Good morning all,
Another lurker out of the closet. I've been quietly accumulating shares of Etim for sometime. I see a very stable company, and great business model with limitless potential in licensing deals and revenue streams. Happy to be in on the ground floor of this one.

Hello All! Quiet, my premium subscription expired, though got your PM..LOL!
LESSON to be learned from typing the wrong e-mail address:
A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a
particularly icy winter.
They planned to stay at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon
20 years before.
Because of their hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their
travel schedules.
So, the husband left Minneapolis and flew to Florida on Friday, and his
wife was flying down the following day.
The husband checked into the hotel, and unlike years ago, there was a
computer in his room,
and he decided to send an e-mail to his wife. However, he accidentally
left out one letter in her e-mail
address, and without noticing his error, sent the e-mail to the wrong
address.
Meanwhile... somewhere in Houston... a widow had just returned
home from her husband's funeral. He was a Minister who was called
home to glory after suffering a heart attack. The widow decided to
check her e-mail, expecting messages from relatives and friends.
After reading the first message, she screamed and then fainted.
The widow's son rushed into the room, found his mother on the
floor, and then glanced up and saw the computer screen which read:
To: My Loving Wife
Date: Friday, October 13, 2005
Subject: I have Arrived!
Dearest Love:
I know you are surprised to hear from me. They have computers
here now, and you are allowed to send e-mail to your loved ones.
I have just arrived and have been checked in. I see that everything
has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow, and look forward to
seeing you then. Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine was.
PS..... Sure is freaking hot down here!
Good Morning Coydog.
Glad you are feeling better and have maintained your sense of humor. PBLS is doing what it usually does on news.
Bcon has done well in the last 3 mos. and is taking a breather.

Happy 4th of July Everyone!!!
A big city lawyer went duck hunting in rural Tennessee. He shot and dropped
a bird, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of a fence. As
the lawyer climbed over the fence, an elderly farmer drove up on his tractor
and asked him what he was doing. The litigator responded, "I shot a duck
and it fell in this field, and now I'm going to retrieve it."
The old farmer replied, "This is my property, and you are not coming over
here."
The indignant lawyer said, "I am one of the best trial attorneys in the
United States and, if you don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take
everything you own."
The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we settle
disputes in Tennessee. We settle small disagreements like this; with the
'Three Kick Rule.'"
The lawyer asked, "What is the 'Three Kick Rule'?"
The Farmer replied, "Well, because the dispute occurs on my land, I get to
go first. I kick you three times and then you kick me three times and so on
back and forth until someone gives up."
The attorney quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided that he
could easily take the old codger. He agreed to abide by the local custom.
The old farmer slowly climbed down from the tractor and walked up to the
attorney. His first kick planted the toe of his heavy steel toed work boot
into the lawyer's groin and dropped him to his knees. His second kick to
the midriff sent the lawyer's last meal gushing from his mouth. The lawyer
was on all fours when the farmer's third kick to his rear end, sent him
face-first into a fresh cow pie.
The lawyer summoned every bit of his will and managed to get to his feet.
Wiping his face with the arm of his jacket, he said, "O'kay, you old fart.
Now it's my turn."
The old farmer smiled and said, "Nah, I give up. You can have the duck."
Coydog,
I think they should be turned over to let the other side bake.
A wise successful trader once told me.."If you want to trade stocks, you have to learn to play poker."

It's been a tough road and not over yet I'm sure.
Life is not fair in Pinky land nor anywhere else but sometimes
the playing field does get level.
take care,

Paul told us at the initial meeting in February 2006 after Katrina that the share count would be under 1 billion when they became transparent... I have no reason to think that statement is false.

We continue to stand by our first impressions of PBLS.

