Realistically, there are several reasons why this movie will, not can but WILL make loads. Here's just a few, feel free to add.

1. Die Hard Rambo fans
2. Lack of good R-Rated films
3. Lack of good violent films
4. Gorefest, there's many people out there who will watch this purely for the gore
5. Look at 300 and how well it did
6. Pissed off Die Hard fans
7. People who love the 80s, there's a lotta them
8. Something different for a change, less and less people are going to theatres nowadays, there's so many fantasy/comic book kiddie films many people are just waiting for a film actually worth watching THAT IS NOT LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE!

Family Room Entertainment Corporation has announced that principal photography for Jessica Simpson's Major Movie Star has started in Shreveport, Louisiana. Family Room Entertainment Corporation's wholly owned subsidiary, Emmett/Furla Films, is providing producing services in connection with the picture which is being co-produced and financed by a third party, Millennium Films.

The film centers on a pampered star (Simpson) who decides to enlist in the Marines to win approval from a producer and a studio who considers her unsuitable for an upcoming military-themed movie.

Upon arriving at Camp Pendleton, she realizes she's made a mistake but decides to persist so she won't let her country down.

Steve Miner, who directed the Emmett/Furla Films production, Day of the Dead, will direct this picture.
