KBFP still moving!! .05/.055
I thought that it looked too good to pass up!!
Took my profits on ERICY @ .95
I had to remind myself to sell on strength. It's going to go up more - probably over a buck, but I got what I needed out of it. In dollars, this has been my best day ever!! And it's not even half over!! Back to research!!!
I did the exact same thing (EDSN)
Except I took all of mine out. It started showing weakness when it got to .81 or so. I made up for the loss that I took on CPTL!! Yeah!!!
ERICY - I'm telling you - strength! EDSN too!
There's some serious buying and short-covering on both! ERICY about to blow past a dollar if I'm reading it right....
ERICY - I'm seeing mid-.90s soon.
There's a heck of a lot of buying and I'm sure that anyone short is messing in his pants today!
ProfitChaser - I'm still holding all of my EDSN!
Keeping a close eye on it - seeing increasing strength still!
Check out realtime Island. Both ERICY and EDSN are kicking butt today!!
Keep an eye on KBFP (otcbb):
Yeah, I bought a little bit of an otcbb stock (posted yesterday)
- it looked too good to pass up...
ERICY - I think that's the idea....
...To take it up over a buck. They're doing right by me, to be sure!!
ERICY - TWO MORE!! WOW!!
It should go up over a buck with all of this news out!!
ERICY MORE NEWS! Just out!

Ericsson Signs 3G License Pact With Huawei Technologies
STOCKHOLM -(Dow Jones)- Telefon AB LM Ericsson of Sweden said Thursday that it has signed an agreement to license its patent portfolio for 3G telephony to Chinese telecommunications supplier Huawei Technologies .
Under the terms of the worldwide, royalty-bearing agreement, Ericsson has granted Huawei Technologies a non-exclusive, non-transferable license under Ericsson's patent portfolio for the WCDMA/UMTS mobile telephony standard. This allows Huawei Technologies to develop, manufacture and sell infrastructure as well as subscriber equipment using the leading mobile technology from Ericsson.
In return, Huawei Technologies provides running royalty payments, as well as a reciprocal license to Ericsson.
Huawei Technologies is the leading Chinese vendor for communications equipment and network solutions for telecom carriers in fixed, mobile and data communications networks, Ericsson said
Still holding onto my EDSN!!
What a ride! And ERICY -- Maybe another double/triple in one week? It's still looking strong, too!!
Whip - That (Ticker) is how I get so many of my leads!
I noticed SITE today, but figured that I'd better not chase it...About AMEX - they run AMEX (usually leaders, I think) there on CNBC too. You may not notice them for the NYSE 3 letter symbols.....
I found the Reuters article about ERICY:
http://www.reuters.com/co_news_presentation.jhtml?type=companynews&provider=companynews&Stor...
"Other rumours on the market were that loss-making Ericsson, which had nothing but bad news for investors over the last two years, was doing better than expected in some markets. A company spokeswoman told Reuters Ericsson secured a $70 million GSM network expansion order in China from operator China mobile."
" Dealers also said there was talk of Ericsson's handset making joint venture with Sony Corp 6758.T would cooperate with computer maker Apple.
"The origin of the rumour is probably the cover of Apple's magazine featuring our phone and the fact that our President Katsumi Ihara spoke at a seminar in the U.S. at the end of July about connecting Sony Ericsson handsets to Apple computers via Bluetooth," said Sony Ericsson spokesman Peter Bodor."
ERICY - China Mobile contract for 70 million
That's what I got from a Reuter's quote. I'll try to verify it.
"A company spokeswoman told Reuters Ericsson secured a $70 million GSM network expansion order in China from operator China mobile."
EDSN HERE WE GO!!!eom
KBFP moving up! Keep an eye on it!! .04/.041
Recent news....
I'm hanging onto mine for awhile, Jane
EDSN has a lot more upside, IMO.
Ask is .42! Looking good, Jane!
I was lucky enough to catch it at the low....

Hey, OTCBB fans - Try this one: KBFP .041
The timing looks right for a good gain! Stock buyback, etc.
They Downgraded, imo, so that they could get in before the price shot up! You see it a lot of times, where a downgrade is followed by a slow rise in price. It's part of the manipulation, imo. You can't trust analysts! Come to think of it, there aren't many whom you can trust!!
More on that PRIM - deal with Z-TEL
I hadn't heard of them, but they are listed on NAS.
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?d=t&s=ztel
For those who do pinks - PRIM has news. eom

Mary, I went with ERICY - - It's looking good this morning in PRE -market. Lotsa buying.
Today's a great day, everyone!
Dow/NASDAQ futures up. Look for some low-priced NASDAQ stocks with great news! I'm looking for some news from ERICY. Also, remember to keep some defense/security stocks on the watchlist. If there's some action in IRAQ, investors will flock to those stocks, imo.
Good day today for me!
Back on my pattern again! Q did it for me today!!
Good eye, Skeena!
WLDI moved to about .03 last week. It'd be great to see it happen again. I'd like to see ISOTEC hook onto a really big contract!

