and I'll try to get more information. thanks guys...
PDGT is making a nice run...
Interesting post from EVSA:

It's good to have you aboard - I think we should see some real CHNW action today and next week.
For those wondering, Frankster is none other, than the Granddaddy Mac Coop Dogg - the Daddy of the DaddyCoopDogg (Whether he claims us or not...)!
btw, no headline from CHNW this morning, which is strangly unusual, since we've seen one for 2+ weeks straight. I say that tongue-and-cheek, it's funny how we've had so much news lately that it's weird when there isn't any. maybe the Name change will be announced today - wouldn't that be cool! I'm just ready to have that stupid name change over with -
seems to be profit taking going on now - that's expected...I will post when there is new news...til then.
Well - EVSA stay @ .0012, CHNW climbed back up 2 points - a very good sign - this activity should continue. I noticed today several stocks dipping near all time lows, such as EVSA, RGNO, etc. If I had more cash, I would have scooped them up. Heck, .0009, up to .0012 on EVSA would have been a nice return...but anyway...
All in all - a much better day than yesterday...
just waiting on a MM to pick it up and be pulled off of the grey's...so how many boards have you been banned from now?
I don't have time to go into all the detail - you should read some of our old posts and find out why...but it has to do with Short Sellers have to cover their shorts, which means they have to purchase stock. In PK, MM's tend to short stock like crazy even to the point of shorting more shares of stock than they have made arrangements to purchase in the future, which requires them to go into the open market and purchase @ whatever price the market will bear. In addition, if multiple MM's have done a lot of "naked" short selling (which is what I just described is called) then there is a huge demand and it really drives the price up. A lot of MM's don't want to have to do that, because they will loose a lot of money, which is why many think this name change is taking so long - it is enabling MM's to try to cover their short positions...but there should still be enough momentum to really drive the price up.
I would - but I don't have any money...CHNW is starting to move and the name change is coming. I'll probably sit for a few days at least.
If I did transfer money in, it would be 3 days before I could do anything anyway.
we've had a really strong showing @ .0009 today - good news.
CHNW is actually trading on a lot less volume then they normally do, but Yes, it's a pretty high volume stock, with a float in the Billion's of shares. Another one with a lot of volume is BKMP. EVSA, has a much smaller float of oustanding shares. PDGT, has even fewer outstanding shares. EVSA, isn't trading much because a lot of people have lost money on it recently, and so they are holding hoping for a bounce. btw, I think it will bounce soon. It's low before was .0011, and not it's @ .0012, with good news pending about it's product going to market and production increasing. Hang tight.
well - it is up this morning, which is a good sign. I can't imagine they could come up with another idea for delaying this stock...
just to bring my perspective in on this - it appears that UBSS is the AX for CHNW driving the price down. I guess UBSS has taken the share orders for the old CEO, and is pushing it down. I've got too much invested to bail out now and I'll keep an eye on his position. If he stops being the AX and opens up his position, then I'd bet the sell-off is through, and this thing is going to sky-rocket. Keep an eye on UBSS - that's when we'll know when the tide is changing. It's kinda scaring me that his bid is @ .0006 and ask is at .0007, it might drop another point or so...but the fundamentals haven't changed, if anything they have gotten better, so it'll come back up. I can really see how people get frustrated with MM's.
I had a friend who owns hundred's of thousands of shares of this stock talk to the CEO today. In the midst of their conversation, my friend jokingly said, "Man, I'm thinking of selling out now, I tell you what, I'll sell all my shares to you for $25.00 a share now." To which the CEO responded, "well, I'd hold on to them for a few more months..."
I know they can't say much or it's considered inside trading, but I think they will have a lot of good news coming out soon. Additionally, according to the conference call - they were hindered in production this last winter because they had the harshest winter in like 30 years, (makes you wonder if there is any truth to global warming...), but that's just an abaration, now that things are warming up, production will increase and I see some good news coming over the spring and summer. It looks like it hit a resistance level today, but it still has plenty of room to rise.
