A positive sign is Bourg33 is back, ctum went up big right after he posted last time, let's see if he can do the magic again.
News: additional US LTC patent
http://biz.yahoo.com/pz/060509/98758.html
ok, L~, I guess the river shouldn't be a concern if there are pipes there already.
exciting stuff, thanks in2lite and kilowiz
ctum is under accumulation at 0.24. I am holding my shares tight.
vawaterboy, this is helpful info, indeed it takes time to get right-of-way, especially if several land owners are involved. What can you do with the river ? Hope this thing won't drag for years.
Gateway, the lawsuit was dismissed, that should be a good news for the company. ctum owns some money to Nature Coast Collections and was willing to pay them back with cash and equity. Once they got more deals and price goes higher, Nature Coast Collections will be happy to get shares, unless they are morons.
apparently the mkt doesn't pay attention to LTC that much now, the price went from 0.06 to 0.24 now solely because DuPont deal, this is an "America is the center of the world" mkt, LTC in US needs FDA approval, it's a long shot, selling to Eastern Europe with 300 mil people ? most people yawn and fart. I am not saying this is right or wrong, or Europe is not important, but this is just the reality. We have to wait for DD deal to complete and have more LFG deals. It will happen within the next 60 days. I can wait.
Don't give that BS, "If you don't sell, you won't feel any pain", u r laughing your s off, right ? My balls arn't no softer than yours, if u indeed have balls. Have some fun, it's your day.
bid .7 ask .705, this is f ugly
U happy now ? Meridian, good job, man. I would really appreciate it if u shut up today since u don't have any shares and don't feel the f pain we'll feel today.
How about sec ? What do u think sec is for ?
Why sould DOJ/FBI be interested in a small company like erhe ? DOJ is interested in msft, FBI is interested in murders. Maybe u delivered messages to wrong people ?
Meridian: a wolf in sheep's clothing
The filing only says "U.S. District Court of the
Southern District of Texas, Houston Division", now how do u know it's a FBI and/or DOJ investigation ? Did you and your cohorts contacted FBI and DOJ ?
Your are a "wolf in sheep's clothing", if you bashed all the time, people would have recognized you and the board moderator would have deleted your messages. You are one of the best bashers around. You mixed up positive and negative messages, so nobody can call u a basher, but I suspect you are.
You are not that dumb, aren't you, Jagman ?
1,413,232 mcf = 1.413 billion of cubic feet, (m here stands for thousand), which is 0.22 mil boe of oil, so their total proved reserve is 0.22+0.88 = 1.1 mil boe, the mkt value should be $14X1.1 =$15.58 mil, their mkt cap, using $6.77 share price and 8.5 mil OS, is $6.77 X 8.5 = $57.5 mil, way over valued if you only consider the proved reserve. Wake up, sell your going nowhere fpp and buy ctum !!
Another perspective why ctum is cheap
From WMI'data, "The 31 projects that sell landfill gas as fuel to industrial users replace more than two million barrels of oil each year. "
Assuming 10 years of operation, 31 projects shall replace 20 mil barrels of oil, or, each site has 20/31 = 0.645 mil boe oil reserve. The current acquiring price for each barrel of oil under ground is about $14 (we all know it's going to be higher in the future), therefore each site is like an oil well with reserve worth of $14x0.645 (mil) = $9 mil. Now it costs ctum only $3 mil to start a plant on a site, thus, ctum spends 1/3 of market price to acquire energy resources.
In reality, those plants will operate 20, 30 years and the acquiring price for each barrel of oil will go up, so we are talking about getting energy resource at about 1/10 of the mkt price. Plus there there are many sites to go after.
Jagman, I don't think you can dispute my analysis.
Wow, even Jagman agrees, we are going up from here, LOL
Whoever WMI is using, WMI is going use ctum's tech, IMO, because it's better, did u read 10K ?
"We have had a number of inquiries from major landfill operators and are currently working with a major landfill company that is interested in installing our units on several of their landfills. The interested parties are waiting for the start-up of the Chastang site to make their decisions."
CEO said the cost will be recovered in 18 to 24 months, why u say they can only break even ? Even if only 10% of the landfills has plants nearby, we are still talking about big numbers here. This is just like opening stores: one succeeds, others will follow. WMI has 85 projects running, u think they are losing $$ on those projects ?
"WM currently supplies landfill gas to 85 beneficial-use projects in 25 states. The company's 54 gas-to-electricity projects provide more than 200 megawatts of energy, enough to power 215,000 homes. The 31 projects that sell landfill gas as fuel to industrial users replace more than two million barrels of oil each year. "
http://www.wastemanagement.com/wm/about/Overview.asp
ctum has better tech, lower starting cost, if WMI makes money, why can't ctum ?
Rev. from 215,000 homes = $600 x 210,000 = $129 mil
Rev. from 2 mil barrel of oil = $65 x 2 mil = 130 mil
Those are pie in the sky ?