Our impressions of the PBLS meeting.
We liked the balanced growth strategy that maintains the construction side of the organization and expands the gas business for volume and oil for profitability.
We were impressed with Paul and his business model.
Paul was open with his spoken and body language that said, this is me, either believe me or not.
The questions he could not answer due to the sensitive nature of finishing the audits and submission to the SEC required to complete the upcoming move off the pinks to us, was totally understandable.
Before the ink is put down on paper, anything could change as he said. In our experience, often this does happen. He is being cautious..
The fact that Paul looks for professionals/experts in their respective field(s) to join his business (for example John Burge who joined PBLS through the ProGas acquisition)
is a wise strategy.
Johnny Zornes (Murphy Sand and Gravel)was as honest and open as Paul and quite informative regarding the operations and demand for their products. Seeing that only 20 acres of land has been cleared out of 820 acres tells us they are a cash cow whether they continue operations or sell the lease which we understand is for 18 yrs...(option)
If this was an act, Johnny should get an Academy Award for his role.
His admiration for Paul is apparent. Everyone at PBLS has a lot invested in seeing PBLS share price appreciate. Though as PBLS is currently buying back 100 million shares on and off the open market, keeping a lid on the PRs' is a also a wise move in our opinion. Why excelerate the price per share until they've finished?
We invest in management. A company is only as good as it's management.
We would have like to have had Ron at the meeting though appreciated the time Paul spent with us which was well over what we expected and the reception was very warm by him and all his staff. (We were expecting a tense atmosphere to be honest.)
We view this investment as a diamond in the rough.
If there is a downside to our investment here, it will be in the form of dusters that maybe struck on the oil wells being drilled in the north.
Have a nice day all.
Coydog,
We're a tough bunch... :)

Miko,
If one wants/needs income, to recieve a 6% dividend per year paid four times a year is a good return today well above what the banks payout on bonds.
Additionally, the company may not wait five years to pay $10 par value it could be sooner. The preferred issued shares are voting shares which at this point means little.
It is an individual preference. Some investors are splitting up their shares to partially take advantage of the offer and still have shares that are liquid.
Hope this helps.
td
Congratulations!
td
Nice. Very nice...

Here here.... :)

Will do.

Coydog et al... there will always be those who go out of their way to discredit someone who is successful trading stocks when they are not.
Who is this person anyway? A disgruntled investor? An MM? Someone who does not understand how quick changes can happen and did not react in time to herd mentality or a surprised PR?
Come on, anyone who needs hand holding should NOT be in the stock market trading, much less trading in pink stocks.
I think I speak for most when I say hard lessons are learned while learning to trade..you learn or lose.
I am sadden that you have chosen to leave this/your board. I came to this board shortly after you started it and it has been a haven for me of sorts from the rest of the garbage I wade through while looking for techniques in trading and explanations about technical analysis.
This is indeed a friendly board. No one is looking to take anyone to the cleaner. This in my view is a clearing house of thoughts and ideas.
Any other board that is started up will eventually entertain someone of the same caliber that has apparently succeeded in convincing you to leave, and if you do, they have won.
I am asking publicly that you reconsider your decision. If not, please including me on your next board. As many have stated here, I as well as them have learned volumes about trading and investing. I do not post much as the talent here is far beyond what I have felt worthy to offer.
Best regards to you in your decision either way.

I remember him saying he was under contract for five years.

Blitz,
Ameritrade is fine for my trading accounts. I have had no problems with their execution of my trades and for $9.99 per trade regardless of number of shares, I am happy with this service.
Perhaps you could keep your Scottrade account and open an Ameritrade account for your personal trading.
I have a broker as you do other than Ameritrade who handles other business for me who knows me personally as well. For me it's apples and oranges.
td
Doing great Coydog, thanks for asking!
I have no doubt Rover can handle whatever comes her way and then some..lol.