To address the question of the huge share fall out in the fall, that was because people had really driven the price up on rumor of big news that never materialized. This news that we are hearing is not rumor. good times ahead!
Here is a good post over @ EVSA - I think it's terribly underpriced @ the level it's trading. I think the first contract they sign will drive this joker up considerably.
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=18632591
not normally, but CHNW is a different company. Few PK's have as much news or as much going for them as CHNW. It's really a diamond in the rough. I was planning on flipping a few times, but we've got caught in this name change play for a month now...so it's really driving me crazy. Probably after this one plays out, MOST stocks that I'm going to be in is a day or two @ a time. There are a few that I like long term, like EVSA and CHNW. Additionally, BMD is a good one, and it's approaching the level where I can play it both ways - investing long while it's going up and shorting it when it peaks.
I think there is a lot of expectation, and a lot of forces currently driving it down. If we get a positive revenue report - oh my gosh, this thing would would shoot, because in PK land everyone talks about possible deals, etc, and so people are leary until it hits the bottom line. When revenue rolls in, this thing will shoot! They do make money off of the Cash Now loan service, (we have one in Sparta, TN), but when we get money from the other branches, that's going to be awesome, and it's residual income too. If we make the sells, then the licensing fees keep rolling in for a long time there after. It's kind of a cat-mouse game, bulls vs Bears, but in 6 months, this thing really should be trading in pennies. I'm actually thinking about transfering some more money in to this in the next couple of days.
it's back up to .008...but I'm not selling at these crappy levels. I'm hanging long term...
down 63% so far and I hate to say it, but in PK world - it's probably going WAY lower...the shorts will kill it until it's a subber - might be one, like CHNW, that we get back on board when the get a new CEO and back on track...but that'll be a long while down the road...
CD3 - I removed your last post as a show of force, (not really) but because you used someone's proper name - as a rule, though I have broken it in the past accidentally, don't use people's real names - just screen names. thanks.
but you are more than welcome to write back and remention the violence of a salsa burger - or the incident where Straight-leg K-man actually threw-up: that was great!
IF we didn't think it was joke we would have banned you from the site...we can do that - you know?
:)
Jerk!
NWOG - I've started following it recently, because it seems undervalued @ .03, but again, it might not have bottomed out yet. I've visited the board and it seems that Strongus is trying to straighten it out some and get investor confidence back and it does seem like a good company just the victim of bad PR and some pumping. Any thoughts from anyone following it better than me - is this the bottom, or not yet. I already figure .03 would be a good entry point, but I don't want to get in early...
another interesting thing to point out on CHNW - no after hours trades. It appears that those are all finished, so it could be a good upward sign...just a thought.
not everyone starts investing on an upswing - you gotta be patient - I agree with Jimchew on that one. I guess a good question is, "does the market in general think that CHNW is valued higher than .0009 and will it be priced higher than .0009 in the near future?" I think so. Several factors are driving it down and it doesn't seem to be investors. MM's seem to be trying to cover shorts and it appears that maybe the old CEO is cashing in while he can. IMO, better now than later - which means that it will run even higher. Stick to you're guns - you made a good investment, and it should materialize.
Additionally - look at the first chart (weekly chart, volume is in bars below the Candlesticks) over on the CHNW board. You'll see when the last run down and run up took place - both were on a lot of volume. This latest dip is on minimal volume which means it's not a good indicator of the market @ large. If we had a high volume pushing this thing down - then I would have jumped out of CHNW and then back in when it finished dropping. it's been on low volume, so just be patient - it'll rebound.
ya - that's because BJT was selling @ .0010 - you didn't figure that out?? :)
Did you check into CHNW's graphics, logos, and color schemes before you invested? I didn't think so...that's where you went wrong... :)
It'll bounce - chill out.
