My take is that at least they tested it.
I was thinking that the sale of the two blimps may have been a favor.
But it is terrible news for the hopefull, no two ways about it.
Maybe they should fly the second one and try to find it or Argus?
LOL
"Replacement order" ?
That really takes the cake.
What has been presented to us to think that GTC would be a lifeblood for us?
Supposedly better?
Says who?
After several years of you associating GSAT to WSGI. I can confidently say: no doubt it will not.
but of course it does
You are correct. I'm impressed that you know this.
Frankly, the guy came accross as a jerk, there was a ton of excitement back then and I did not want to believe him. So I never used the information and did not consider myself an insider.
But I did heed what he said about this board. That I believed, he just knew too much.
I never read that post. When I said he's not who he said he is I was not actually thinking of an actual guy with a name and an email, I was thinking of some insider with a screen name.
But I did not see those posts so I never got his name or his email. I have no reason to doubt you so my suspicions are wrong.
I met who I met that night, he was right on with the future at the time and I have no reason to not believe the other stuff he told me. I guess it made me suspicious.
If I may butt in:
You have on more than one occasion mentioned that you have met or had a meeting with officer's of the company. As well as mentioning how you work for a company that may be doing business with this company.
So I suspect that readers of the board, right or wrong, hold you to being, for lack of a better word, an insider.
So I guess it can be taken that when you repeatedly post how wonderful the company is, how their product can be sold to every platoon, how smart the officer's are, etc., you don't have to spell it out in words that you think the SP will go higher. It's a given.
Frankly, and I have a valid reason to think so, I'm wondering if you are who you say you are. No offence meant. My reason to think so was a general warning a few years back from an individual and has nothing to do with you.
Hey, but what do I know? I'm just a small time retail investor who came accross this stupid company 13 years ago who later was lucky to meet someone who knew everything what Huff was up to and everything else.
This board is great.
Gee, how many shares did you buy?
It's not being a doubter. It's BEing REAl.
I find your posts quite a refreshing alternative to the horde of contracts are coming and how talented this company is posts. Nothing but false hopes.
If you have time you should look into that post I sent you regarding the company that developed that AI monitoring program.
I don't see the difference if a camera is up on a balloon or on a telephone pole.
See my post from the other day. This company has developed an AI sytstem to monitor video so there are no clowns.
Have you got wind of this private company who developed an artificial intelligence surveillance system?
Teaming agreements seem to make you folks happy so I thought I would share this. Seems to me that it would be a potential relationship.

BRS Labs Investor Update
January 30, 2013
Dear BRS Investor,
You may have seen the press release we sent out a couple of months ago about our partnership with Alava to cover the EU market.
With sponsorship from the US Commercial Service at the US Embassy in Madrid Spain, we successfully launched our expansion into the European market yesterday at an event with over 300 members of the European security community.
In attendance:
• Directors of Security for the Madrid transit system
• Spanish Government security officials
• The US State Department security teams from several countries
as well as major partners including:
• Alava Engineering
• Indra
• and others
The US Commercial Service at the US Embassy in Madrid broadcast this event to 19 other US Embassies as part of an effort to assist in the advancement of BRS Labs throughout Europe.
Additionally, over 30 members of the European press were in attendance. BRS projects in advanced development highlighted at this event include surveillance enhancement projects at:
• The Cairo Egypt Transit System
• The Panama Canal
• City wide surveillance projects in Barcelona, Rome, and others.
As we advance forward with our award winning AiSight surveillance software, we are expecting to continue working with the US Commercial Service to rapidly expand AiSight to markets and Embassies around the world. There is no better endorsement for our product than the US Government on the world stage and no better way to position our success than with the US State Department as our partner!
The following is a translated version of a news article that ran in national papers yesterday:
Over 300 attendees looked on as Alava and the US State Department demonstrates how AISight is used in the field.
"It works like a brain observes, learns and responds," was stressed in the presentation on Tuesday in Madrid. "We believe AISight can provide excellent results in the field of banking, utilities and the security forces, especially the police," said a director Infodefensa.com Area Security Company.
Alava Ingenieros Markets AISight, the New Video Analysis Solution from BRS Labs
Alava Ingenieros presented AISight, the intelligent recognition system for behavioral surveillance operations that provides real-time alerts to suspicious activity developed by the U.S. company BRS Labs (Behavioral Recognition Systems).
Alava Ingenieros has organized an event at Casa de America in Madrid to present the technology of the firm BRS Labs, which markets in Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar and Andorra under an agreement with the U.S. surveillance software company. This intelligent system for behavior recognition in video surveillance operations provides real-time alerts to unexpected or suspicious activity.
The system uses cognitive reasoning (via machine learning engines) to process visual information at a level similar to the human brain. This is a totally revolutionary solution to the security sector, based on video analysis systems using intelligent learning t detect threats and generating timely alerts in real time. It applies to critical infrastructure protection, public safety, transportation and logistics applications, among other areas. This system is highly automated artificial intelligence, supports a wide variety of network cameras and dramatically improves visibility in organizations seeking real-time recognition of threats.
