Walldog...LOL I'm sure you do!
vip...I suppose I really am in the'old' category. In fact, 70 years old today. By selling in the mid '80's' hopefully, I intend to get some enjoyment out of this while I still can.
I didn't appreciate Walldog referring to me as 'granny' 8 years ago because it was meant to be derogatory,...now I don't really care what anyone calls me...I just want some money to blow! LOL
Of course I'm annoyed! But if I say it, as you just did, everyone on this board will call me a basher.
That was a mistake! I absolutely should have. eom
Don't worry be happy! When ERHE hits the mid .80's I'll be gone with my thousands while you wait ad infinitum for your millions.
Tryoty...I AM NOT A BASHER! Just a disgusted EXTREMELY long time investor. And as I said in my last sentence MAYBE things are AT LAST going to change.
If you are honest, you know that over the past years there has been anticipation after anticipation with posters saying such things as WE ARE GOLDEN, TO THE MOON, etc, etc, etc, only to be let down time after time. Even walldogs famous 'signs' must all be gathering rust by now.
Tryoty...12 years is 12years! eom
Indeed! Eleven and a half long years for me. I certainly never anticipated that when I first bought the stock. Longest stock I've ever held!
A great post in my opinion! eom
Midtieroil...Actually, I wasn't referring to acquisitions or recent bank events in my response to BB. I have been here (invested) since November of 1997 and have seen the 'ineptness' I referred to during different periods during that time.
Hopefully, things are about to change for the better.
BB...As a fellow Michigander, I can certainly appreciate your comparisons (especially since I am a recipient of my recently reduced deceased husband's pension from Chrysler).
Having held ERHC's stock for so many years, I can also understand why you seldom post here any longer. It has been very discouraging to have a management that has been quite inept.
When have they NOT been very quiet? The only thing making noise are the people on this board!
How crazy is this? Someone buys an odd number like 6,798! Ninety eight? Nothing about the trading recently makes any sense!
We've known about 'drilling' and a 'rig' for some time now. Why especially this morning is the SP and volumn going up?
Something has certainly stimulated interest this morning. Anyone know what that may be?
Someone seems to be keeping a very tight reign on the SP and amount traded.
Shareholders (otherwise known as peons) have never been kept in the loop with this company up to this point. Will that change? I have my doubts unless they are swallowed up (bought out?) by another company. If it Chinese...doubtful. If the SP rises above .85, I will be gone.
Of course ERHC would say they are pleased...if they didn't what do think would have happened to the SP? Instant plunge! Maybe they are pleased. I don't know.
WOW...All the negativity today! Complete turnaround from yesterday. I think I agree with the poster who kept saying...NOBODY KNOWS NUTTIN'.
It seems this morning, so far anyway, that no one is willing to pay .658 for the stock. All the excitement has faded for the time being. Well, I've waited for almost 12 years what's a few more months!
As the article I mentioned here before stated, China is holding billions in US currency and to just dump the dollars would not only send the US economy into a catastrophic tailspin, but the rest of the world as well. A much better plan, which still gets rid of the dollars but not so visibly is to buy up companies, preferably natural resources and commodities (ie, oil, gold etc:)still accomplishing the dumping of dollars. Will China end up controlling the world? Time will tell.
China is following it's usual recent pattern of buying up American (or partly American companies) with what the Chinese are considering 'toxic' US dollars. A good trade for them...getting rid of money that is worth less and less and accumulating companies!
When I saw the news, I had that same anxiety. Didn't post about it though as most here object to anything from me that doesn't go along with the crowd mentality. Perhaps our concerns are unjustified. Time will certainly tell.
I must say...this really stinks! Who's doing what to cause the SP to drop like this? Over the years I've seen it happen too many times to count, but when so close to drilling??? Shouldn't be happening.
A very interesting article on China buying up Natural Resources as a way of getting out of the US dollar.

I'm sure you mean 'holding' and not 'folding'. LOL
Someone is certainly trying hard to hold the SP down. I wonder how long before that becomes impossible.
Well...that was really misleading!!!
This seems very weird...bouncing back and forth by the minute between a .025 and .03 difference.
You are absolutely correct in your assessment of the situation!
Being invested since 1997, I MOST CERTAINLY, care when drilling starts. The sooner the better!
What are your expectations based on? Anything specific, or just a gut feeling?
tryoty...I have the same concerns. We have been through so many rumors over the years that one cannot help but be wary.
I don't understand what's going on today. Is no one willing to pay more than .475? That doesn't make sense. Are buys lined up at .475 and not being processed? Since there's an ask of .475, I don't understand that either.
How about just leaving the word 'soon' off. Example: There will be a PR forthcoming. And don't be so critical. Others have expressed the same thought here.
There's that word again...SOON. Too bad there's not a definitive definition for it. A few hours, days, weeks, etc.
I would be satisfied with .05 each trading day for the rest of the summer. Probably wishful hoping.
Krombacher...I agree Michigan is in bad shape. I did live in another state until my husband was killed in an accident 14 years ago. Then I moved back. Most of my remaining family is here.
The state of the economy doesn't affect my view of ERHC as I
fortunately don't have to seek work. At this point in time I am hopeful that ERHC will finally come through.
If you take the time...you will notice that I was asked by the two people I addressed. I'm just as tired of posting that as you are of reading it. So why read it?
marty260 and THEDANE...Every time someone new comes to this board, I'm asked this question. I think I should just do a cut and paste. When I invested 11 1/2 years ago this was not an exploration company it was a remediation company doing business in the US and I thought it sounded like a good business. When the company changed it's focus there was a lot of hype, people taking about what a 'gold mine' it was, and I bought more and more. Many expectations failed to happen and I became disallusioned. Things finally look more hopeful. Been a long time now.(Also when I bought the original shares they were approx. $3.50. I don't remember the exact figure now as I sold those at a loss a couple of years ago. Now everything I have is under $1.)
THE END. LOL
What brought that on?