Jagman, a company's value is based on future earnings, not the past or the present. You can have a company that makes tons of money currently, but it has little value (beyond its cash) if there is no future earnings. Ctum's contract with DD will generate $ 3 mil rev per year. They can setup 6 plants each year currently, so by the end of 2007, we'll have 13 plants and revenue about $40 mil per year. Since they are going to have WMI operate the plants, the operating cost is low. Let's give it a 20% profit margin, then the operating income will be $8 mil. Using a pe of 40, we will reach $320 mil mkt cap, or $11.4 per share. by then they will expand the capacity to setup plants and will grow fast from there. Think this as a Starbucks of the landfill gas. The sky is the limit: 3600 plants in America alone, that's a 10 billion mkt potential. World wide mkt potential is $30 billion at least. If you missed Starbucks, this is your second chance. Since their technology is better, so they should go after all the landfills, their opportunity is more like $45 billion world wide (assuming getting another 10% of the total mkt).
Looks like u made a killing in edex, don't get greedy, each time when all those .pk stocks fly, it's correction time.
Take profit from your other stocks, don't tell me u lost $ on all your investments. I sold some of my erhe.
Don't yeah yeah yeah me, I am the one who is still buying today and hold 1% of the total shares, if u r so sure, why don't u buy some today ?
picked up some shares at 0.22
very easy to fill, some big sellers are unloading. Ugly could become more ugly. 0.15 seems possible.
You don't want to buy at 0.17 ? heading towards 0.15 ?
Then 0.1, 0.05, 0.01 ? Where is the bottom Jagman ? This is really ugly.
anyone else has a sick feeling in his stomach ?
All the way down from $0.5, I was chasing all the way down. Looks like no one can fight the mkt.
Jagman, you want my 1/4 million shares at 0.17 ?, I may have to give up and sell to you at that price. This is more than I can handle. Every energy stock I follow jumps like crazy.
The mkt is saying I am a big fool right now holding this stock. Can't deny it.
$0.22 !!!, looks like some people are fed up with the slow pace in installing the pipes. This is a time to test patience. I hope I don't reach my limit and sell everything in panic.
Flipped some idcc, so my money in ctum today is free, I really don't care that much now. LOL
They finally showing it after 50 minutes delay.
Seems they heard my complain.
Thanks Steve1 for the reply, I thought that too:
MM is fliping shares: if someone sells at 0.26, they buy and then immediately sell to me at 0.27. Is this legal ?
there was a transaction at 12:55: $0.27
of 5k shares, and 0.27 was never showed on ask or bid side after my 12:16 purchase.
ctum mkt maker is bad
I placed an order to buy at 0.27 at 12:16 and that order was partially filled, I am still bidding at 0.27, yet, this bid has not been shown since 12:16, we are talking about 40 minutes here.
Ok, we know who were selling ctum now
Good luck with your buying at 0.22, it's not easy to get that many shares at that price, imo, especially when we are getting closer to the next big announcement.
stde claimed to have biofuel technology in their recent 10Q, what's why it jumped. It's a shame ctum has proved tech + DD as customer with less than 10 mil mkt cap. Saturday, Science channel had a program called "cool fuel", which showed a group of people were trying to travel across the country without gasoline. Part of it was that they recharged their battery with eletricity from LFG, it's really cool.
We are far from running out of oil, it's just production will not meet demand soon. For every 4 barrels of oil depleted, only one barrel of new oil found, it doesn't take a genius to figure out, we, humans, will have problems soon if we don't do something differently. Several years ago, the world have 6 mil barrels of cushion, now it's down to 1 mil barrels. As oil prices goes through the roof, coal and natural price are following. Our little gas company is in a very sweet spot.
I went through that list, some of them are new comers, some of them I was watching. I think ctum is the most undervalued and the best positioned one. A run similar to the one xsnx had is inevitable, imo. If xsnx worth $230 mil, I don't see why ctum not worth that much as well.
no guts, no glory, added more today
at 0.28
Mkt up big two days, oil $72, we, an energy company, went down,
although not unexpected, still not feeling well. People almost are all focus on near term events that may push the stock up. From the 10K, they are talking about negotiating with pipe companies to install the pipes, and all other LFG deals are depending on the DuPont deal. So people think any near term deals are unlikely, they are moving their money to other place to get "better" return.
I believe we will be at least over $1 by the year end, and that's a 300% return from here. I don't think I have a better place for my money.
Well, that being said, I am also frustrated by their slow pace to install those pipes. The deal was announced on Feb. 16, two months have passed, they still can't decide which pipe company to hire ? I am puzzled.

I don't share your gloom and doom view of the world. Entrepreneur and scientists will find solutions to solve energy problems and make lots of money. The study you qouted about ethanol energy imput/outout is from one study by a Cornell Professor, there are many other studies suggested otherwise.
Although I am very long on ctum, I don't think LFG is a solution to the fuel shortage for transportation as the world runs out of oil.

Hope their billion $ funds will pay attention to ctum one day.