World Am Communications, Inc. Receives Second Order from Third-Largest Commercial Bank in California
WESTMINSTER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 20, 2002--Isotec, Inc., World Am Communications, Inc.'s (OTCBB:WLDI - News) wholly owned subsidiary, announced today that Hamilton Pacific has placed an order for an access control portal system to be installed at a second branch of a financial institution in California. ADVERTISEMENT
James H. Alexander, World Am Communications CEO, said, "We are excited about this development as it represents a repeat order from a financial institution that has over 160 branches in California, Oregon, and Washington."
World Am Communications, Inc. also announced today that the response from the September 2002 issue of Popular Science magazine has been very positive. Popular Science magazine asked Isotec and a handful of other security companies to help them "Engineer an airport that would target terrorists without gumming up passenger traffic." The end result is a special four-page article. The article is titled 'BLUEPRINT FOR A STERILE AIRPORT.' See the article at: http://www.World-Am.com.
Isotec wishes to make the following clarification of its press release dated August 1, 2002: The headline stated that, 'Receives Order from Third-Largest Bank in California.' The correct statement according to bank published literature should have stated, 'Receives Order From Third-Largest Commercial Bank in California.'
Isotec has installed similar systems for the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Federal Reserve, the U.S. Air Force Nuclear Weapons storage facility, and the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
Isotec is best known in the security industry for its "Transparent Security(TM)" systems, which it conceived and developed. The security measures are unobtrusive and non-threatening. For example, its metal detection system in a door opening or hallway is used to detect persons carrying weapons into a building, thereby alerting appropriate security personnel. The system records a photo or video of the event while allowing security an opportunity to evaluate and take appropriate action before the person carrying the unauthorized weapon is alerted.

Actually...it hopped on me.
I had set a limit order....
Hopped on Q at 2.70!
I'd been watching it all day for a dip.
BB - about DNAP...
I think that you're right - volume has been slack for a genomics stock. Really outstanding news will make it take off, IMO. It may turn out to be a good play on a down day....
Me and you both, Dave.
I did the same thing and bought on a dip at .25! I just got into a little DNAP on patent news.
Watch this one go up! DNAP (.039)
Patent news just out...
Watch DNAP - news out! (.039)! eom
Way to go, big guy!
I saw that one coming (after you pointed it out, of course).
Hey, did you see that our old friend DNAP has news?
They had been pretty quiet for awhile....
DNAPrint Files Patent to Protect 2,425 SNPs Linked to Drug Response
SARASOTA, Fla., Aug. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DNAPrint genomics, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DNAP - News) announced today that it has filed a patent application to protect 2,425 Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) useful for predicting response to a large number of commonly prescribed drugs. ADVERTISEMENT
DNAPrint has previously compiled a candidate gene database of several thousand validated drug metabolism and drug target gene SNPs -- collectively known as the "PHENOME" SNP database. However, the new SNPs claimed in the present patent application were identified from a different, more systematic screen of the entire human genome. The sequence of each is useful for explaining variation in drug response to differing extents, depending on the drug, and the Company's data suggests that most are likely linked to genes in the human genome previously not known to be of pharmacological relevance. As such, DNAPrint believes it is the first to claim markers of this type and elucidate the potential of this new subset of the variable human genome as specifically relevant for predicting drug response.
The new patent application could provide DNAPrint a tremendous advantage towards developing pharmacogenomics classifiers that are specific, sensitive and predictively powerful enough for routine clinical use. "Most of these SNPs have been ignored by the genomics community. Though others may have unwittingly and indirectly linked a very small fraction of these SNPs with variable drug response, technical and conceptual considerations have evidently prevented them from yet recognizing the underlying fundamentals of these associations," said Tony Frudakis, Ph.D., DNAPrint's CEO. "Such recognition would be required to generate a competitive patent application." Indeed, a review of the journal and patent literature reveals no reports describing the phenomena that the Company believes cause the linkages.
The discovery that led to the patent application was unexpected, but part of a deliberate and systematic genetic research strategy at DNAPrint. "That we could identify linkages such as this en masse, within the confines of a relatively small research budget, is indicative of the intelligence and objectivity of our systematic study design and algorithmic approach," said Dr. Kondragunta Venkateswarlu, Vice-President of DNAPrint genomics, Inc.
To maintain its competitive advantage, the company will refrain from presenting details of the discovery until the findings are published by the US Patent and Trademark Office.
