In either case I believe the stock will run again. Only a matter of time. My profits are the only thing taking a hit. We saw the same thing at 0.02
Agree. This stock is nearly predictable. Crazy run, dip, steady, crazy run, dip steady, crazy run, dip, then steady. We are at a steady part right now. And of course any news or recent filings whenever they drop will cause a crazy run.
I'm not on edge. I fully understand what is going on and can be patient. Good luck to you.
Pretty much. Is what it is and their loss. Gear up for the "I wish I didn't sell" comments on various boards in the coming weeks.
Hahahaha true. All in good time. Patiently waiting for the next run which will come.
Lol I know right!!! Google is your friend as are yellow stickies on Ihub boards
Same with restructuring. That takes time and is not something that is done overnight. It can take months to get a solid restructuring implemented. Sadly we live in a world where people want instant gratification and patience is not a trait many people possess these days.
If you did your DD or at the very least read the yellow stickies you wouldn't not agree with Justkate. JustSaying.
I can't reply to private messages but just wanted to say good luck to you as well. I think all invested here and those that will invest here will do well. At least for the next 4 years.
I cant reply to private messages but yes I agree with you 100%. Either 1 too many bloosy Mary's or just not all there lol. Cheers Doc!
I think he was getting at if it managed to get to 0.70 to begin with. At least that's how I read it. Because yeah value doesn't change just the amount of shares like you said.
Many people would become millionaires for sure. It wouldn't make me a millionaire but it would make for a VERY nice pay day if I decided to dump and get out. A 1:7 at $4.90 would be great because you're not up listing at a higher price which gives time for momentum to build up. Personally I would need the stock to rise to $16.80 in the event of a 7:1 reverse split for an uplist at $4.90 to be a millionaire.
At $4.90 is a good price though. Leaves a lot of room for increase and provides a cheaper price for new investors to jump in. If the FOMO and MOMO work just right and the news is just right, then $10pps-to-$20pps is very possible shortly after uplist. Just have to wait and see. All speculation right now and we won't know until we know.
I'm the type of investor that looks at it like this... if it uplist to $4.90 it will hit $5. If it hits $5 it will hit $10. If it hits $10 it will hit $15. If it hits $15 it will hit $20. After $20 you're playing with fire if there is no news or large contracts or something like that to support it.
Your math works only if you assume a split at 0.05. We know that is not the case since we are already at 0.05/0.06 and we have hit a high of 0.09 and no split has happened. As others on this board have mentioned, the split will most likely occur between 0.70 and $1. In which case a 1:100 split for a $5 up list does not work.
Now that I know where you are coming from your math is fine. You're just off target on the pps when a reverse split will occur. I agree if a RS were to happen today then yes a 1:100 reverse split for uplist at $5 makes sense and works.
Hahahaha
Something tells me you will have to explain it several more times haha.
So don't invest. It's that simple. Let the rest of us enjoy the gains.
True and I never put all my eggs in one basket. Diversity is key as you mentioned. I dumped on the news of no merger. I am sure PASO will get back up to 0.02 or maybe a little above eventually. I took a 82% loss on my original investment with PASO/CLX fiasco. Sounds bad and it is but nothing I haven't already made up or could afford to lose to begin with. More disappointed than anything. Financially I am fine. I literally made up what I lost here days later. Still sucks to lose money though. Granted it's not a loss until you sell but I don't foresee the PPS getting over 0.05 anytime soon. I could be wrong though.
The whole Hestia thing could do wonders for those still holding. I hope it does. I just won't be around for it. If my "bonus preferred shares" don't disappear one day I will just let those ride and hope it eventually let's me get back that 82% I lost. The falling through with CLX and stringing along investors just put a bad taste in my mouth. So much so that no matter how high the pps goes in the future, I still want nothing to do with PASO.
Good luck to all still holding here. I truly hope you all come out on top or at the very least break even one day.
I got so caught up in your crazy number of a 1:100 reverse split to up list at $5 that I forgot to point out that a reverse split is meant to reduce the OS. Not the AS.
Authorized shares (AS) are the maximum number of shares a company is allowed to issue to investors. Outstanding shares (OS) are the actual shares issued or sold to investors from the available number of authorized shares.
With no news or filings that is a fair guesstimate. We get positive news or filings and it craps on those numbers lol. But who knows? We could hit 0.15 Tuesday afternoon. One never really knows and trying to guess what the PPS will be is pretty hard to do especially with a very volatile stock like ASTI.
I disagree... strongly lol. 1:10 or 1:20 reverse split at most. In your guesstimate of a 1:100 even at 0.50pps pre split that would mean after the split everyones shares would be worth $50 a piece. Not $5. I believe your numbers/math is waaaaay off and you don't quite understand splits.
For sure my pleasure. We all are here to learn and share info to help eachother out. Short term in my opinion is what it is. I am doing my best to keep emotions in check and focus on the big picture. I will be here post split because I have a faith good things are coming and my position is awesome but not nearly as high as some on here. Those with tens of millions of shares will most likely sell off between 0.20 and 0.50. They won't even see the split and I can't blame them.
If I had 30 million shares bought at 0.0002 I would dump too at 0.20-0.30. That's millions of dollars. But my position is smaller So I will be sticking around for the split if it happens. If the split is 1 for 10 at $1 then my magic numbers are between is anything over $15.