Good morning all,
Been busy most of the winter as a ski instuctor and haven't been trading much. Now that winters almost over I'm looking for that spring rally we love and need.
My 2 cents...BCON looks about to turn the corner though volume is absent.
I agree with asus that ETIM has some legs to go. Wish I had grabbed some before the rally. May take a position on a dip.
Still holding my free shares of SLJB though they aren't worth much now. Did Petar get his black and white striped suit yet?
Off work today due to inclement weather though I hear we may get a noreaster tomorrow.
Best to all.
td
Just for you Asus.
Mid Life Hits
It was fun being a baby boomer - until now.
Some of the artists of the 60's are revising their music hits
with new lyrics to accommodate baby boomers
once again in their golden years.
They include:
Herman's Hermits - - Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Walker
The Bee Gees -- How Can You Mend a Broken Hip.
Bobby Darin -- Splish, Splash, I Was Havin' a Flash.
Ringo Starr -- I Get By With a Little Help From Depends.
Roberta Flack -- The First Time Ever I Forgot Your Face.
Johnny Nash -- I Can't See Clearly Now.
Paul Simon -- Fifty Ways to Lose Your Liver
The Commodores -- Once, Twice, Three Times to the Bathroom.
Marvin Gaye -- Heard It Through the Grape Nuts.
Leo Sayer -- You Make Me Feel Like Napping.
The Temptations -- Papa's Got a Kidney Stone.
Mountain -- Denture Queen.
Tony Orlando -- Knock 3 Times On The Ceiling If You Hear Me Fall.
Helen Reddy -- I Am Woman, Hear Me Snore.
Willie Nelson -- On the Commode Again!!!
The PR was worthless IMO.

I needed a few days off work, but I knew the Boss would not allow me to
take a leave. I thought that maybe if I acted "CRAZY" then he would
tell me to take a few days off. So I hung upside down on the ceiling
and made funny noises.
My co-worker (who's blonde) asked me what I was doing.
I told her that I was pretending to be a light bulb so that the Boss
would think I was "CRAZY" and give me a few days off.
A few minutes later the Boss came into the office and asked "What are
you doing?" I told him I was a light bulb.
He said "You are clearly stressed out. Go home and recuperate for a
couple of days". I jumped down and walked out of the office.
When my co-worker (the blonde) followed me, the Boss asked her"...And
where do you think you're going?" She said, "I'm going home too, I can't
work in the dark!"
Very sad to watch.

Don't you dare...lol!!!

Hi Chilar, yes I do still have my pebble from the pit.
I keep it in my jewelry box. Betty Rubble doesn't part with her treasures...lol.
I've always looked at an initial time frame of two years with an assessment at the end of that time. I'm fine with the direction Paul and Ron are going. Clan is well and busy.

Just wanted to say Happy New Year to everyone.
I know I haven't posted much though I continue to read the board and monitor the businesses growth. I did send in my certs for the 3 cent buyback when the price fell, and received my checks with a slight delay. That action by PBLS told me what I wanted to know and I rebought shares at a much discounted price.
I am confident that my investment is a wise one and I will revisit PBLS again at some point hopefully at the shareholders meeting. I know many went into SLJB (I as well invested though sold off some and currently own free shares )and some investors felt the SLJB management was far superior to PBLS and so it did seem. Now however, in my opinion, they are a trainwreck in motion that keeps switching tracks out of control. I sincerely hope that SLJB will pull it's self together for the sake of the investors who have put their money and faith in a supposed 35 year old company.
I feel that this will be a very good year for PBLS and they will deal with the issues gagged TA, audited financials and the shorts efficiently and effectively.
Best to all,
td
Happy Holidays Everyone!
I don't post much though try to read this board often. I have good friends here.
I wish for all good health, quiet moments of peace and days that remind you of times that made you have big belly laughs.
(I recently was reminded of times by a childhood friend I have once again hooked up with after a nine year absence.) Time is a commodity to be used wisely.
Oh yes, and one more wish for lots of wealth in being stealthy in the market in 2007.
Best Rgds,

Yes, good suggestion.
Happy Holidays All.

A teacher asked her class, "What do you want out of life?"
A little girl in the back row raised her hand and said, "All I want out of life is four little animals, just like my Mom always says".
The teacher asked, "Really and what four little animals
would that be?"
The little girl said, "A mink on my back, a jaguar in the garage, a tiger in the bed and a jackass to pay for all of it."
The teacher fainted...
