This lease is right in the heart of the Bakken formation, which the DOE themselves have stated is the largest oil find in the U.S. in 56 years!

I'm sure most have seen this, but if not a new board set up and first order of business is for everyone to buy $500 worth of NVMG and see how much % can be made. Expect a lot of $500 trades Monday. Board just put up and has 123 boardmarks and 200+ posts.

Someone as in an individual trader/investor putting in a six-figure market order so they could buy it at ridiculously high prices over the ask?? Maybe so, but seems awful desperate. I guess if there was no need for any short covering that could happen. But realistically those shares bought in that 5 minute time frame could have been purchased at a much lower price the rest of the trading day.
Great summary. Thanks. eom
Seems like the sudden interest by the MM's to buy GTC orders up to .90 might say a few things. They need shares or they need to cover or they want to manipulate the chart or they think the SP is headed much higher or a combination of these thoughts. One of the statements in the CEO email stood out to me.
"The market maker got wacked with a stick and after I think the lady VP realized we are on the Pink Sheets because we want to be, that we arent selling stock (yes an offer to buy our stock was made and rejected by us.. let them go buy it the same way our investors do) and we are actually a real oil company doing real oil company stuff and making a profit. I think… I hope she went away with an whole new outlook regarding Hemi… if not, at least she knows we have a stick and arent afraid to use it and we are best to be avoided if they are going to play with our investors."

Large well-known Pink Sheet Stocks........
Coulson’s effort, though, may get a boost if the SEC refuses to exempt smaller companies from the financial-reporting requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. If so, many more small companies will likely delist from the stock exchanges and move to the pink sheets to avoid the costs of compliance.
Several large foreign companies already avoid SEC oversight and follow their home countries' financial reporting requirements. That list includes Volkswagen (VLKAY, news, msgs), Nestle (NSRGY, news, msgs), Heineken (HINKY, news, msgs) and Lukoil (LUKOY, news, msgs).
Samsung is also a pink sheet.

Oil Prices Rise Above $61 a Barrel
Friday February 23, 8:38 am ET
By George Jahn, Associated Press Writer
Oil Prices Rise Above $61 a Barrel, Extending Earlier Gains on U.S. Inventory Data
VIENNA, Austria (AP) -- Oil prices rose Friday, extending gains registered the previous day after a U.S. snapshot of energy inventories revealed a surprising drop in U.S. gasoline and heating oil supplies.
Tension between Western powers and Iran also boosted energy prices. The U.N. nuclear watchdog reported Thursday that Iran -- OPEC's No. 2 supplier -- is still refusing to end uranium enrichment, in defiance of the Security Council.
Light, sweet crude for April delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose 22 cents to $61.17 in electronic trading by afternoon in Europe. The contract price jumped 88 cents a barrel on Thursday, continuing a rally that analysts said has largely been driven by demand for petroleum products.
Brent crude for April rose 42 cents to $61.04 a barrel by midday Friday on London's ICE Futures Exchange.
U.S. crude inventories climbed 3.7 million barrels to 327.6 million barrels in the week ending Feb. 16, the Energy Information Administration said Thursday. But what stoked the market's advance were gasoline inventories falling by 3.1 million barrels to 222.1 million barrels, and distillates, which include heating oil and diesel, dropping by 5 million barrels to 128.3 million barrels.
Analysts were expecting, on average, a modest rise in crude oil and gasoline inventories and a smaller drop in distillates.
"Cold temperatures and refinery maintenance in the U.S. are seen to be responsible for the considerable stock draw," said Vienna's PVM Oil Associates. The high demand has been sparked by chilly weather and snowstorms in the Northeast and Midwest regions of the United States. Distillate fuel demand was nearly 10 percent higher over the past four weeks than it was over the same period last year, the EIA said.
Supplies remain relatively ample -- U.S. crude, gasoline and heating oil stockpiles are at or above the average range for this time of year, the EIA said.
Natural gas futures fell nearly 12 cents to $7.609 per 1,000 cubic feet on the Nymex and heating oil rose more than a penny to $1.7395 a gallon.
Tetsu Emori, the chief commodities strategist with Mitsui Bussan Futures in Tokyo, said it was likely oil prices would remain within a tight range of $57 to $62 a barrel in the coming days.
Associated Press writer Tanalee Smith in Singapore contributed to this report.