Nobody knows and it is all speculation until it actually happens. Most educated guesses are a 1:10 to 1:15 reverse split between 0.70 pps and $1.00 pps. Nobody really knows though and it is anyone's guess. There could easily be a slight buy back coupled with a smaller reverse split. Buy backs happen too. I don't think a buy back will occur but it is certainly in the realm of possibilities to lower the amount of shares out there. We really don't know until we know.
In any case so long as the reverse split is done right and good news accompanies the split then I believe the stock will shoot up nicely. Otherwise a split with nothing to back it up will cause the stock to fall quickly. Current shareholders aren't the ones that need convincing to invest. It will be the new shareholders trading on the NASDAQ that don't even look at penny stocks are the ones that will need convincing to invest.
What SubPenny said. Regardless the size of the split it will be worth same amount. Think of it as exchanging twenty single dollar bills for one twenty dollar bill. Or five ten dollar bills for one fifty dollar bill. You don't lose any value on your investment post split.
So if you have 100,000 shares at 0.70 you have $70,000.00 pre split. If the split is 1:10 at 0.70 pps you will have 10,000 shares worth $7.00 a piece. 100,000 shares ÷ 10 = 10,000 shares. 10,000 x $7.00 = $70,000.00. You value has not changed only the share count.
What happens to your investment after the split is up to the shareholders and the market. Which nobody can really predict. Your stock could slump because everyone is selling and not buying and likewise it can go up because people like the stock and are buying it up. The split itself does not impact your investment. The market and shareholders do. Hope that helps
It's been stated numerous times... a RS would be good because that would mean an up list to NASDAQ. 9 times out of 10 a RS is bad and stocks do it because they are in a downtrend and trying to stay listed. If ASTI does a RS it is because it is on an uptrend and trying to get on the big board aka NASDAQ. So an RS is good. The 1 time out of 10 an RS is good.
Good ole days indeed. Cheers to you friend!
Yeah but at least you all have some Cups there. The Toronto MakeBeLeafs will get there again one day lol. Good luck brother. May ASTI make your hockey woes more bearable. Could be worse. You could be a Canucks fan lol
Hahaha all good. I am not a paying user of IHub so I only get 15 post per day and private messages only seem to work once in a while for me. But yes the Blues will be the Blues just when you don't want them to be. As a lifelong St.Louis Blues fan I can say they have let me down more than once lol. But hey we won the cup in 2019 and Game 7 against Boston Bruins was epic. so I will be forever grateful for that. ASTI will be ok and we will have our day in the sun. Be patient load and hold. Good things are in store for this ticker.
Seems to be the game now. I have 1 share of PASO lol. Just to keep up on what it does which looks to be not much currently. Will jump back in if it ever it decides to be more than sham. Overall happy I cut my losses, got out and moved on. I truly hope all still invested here get their money back and even get some profits after the CLX bs but also hope that others still holding here know there are far better opportunities and stocks out there to invest in. I have already made up the loss here elsewhere and implore other PASOnians to try and do the same. Sitting here waiting on a miracle after the CLX fiasco is a pipe dream in my opinion.
I held up until the end of a no merger announcement. Not gonna lie it stung and was disappointing to say the least. But the sooner you cut your losses, lick your wounds and move on the better off you might be. Even if PASO pulls itself out of the gutter I would be extremely apprehensive to jump back in after the CLX crap.
I only hold 2 penny stocks. I picked ASTI along with two others a couple years ago. The other two I picked around the same time as ASTI tanked. 1 went completely belly up and the other is just a lame duck currently. ASTI however is proving to be a solid pick. Only a matter of time before this really takes off. Take advantage of the low price because it won't be around come Q2.
Creeping back up. Like most here know and knew it would.
I'm thinking you're right. If not then we will be green next week.
I have many tickers in red this morning. Market behavior today is looking less optimistic. I personally could care less about the nay sayers that magically appear on this board on bad days and disappear on good days. The DD speaks for itself and ASTI like every other stock is not immune to market behavior. Even Amazon, Tesla and Berkshire Hathaway are down today. So red everywhere. Much like what we saw a couple weeks ago.
All I'm saying is given the DD and facts surrounding ASTI and one decides to walk away then good luck to you. I for one am here for the long haul. In my opinion it is stupid to walk after signficant gains over the last few months, new ownership, and no catalysts other than market behavior across the board causing the slump. You want to sell before ASTI really gets moving that's on you. Just hope on the next run you aren't on this board crying you sold your lot at 0.05.
Yep.. I was hoping for a normal open and not a huge gap to fill.
Lmao... get'em!
Hahaha. Well the Yotes have the Blues number right now
Yep... against my better judgment I sold some other shares elsewhere for 20,000 more shares of ASTI
Go Blues for sure!!! Hope they can solve the issues with their special teams that has been crap for like 5 seasons and stop losing to Arizona lol. I unfortunately can't load up more ASTI until next week. Good luck to you
It's called pullback and is a short term move of a long-term trend. If one is smart and capable they will load up now before next run. Getting crushed? Hardly! Down 11% after 4-5 days of solid 30% or more increase each day? Not to mention the steady increase since October of last year. Newb investors might panic and sell and more power to them. Those of us who know better are holding strong and/or loading now.
If people panic and sell that is their problem.
Yep... seen it fill moments after I replied lol
