it's nothing i'm trading...their early version was a 20" x 3' box riddled with tubes holding 8 rounds each...it virtually fired a wall of lead, one right behind the other, it was very cool...
hey, i know ZLC is all over the hub, but it's looking pretty good today...did get an upgrade...jfyi
it's critters like that that convince me we did not evolve from pre-mortal slime...
have you ever seen electric ammo?

ROTF!...naa...i was sittin on my porch with my smoke51 when i was visited by the little creature...god awesome stuff...
i often wondered what that lil sprinkle feeling was when i was on the bike...
>>the time of day is immaterial when looking at that ratio because it's already time-adjusted<<
i bet somebody that trades on the hour would think otherwise...
>>overcome the issue of how to compare today's volume to average volume<<
i don't follow, simply observe the volume bar against the average line will tell you that...
did i say to buy it? lol
seriously, it's never happened that i can tell...it was a random and fleeing thought...
my bad...i thought a stock with a TAAV of 4.5 two hours into the day might qualify as a strategic interest... LOL
i just realized....
i've never seen hummingbird poop on my windshield...
>>I would say that saying "XXXX is running" is probably too vague.<<
too vague to pull up the chart and see the volume at twice the 65day avg only two hours into trading?...i think there's a canned formula for that already...
i'm sorry, i do this for a living and don't have the time during trading hours to ~strategize~...
appy trades!
i see, so you'd prefer this to be a screen and pattern formula board and if a stock is posted because of it's technical behavior, then it's pumping...hmmmmm...i certainly don't want to force anyone to make money...
i did stocktwits, didn't have time for it, i'd rather trade...
ok, so it's preferred that i don't post stocks that are just running, like DRYS?
DRYS gettin the love now...
nice break!...but you guys freak me out on these low rollers...
out apwr...nearly 20%...

check out the C&H on RFMD...i'm trading the handle up to circa 2.60, 2.80, and beyond, i hope...and GL on AXL...nice leverage there! i'm watching closely...
(sorry mattie...talking stocks is just so natural)
in the majority of those flagging/ascending patterns, it's typically the first day of the pattern that sets the high for the rest of the bars...but that can be any length of 'bars ago', which makes uniformity of the scan rather elusive...it's quite a bit different than coding for an asc-tri that is two or three months long...and the best yields from my scans say KISS.... ;)
oh...my bad...that was suppose to be an inverted H&S...and you'll begin to see them when your trades last longer than an hour, you cherokee... ;)
Tony...i prefer the flag pattern below the one you have annotated for breakouts...it's kindofa mini ascending triangle...i've coded using NTE highs, higher lows, trading ranges and 'bars ago'...i always get a varietal bucket of fish that have some nice keepers in it...i'm sure if i added more code that i could filter further, but i'd rather trade... lol...
let me go thru my various saved files and see what i can stitch together to make a frankenstein scan...
appy trades!
ps...the TDA PM is as weak as wilted lettuce.
i would of thought that JEC would've flinched a bit more in sympathy...but ACM is workin a wedge off that inverted C&H...i'd put that on the list... ;)
who cares?...we'll just print more gold!
geeze...you think they'll ever like sex again?
RFMD is cyclying thru it's handle (C&H)...it's flagging on the 60 (not to be confused with flogging) though the volume for today sux...but me and the horse are watchin it...
too late....i bot it...
lol!...being that you are so honest and willing to share, here's my trade strategy explained...
one day i was sitting on the porch of my ranch when a duck bounced off the roof of my barn...some biker had a shot him from across the stream...when he came to get the duck i told him he couldn't have it as it was on my property...he said it was his duck and that i should give him a break as he was from the city and didn't know the rules...i said, that's not the way we do things out here...he asked, what do we need to do?...i said, well we kick each other in the balls until only one is left standing, and being that you're a biker and you are on my land, i get to go first...he agreed, so i landed squarely and he wreathed on the ground for about ten minutes...he finally got up and said, your turn...i said, naaaa, you can keep the duck....
and i bot CEDC off the 5min slo sto cross...
APWR...don't buy it NM...eom
stay out of the short skirts and you'll be fine....

gap coming on higher earnings and backlog...
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Engineering and construction company URS Corp. said Wednesday its first-quarter net income jumped 53 percent to beat Wall Street expectations on growth in federal, infrastructure and other markets. The company's net income rose to $75.5 million, or 92 cents per share, from $49.4 million, or 59 cents per share, a year prior. Revenue rose 12 percent to $2.52 billion from $2.26 billion.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters had expected profit of 63 cents per share on revenue of $2.34 billion.
URS' backlog of projects yet to be completed rose to $19.6 billion from $17.2 billion.
"We had revenue growth in each of our four key market sectors -- federal, infrastructure, power and industrial and commercial, and we continued to win significant new contracts and grow our book of business," said Martin M. Koffel, chairman and chief executive, in a statement.
URS also said quarterly results benefited from accelerated activity on certain large projects and from the timing of certain project-related fees and overhead cost reductions.
Looking ahead, the company reaffirmed its outlook for profit between $2.80 to $2.95 per share on revenue between $9.5 billion and $10 billion. Analysts expect profit of $2.93 per share on revenue of $9.87 billion, on average.
Shares of URS fell 61 cents to close at $43.14 Wednesday, but jumped $1.87, or 4.3 percent, to $45.01 in aftermarket electronic trading after the results were released.

LOL!...dayaam!...does that mean i'm an asshole now???
ok...but i made you laugh a little...next time we'll do some money...but don't tell me i didn't try!
and i don't think you are ~incumbent~ on anybody...
well i wasn't sure about buyin the hourly short Sto crossover today, i didn't, i bot it when the 10min flag broke...and i tried to make you buy it in april...

i dunno, but my 10min is chock full of green bars, it's been defying gravity for a while and they are 25% short...perhaps it's been covering for a while now?
big volume for STSA today...eom
that just ain't right...if i tried to write code that long, my jammers would be outta style by the time i finished!
