Some people are saying the feel foolish holding long. Here's why you shouldn't. Encryption is the future of security for computers. It takes heavier computational load vs. an anti-virus. That's why the 1990's and early 2000's saw that boom of security companies. Now however, a smartphone is far more powerful than that:

In theory with encryption. A pocket sized computer (which is what a smartphone is). One can have an infected OS (operating system). Say their android software on their Galaxy smartphone and never have to care as an update to the software anti-virus will detect it and delete it (most smartphones come pre-installed with some free anti-virus.
Put another way. If the keyboard is encrypted and every app is encrypted and one has taken the care to encrypt personal folders. The hacker will have formulate another piece of software (i.e. virus) to get past that before the update occurs. For each individual app. This is unlikely to happen because:
They can't see the password or user name being typed in for that app (this is what keyboard encryption does). Once the hacker realizes you have encryption. Especially on keyboard input. They give up. It's like sneaking onto a property with bull dogs (the anti-virus sniffing for break in). Barely making it to the garage - the OS. Silently breaking the window (finding that good app they want to steal information from - say a mobile banking app) to a million dollar car. And finding. No steering wheel.
No hacker waits around with such a headache. Most Governments would struggle with such work on their hands.
To give a real life example. I use MobileTrust on my smartphone. My form of communication via text and call is with Whatsapp and Signal. Both of which are encrypted texting and talk services.
The NSA (to give an example) can intercept what is being communicated because they can hack a smartphone's OS between the keyboard and app in question. In other words, if one use's MobileTrust in union with such an app? You are on par with what is available to a civilian in terms of security.
Nothing else comes close to encryption. It is progressive in protection. Everything else has to react to an attack and is reflective of attacks in the past.
Overall, this company starting up in 2001 was ahead of its time. Now with everyone carrying around such powerful devices in their pockets? One can bet brokers, bankers, lawyers, etc. will want the best. Actually, more abruptly said? MobileTrust is the only real option for smartphones and we've been using them for years.
Big names have stayed under a dollar for years before being recognized. Microsoft, Apple, etc. Don't get left in the dust. Take a chance here. You'll regret it otherwise. History says so in this sector.