NVMG U.S. Department of Interior Approves 2 Oil & Gas Leases/ Funding Update
2/21/2007 4:28:33 PMFOREST HILLS, N.Y., Feb 21, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Native American Energy Group, Inc. (the "Company" or "NAEG") (OTC Pink Sheets: NVMG), an independent energy company, today announced the approval of 2 Oil & Gas leases by the U.S. Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs consisting of a combined 240 acres. U.S. DOI Contract No. 14-20-0256--541 on Tract No. M 3984-A and Contract No. 14-20-0256-0542 on Tract No. M 1838-B are located in the Williston Basin and are consistent with NAEG's other recent targeted acquisitions.
Funding Update: On Dec. 14, 2006 the Company announced an agreement had been reached for $5,000,000 in funding. The slight delay in receiving the first tranche is due to the size of the transfer and the fact that it is US dollars first going through the Federal Reserve System and the necessary clearances of the Patriot Act and Homeland Security before being forwarded to a law firm's escrow account in Canada. This is normal procedure.
Officers and directors, Joseph D'Arrigo, Raj Nanvaan and Richard Ross of Native American Energy Group met with "the Lender" and more than 50 business leaders in a 3-day Planning Conference that was held in Las Vegas February 16-18, 2007. The meetings pertained to matters relating to joint ventures, future expansion, the $5 Million funding specifically for NAEG, and additional funding for our joint projects. Our lender did confirm that the money has already been sent.
Shareholder and investor inquiries should be addressed to ir@nativeamericanenergy.com.
All material developments and vital releases will be put out in the form of press release, filing, and/or independent research report on the company. NAEG's previous achievements can be accessed on the Investor Relations page.
Safe Harbor Statement: This News Release may include forward-looking statements within the meaning of section 27A of the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and section 21E of the United States Securities & Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, with respect to corporate objectives, projections, estimates, operations, acquisition and development of various interests and certain other matters. These statements are made under the "Safe Harbor" provisions of the United States Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995 and involve risks and uncertainties which could cause actual results to differ materially from those in the forward-looking statements contained herein.

Generalized oil and gas map of Kansas
Excellent slide/graphic presentation of Kansas Enhanced Oil Recovery Project (Sample slide)
Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) is a generic term for techniques for increasing the amount of oil that can be extracted from an oil field. Using EOR, 30-60 %, or more, of the reservoir's original oil can be extracted compared with 20-40 % using primary and secondary recovery.
Enhanced oil recovery is also called improved oil recovery or tertiary recovery (as opposed to primary and secondary recovery).

The desorption diagrams above are from two wells in adjacent counties in the Cherokee basin. The deepest coals in Montgomery County (to the west) register gas contents from 250 to 300 scf/ton. The same coals in Labette County (to the east) are buried less deeply, and they have gas contents considerably less than the Montgomery County coals

The geological formations under Hemi's leases, known as James Lime, Cotton Valley and Travis Peak, are the same formations that are under the major gas field that is now only approximately four miles to the north in Shelby County.
In the past these leases have had two producing gas wells, but because of economic reasons they were abandoned in the 1970s. Major oil companies have been developing and producing these natural gas fields for over five years which started approximately 15 miles away and have been steadily trending toward the Hemi leases. Currently new gas wells are being drilled approximately 4 miles north. The width of the proven gas reserves in these geological formations are narrow, being only 5 to 10 miles wide. The average gas well in this major gas field in Shelby County typically produces over 2,000 MCF per day 2(mMCF) or gross revenue of approximately $360,000 per month. These gas wells and gas fields have common characteristics of a slow rate of decline in gas production and have an economically viable life of over ten years.

Why would they SIGNAL? Unsolicited, not Pink-Link qualified, no ACT....it's all done by phone...why not just talk?
MM SIGNALs all just a bunch of crap. On OTC and Naz all those little trades are partials and auto fills.
MSFT has about a zillion "SIGNALs" a day.
Very nice. Great work!!! eom...
This is an example of what you can get when you figure out the interface. I have combined the legend into the image to help with the big picture. Couple of gas wells very close.