Ya man - quit slacking around and make the markets behave...so it would appear CHNW can go lower...go figure.
tea leaves are cloudy on a lot of these stocks based on how they closed out the week. Several were near all-time lows and had upward action at the close, so personally, I'm waiting to see what the opening bids are going to be like and early volume as well. Several do look promising, like PMCL, PDGT, NVMG, ALRY.
ALRY specifically could be an interesing play. It's current @ a resistance level of .0056, the next level is .006 and after that who knows - it could really climb, especially with energy prices doing what they are doing now. I ALRY is one to keep on eye on tomorrow and see what it does, whether it breaks through and volume increases, or whether it goes down for another dive...what is that now - triple peak of something. Anyway...
Have a wonderful night and pleasant dreams to all.
ya - no joke - some weeks are great - others are.... well.... ya, anyway.
I think we have a lot of good plays this week as well. EVSA has GOT to have bottomed out - maybe I'll eat my words, but it seems like a great price now - .001.
I hoping to atleast just look @ candles tonight and let you know what those look like. I'm too wiped out to do much more, but I do think this week is a week of redemption. It should be fun...lots of action.
ya - what he said. It's difficult to pinpoint when stocks are sold. We do know they are excercising options and getting the stock - we don't know they are selling it. It's smart to excercise and have in hand, so you can sell if you want to - especially, seeing that it is running upward now. REAL revenue's are coming in, large orders, etc. I think think this is a great time for BMD. I have several friends who talk to the CEO on a weekly basis and have believed in this stock for years. Many of them held on when it was close to 9, only to see it drop, but they are in it for the long-haul. A guy in Alabama, owns 8-10 million shares that he had since it was a subber. When it went up to $9 a share, he didn't sell and that's a great sign. I think it's a good stock and will continue upward for quite a while. Sure, it will have corrections, but that's part of stocks. I don't think you can do wrong with this one. I'm buying this week - not selling - and I'd advice anyone else to do the same.
I'll update the Ibox tomorrow when I get a chance. I just got in from out of town and I'm exhausted - happy trading this week!!
volume is pretty low on CHNW today - I expect a pretty active afternoon - should be good. No trades in the last 30 minutes, so it should jump some soon...
the 4900% is kind of an inflated percentage based a stupid sell @ close yesterday. It appears that someone put in an extra zero on accident and so it closed @ .0001 instead of .001. Surprise, surprise, but I guess it's a good deal that it opens @ .005 up 500% from .001. I bet you did that on purpose didn't you?? :)
IS EQBM rolling on good news of is it just a random jump?
good news! sorry I had posted the latest news yet - I'm actually out of town, but I've really enjoyed this run!
BMD is really positioning for a good long-run escalation here.
ya - but what does it matter that the ex-CEO had shares that he's selling. It might be keeping the price @ .001, but it's obviously not enough to drive the price down and it's better than naked short selling - at least these shares do exist. :)
I have to take that board in small doses - plus, I love the fact that I can put posters on ignore. That is so much fun. Some days I just get overwhelmed. It's like I could spend the whole day posting just on that board (and I think some people actually do spend all day posting...). btw, I have another microcap book I was reading last night and he talks about out of 100 posts on a stock board, 15 are pumpers/dumpers, 20 are gossip, 10 are advertisements for other sites or products, etc. The book goes on and on and then says you're lucky to get 5 good posts out of hundred that have any meat on these stock boards. It cracked me up because BJT and I have said that exact same thing to each other over and over again, and then I just read it in print...I thought that was funny.
I'm going to be in Flo-town tommorrow through Sunday and I'll put together some chart analysis perhaps Thursday night, or over the weekend. I'm really starting to get excited about oil companies and alternative energy companies again. I know of a guy who owns a bunch of oil wells and things like that here in Tennessee. Guys got a lot of money and he's mentioned that in the next year he sees oil going up to $180 a barrel. He's just an opinion...but it's worth considering. I don't think it means that we have to get into those companies now, but I want to be ready so if oil does go up, I know exactly which companies I want to get into. I really like doing the analysis. oh ya - I might have another friend here in TN joining our board soon. He's got about 5k he wants to start out with and start trading. We'll see - I'm hesitant to bring people on board because I don't want to see them make a stupid trade and loose it all and blame me. So, I tend to be standoffish and if they are really interested than they will pursue me.
he he he ... Kapman said "Cajones" ... he he he
Love you guys - back to work, so I can take the rest of the week off...
