Oh, man! I’ve seen that done and it’s quite startling.
Ha! I think I still have the dang thing running around here somewhere.
That plate of biscuits and gravy is… something else. How did you like it?
I went to the federal reserve a million years ago on a school field trip. I wonder if they still give away bags of shredded bills after the tours.
I am also a stickler for faced bills and crisp cash. I have to face everything and put all bills in numerical order before it goes in my wallet. I can’t remember ever just shoving cash in my wallet otherwise. Also, if I’ve got worn cash, I’ll use that first to get it out of my possession before the crisp cash.
The metrics are actually explained at the bottom of the Breakout Board page:
* Rate is the change in posting activity in the past 24 hours vs. the average from the prior 7 days after certain minimums have been met.
** Market data is delayed 15-20 minutes and is updated once per minute.
Sometimes!
Good call!
With the friends I have, it’s almost criminal how sober I am 99% of the time. I know things from being the observer rather than the participant. Someone has to remember the foolishness that happens at parties. LOL
I thought it was alcohol and Taco Bell. Pot and pizza delivery.
Canna-butter noodles?
That’s a good suggestion.
I do enjoy the occasional leftover taco meat in with eggs, salsa, and sour cream for breakfast. I’ll add jalapeños if I have them on hand. With or without the tortilla.
That actually sounds like a pretty tasty breakfast muffin.
That’s so cool!
No doubt. Getting groups like that to cohesively come together so well takes quite a bit of coordination. But did she have as much fun as it seems like they are?
Me, too! They always looked like so much fun.
Ha! I love how you think I’ll remember that.
I actually enjoy soaps and lotions as a gift, as well, for very similar reasons.
Thanks for the heads up! I’ll definitely look for it.
I’ll have to find it. I loved that show!
It sure is!
She has a fantastic voice!
I’m willing to wager that it likely doesn’t help that the ampersand is used in pretty much every coding language so using them in text that is translated to a hyperlink probably confuses things a bit. However, I’m not a programmer so The Geeks may laugh at that speculation altogether because I could be entirely off in my train of thought.
I notice that shows up if someone uses the ampersand in the part of the message that would show as the header. I’ve seen it in PMs a couple of times. Kind of hit and miss for me.
When the opportunity presents itself like that, how could you not!
I do love strawberries and gingersnaps. I bet that would be good!
New to me, at least. I found a song called “In The Stars” by Benson Boone while letting YouTube music auto-play this morning. It’s really good.
We already track moderator performance. Board moderators are posters who volunteer to moderate. Expecting one moderator to keep up with a busy board is a bit much and having several is not only common practice but allows for checks and balances within the moderators themselves.
Aside from that, this board is for random conversations that get started on the Q&A board that don’t actually have anything to do with the Q&A board.
Twice, I think.
I am of two minds on that. On the one hand, it keeps everything consolidated. On the flip side, that’s basically creating a virtual cage match.
I used to work with a gal years ago whose “shut up” always depended on context. It could translate to “stop talking,” or “no way, that’s so exciting,” or “I don’t believe that.”
There are more than just the QAnon folks like that. That particular group just happens to be the one getting the most publicity at the moment.
Those are actually my top complaints about other social media sites, as well. Glad to know I’m not the only one that’s bothered by things like that.
Your NextDoor “neighborhood” sounds much more civil than mine. I tend to avoid NextDoor like the plague because of the toxicity on nearly every post.
Absolutely beautiful! I’m also a bit fascinated at how she could produce such flawless tone and vibrato with an off center embouchure. I’ve been around brass players all my life and have never seen anyone play like that. That was absolute perfection, though!
So far, mine have held up nicely!
And apparently on sale today. What a deal!
Hi, Peanut! Your momma is absolutely right!
They’re rated for 11 pounds, I noticed.
