TECO is putting some team together. Drilling in Belize should continue this week. It's getting exciting in TECO land.
They are on the way!
Let's not forget what a great job Andrew Reid has done turning this company around. He is the ultimate corporate turnaround guy in my opinion.
First time Bruce Gwyn was mentioned in a pr we ran to .09+

Re: UPDATE ON BELIZE & TEXAS
On Thursday, November 3, 2011, Treaty Energy’s management met with our Drilling Supervisors at the New Orleans headquarters to discuss the current drilling status in Belize and Texas.
Mr. Bill Harden, Treaty Energy’s Drilling Superintendent, explained that during his duration in Belize to ‘spud in’ the first two wells, he had the opportunity to explore the two Treaty Leases, the Princess Concession and the Paradise Concession, and he is very optimistic about both drilling opportunities. In relation to the first two wells, Mr. Harden updated Treaty’s management on the current shipment of equipment that is scheduled to arrive in Belize on November 13th at 2300 hours. Included in this latest shipment are the following: Failing Drilling Rig mounted on Chevy chassis, Wichtex Drilling Rig mounted on Ford chassis, 32ft Pipe Trailer, John Deere Generator, Blowout Preventer, over 2,000 feet of pipe and several crates of miscellaneous drilling materials and tools.
Mr. Harden and his crew are making arrangements to meet the ship in Belize to ensure the careful unloading of the two rigs and other equipment and to assist customs in whatever way they can to expedite the clearing of the equipment. Once the equipment has cleared customs, Mr. Harden and crew expect drilling to continue on the first well within 24 hours. He expects the first well to take seven to ten days to drill to depth and will take every precaution as it is drilled and logged. Mr. Harden is very confident about the success of the first well.
In addition, the second well will be drilled immediately following the first well, as Mr. Harden will have the completion/work over rig to complete the first well. He is also prepared to accelerate production to maximum capabilities upon completion of the first two wells. Furthermore, Treaty Energy management in Belize will be working with the Environmental Department of Belize to secure permitting for an additional eight to ten well locations already marked by Treaty Energy.
With regard to our Texas leases both work over of existing wells and drilling of new wells were part of the discussion. Mr. Steve York stated that production has been steadily increasing and is currently at 50 barrels per day. In addition to current production, Mr. York expects to sell all accumulated reserves held in tanks during the months of November and December.
In addition to the current Texas wells, Mr. York is in the beginning phase of a twelve well drilling program located on the most recent lease purchase in Texas. The Woolbridge Leases have twelve locations that are expected to produce 14 to 22 barrels of oil per day each. These new wells will bring Treaty production close to the goal of 300 barrels per day by the end of 2011. Mr. York is striving to accomplish this year end goal but stated that it could run into January of 2012.
Beyond these twelve new wells, there are nine more sites on the Woolbridge Leases that are very promising. While we have a funding commitment for the first twelve new wells, Treaty Energy management is working to secure the additional funding required to drill the next nine wells. Drilling and completion costs for those nine wells are estimated at $100,000.00 each.
During the Nov 3rd meeting Mr. York emphasized that Treaty has the opportunity to drill dozens of additional wells in Texas on virgin fields over the next year. He is also extremely optimistic and committed to reaching 1,000 barrels of oil per day from our Texas leases by July 1, 2012.
In conclusion, I want to make certain that our investors understand that Treaty management has a plan being implemented on several fronts that I believe will strongly justify and reward the loyalty that Treaty has seen from its longstanding shareholders.
Sincerely,
Andrew Reid, CEO

The first two wells have been spud in and drilling will resume when new rig gets there. Want to see what the complaints will be then. Lol
And that oil is light sweet crude btw.
TECO pics on company facebook page show oil seeping from ground 300 feet away from where they are drilling now:

Hey geo, talked to company rep about your comment and this is their response....
1st conductor is set and cemented on the first 2 wells and pictures will be put on facebook and company pages.
The area is not swampy in any way and they do not need to do any drainage work. As soon as the smaller rig is through customs (a few days after it arrives in port) drilling to dept will be finished.
TECO Drilling in Belize has commenced.
It's on TECO's facebook page...letter from CEO and actual pics of drilling:

That's amazing. The guy should be given a job not punished. Lol
I'm sure they would include an agreement that x amount of wells or years of drilling for TECO is included in sell price.
You don't send a work over rig unless you know there will be something to "work over".
Seems they're confidant they will be hitting oil.
If it's a public company that is buying the drilling division then shareholders of record as of closing date should get a rewarded. I think it will be shares.
This is a great way to squeeze the shorts.
I wonder as of what date shareholders of record will be rewarded?
Sounds like a check or shares of the company that is buying this division will be sent to shareholders!
It's on company facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Treaty-Energy-Corporation/138620389562521
Would be interesting to see how the media will react if TECO hits oil.
Yes, I see that. Was going to buy this AM but I forgot and I just got home from work and see this!