BJT - you're really crackin' me up...and what do you expect from CHNW - I mean their board is called "CHNW" and our's is called "Thanks to Granddaddy Mac" - come on - where would you rather post...
Actually Josh Lukeman is my pen name and I'm trying to make a quick buck on a book that I can't make trading the PK's. How am I doin'? :) I keep getting more and more excited about CHNW and how I'm positioned. We're around for the longhaul - or atleast until we make our millions, and the sheer fact that none of us have blown our money in a couple of days but are worth more than we started with does mean a lot. I like our little board here.
btw, the CHNW charts are updated - let me know if like them, or else I can change them. I think they show the Candlesticks well and show the BB squeeze taking place. btw, I'm pretty encouraged with volume lately too. It's starting to pick up.
I guess I don't have much else on my mind this morning - happy trading today guys - BJT - sorry I missed you in Flo-town. I'm going to be there this weekend.
there are laws that force compliance within a time period (approx. 2 weeks) or else their trading privileges are supposed to be revoked until they produce the stock certificates; either by finding them( ha ha, that's a joke) or by buying new ones. However, in the past, this has not been well enforced. Obviously, by holding up a CUSSIP change it puts the spotlight on an already volatile issue that has been in the news numerous times recently. Hopefully by the exposure the SEC will actually enforce the laws they created. You have to be able to account for all your shares and it seems to be a perfect opportunity to catch naked short-sellers. Garr Winters seems to me to be a modern-day Clint Eastwood, who's not going to let the CUSSIP be held-up indefinitely. He'll get to the bottom of this and most MM's will buck-up and take the loss and buy stock rather be busted with their "pants-down" for short selling stock. It will be resolved...and I don't think it will be a long drawn out process.
absolutely - I guess I'm just watching and waiting. I haven't had much to say and don't want to be classified as a "pumper". I still believe in the company and what Brian is doing. staying long...
We have talked some around here about Candlestick analysis and other day trading tricks. I wanted to let you guys of a good book that I thought had a lot of good information. I was going to mail to BJT, but I've decided to keep it for reference. Why memorize all the Candlestick terms when I can quickly flip to that chapter in the book and then I can save the memory space for something else like my anniversary. Anyway - it's "The Market Maker's Edge - day trading from a wall street insider" by Josh Lukeman. CD3 - I'll bring it home this weekend if you wnat to look @ it or read it over the weekend. As with any book, some stuff doesn't apply to PK stocks and you always chew up the meat and spit out the bones, but I do think it's a good starting place in strategy, insight, Technical Analysis, etc. Let me know what you guys think. I got the hardcopy from Amazon for like $4, but now I think the cheapest price is $10 used from Amazon, but it will be a hard copy and it's worth $10 in my opinion. I hope that helps somebody...and for no other reason, it's a great reference for what each technical tool shows you, how to use them, etc. Each of develop the TA tools that we prefer, but it helps in trying different ones out.
btw, I just sent some new charts to the moderator on the CHNW board for him to update on the ibox. The current ones are too difficult to read. In the new charts I sent, I think it's very easy to see how the Bollinger bands are tightened. He said he would update it in the next day or so. The BB are the green lines - in the last couple days they have REALLY tightened in a good way. Incidentally, tightening BB's are not always good, if the bears out short sell the bulls and plummet the price, but that happens less often in PK land. tightening BB's just magnify the effect of whoever wins between the bulls and bears. We've got good momentum and great news hitting the streets each day so I expect a strong upward push...just a thought.