AISight is installed and from the first minute begins to learn what is normal The system produces information for situational awareness in a few days without programming or any human intervention. AISight can be installed in thousands of cameras from multiple locations. Operators-Users receive real-time alerts of unusual or suspicious activity to isolate any potential threats and make decisions quickly and accurately. This capability improves situational awareness in organizations who are seeking to recognize potential threats in real time. This security solution is applicable to critical infrastructure protection, public safety, transportation and logistics applications, etc.
Main advantages:
* Increased efficiency
* Reduction of false alarms
* Cost reduction
* Increase the level of situational awareness to combat crime and terrorism
AISight is the first and only product that increases the value of the security infrastructure by bringing truly advanced artificial intelligence to video surveillance. Security forces can now recognize potential threats faster, more accurately and efficiently allowing them to respond to danger in real-time.

re a private company called
we're a blue chip
indyblue,
Since this board has been created, whenever someone mentions an alternative to the contracts are coming mentality, it causes irk.
I'm referring to post like yours, not the "company is a scam" posts
You are not jaded. You are realistic. I have been hearing it for over a decade. Only results will excite me now.
It's always some reason other than the company cannot sell anything for the stock price being where it is. LJC, Market Makers, naked shorts, etc.
Not saying that it not a factor, but if the company could start to support itself, then I'm sure the price would not be 2 cents.
A neighbor of mine is a captain in the Marines, responsible for base security. He thinks that they are going away from aerostats and similar equipment. How long has it been since the YUMA & Nevada tests and how successful they were?
Good day brother.
You read but do not follow.
I am not talking about such deep issues. All of which I am in agreement with you.
I am simply thinking of a situation where law enforcement finds itself in a shoot to kill situation. That is not a "dream". It does happen. Would a drone save lives? That's my point.
You are ignoring the fact that this lack of due process already happens in the circumstanses we are talking about. The drone is just a weapon that could be used to save the lives of policemen. We have to trust the leaders who were voted in office that are forced to make those tough decisions in these cases.
You should not forget that this happens on both sides. Those in power will abuse it.
Remeber what happened to the CIA operative who was exposed because of what she wrote or husband wrote about Iraq. Forgot her name....Valerie ________?
Did you read my post from the other day?
He offers nothing but knocks against the government. no solutions. Government is not perfect, but what's the alternative? It fine if you believe that the Union should be disbanded to the fifty states. People don't want to hear it, because there is a Rand Paul in all of us. After all, who likes paying taxes? Politicians like him appeal to the human animal in us. Why do you think conservative talk radio is so popular?
On the particular issue, if some wacko has hostages and killing them.....I don't know why his type has a problem with a drone vs. a special police squad taking the wacko out with a machine gun. Seems to me the drone would save lives. Someone has to give the order to shoot to kill, if the situation is perfect for a drone and the hostages are out of harms way, what's the difference?
He's actually quite dangerous.
I know it's greatly simplied, but for me I try to look at the big picture. Do you believe in humans living in a free society or do you believe humans should live in conditions of warlords and dictators where it's everyman for himself.
I choose a free society. That means we need to govern ourselves in a modern age of information, world trade, all with the bad human element that's in us all. That means laws, some of which may be found offensive, but that choice I make.
Are you conveniently not considering the part about public danger?
Who's playing god?
What's the difference if that ex LA cop was taken out by a drone instead of that cabin being stormed by policemen? One of the officers is dead and another was shot trying to capture that nut.
Jeessh, someone throw hot coffee in my face!
I just think you have to assume that it will assist in killing. Directly or not, I don't see the diffrence.
Unintended killing is a fact of War. IF we are not up to it, then we should not go to war. It's bad enough we have a voluntary army to do our dirty work.
So why do these Tea Party nuts have a problem if we use a drone against a US citizen who may become a enemy combatant. Paul keep harping on the CIA nominee that he won't say "no" to using a drone on a US citizen. What if this happens..............
Some group of nuts take over some village, are killing hostages and won't surrender? What's so unethical of using a drone to kill them?
I consider myself liberal, but that does not mean I'm going to lie down and let our enemies destroy our way of life. We need a military, the military needs weapons. If the BIB ban be used to kill our enemy then great.
And by the way, the enemy are very bad people. If they feel justified in shooting little girls in the face for wanting to be educated...good riddance to them.
I cannot understand this position. I am sure that the BIB, if put in use, will take part in a search and kill mission. Why does the search part not bother you too?
The BIB could spot a false target then troops radio the position to a bomber or armed drone, then innocents are killed. Is that OK?
And very well versed in wall street speak too.
I use the player/faker reference as winner/loser, not real/scam.
It's common in sport talk when discussing who are the teams in mid-season who will be make it to the dance at the end.
I would think that most everyone would agree that there is a need for this equipment. Surveillance is everywhere you turn. I am constantly seeing it's demand and applications. Just trying to decide if this company is a player or a faker in the field.
Even a high risk bet like this would warrant some basic and reasonable questions. It not everyday that I would throw out a few bucks on a insolvent company. Even if I can afford to lose it you would think I am nuts if I took a twenty from my wallet and ripped it up.
