indeed, that would explain alot of tsy methodology being witnessed.
so in others words the committee hasnt been supervising at all?
incredible as in face slap or incredible thumbs up?
Sore bum bum.
Indeed. What s more, it s evident that there is one or maybe two dudes in the admin transmitting instructions to BO and Lew. Weiss definitely being one of them. Someone or something behind Weiss is the wizard of oz. Lazard via perhaps Berkshire Hathaway being two guesses.
Watch the interview below. Weiss pulled the strings in the Heinz 3i Berkshire deal. Listen to him gush at Berkshire permanent capital/ investment approach. Warren has been making major RE in roads for a few years now. He loves sticky easy consistent money inflows. A renters market that Berkshire controls would be ideal to cement his legacy. It would be too coincidental that shortly after (less than a year) the heinz deal Weiss is recommended to treasury becoming counsel to Lew cmon.

Up would be better.
thanks.
the interesting facial and body language of Lew and his staffer behind him (between 15 secs and 26 secs) is truly cringeworthy. Notice how the staffer, when Lew turns to him in that 'pls help' moment, looks around then bends forward as if fumbling for some sort of invisible answer sheet. Then said staffer pops back up and gives Capuano the sourest scorned bureacrat look the human face can pull.
Someone needs to splice this Capuano reply to the cnbc squawk box from a few weeks ago where lew claims fnf have NOT repaid.
Does anyone recall which testimony it was exactly where Lew was asked if Tsy had been repaid? It was when Lew turns around to mutter a question to his colleague behind him, and then he turns forward and replies sheepishly that... he believes so...
Indeed. Also, Weiss was NOT green lighted for Tsy office (he would have been 3rd ranking) by Congress in January of this year.
Instead, he simply circumvented this by becoming personal counsel to Lew directly. Now, Weiss makes official statements representing treasury of the USA! Is that creative or what?
Weiss spent years and years at Lazard, making partner (in four short years) after he began in 1994. It would beg the question, what are his ultimate motives re the GSEs? Are his loyaties to the American people or Lazard?
Weiss' latest remarks.

nice FUD, bud.
Hey! U da man...thank s for all those docs. I feel blind with out them
anyone know what happened to Dollars1? He used to post interesting info.
looking forward to it, ill most definitely be here for 4 months.
if that happens i will call you master. srsly. masterstockman1010101
i have scant knowledge as to the type of gent Egbert is. From having watched the few youtubes he is in, i dont think he would risk his development business due to his role at fannie. no idea beyond that though.
dont forget to read or re read this order from the Sweenmeister.

Yea, would be nice to have access to it. Cheers.
Does anyone know if and/or when Egbert Perry, Fannie Chairman, gets deposed or some such? Also, what kind of a gentleman/personality is he? Google says he is a developer born on Antigua.
you r not alone. the thought has been crossing my mind today.
Risky should be happy, gaps from october 14 filling.
well said. also sketchy how corker says to short and a month or so later this happens. things that make you go hmmmmm. i mean, he really must have had inside info because it would be an erroneous innocuous statement if the price had remained flat or increased. but pps since has been routed.
good thing your not in charge.
interesting paragraph from CC
Last quarter’s credit spreads tightened, we have mirror benefit in the opposite direction of a similar magnitude it was a $700 million gain. All in all, despite strong adverse market moves our net loss was only a fraction the 28% I previously mentioned of what would be needed to cause a draw and we therefore ended the quarter with a positive net worth of $1.3 billion. I will also note that we continued to be profitable year-to-date earnings $4.2 billion and returning $4.7 billion to tax payers through dividends.
Can anyone clarify as to why the 'derivative loss' and why now? Which execs of the company make the hedging decisions and why and when did they decide to make said hedges?
So this comprehensive housing finance reform, besides being a useful smoke grenade phrase, what does the admin even consider this to be? Have they ever even explained what they would consider valid as a solution for them? Also, the admin bypasses and hurdles congress at every opportunity regarding other matters yet fnf needs to be solved by congress? Why?
cships are supposed to be independent. So by claiming to hand the issue to a glacially slow congress are they buying time and impartiality in their version of events? Lastly, is the admin entertaining the idea of handing fnf to the next admin in the event of a dem victory? lots of ?s.
would a patient still agree to V after this provided they re informed on the fda comments? personally id demand anything but V even if not cirrhotic.
yep. promising imo, for parkinsons off conditions and the optimal dosing would prevent the chance of a dyskenisia episode which can occur from the apokyn injection dose. Cyna s oral strip would also be far more convenient as it s an under the tongue strip. strip beats an injection when you can t move i reckon. some good backers like adage and orbimed.
these guys are stuck on repeat. Sweeney will be the decider.
Lew on squawk box just now when asked by sorkin on what s up with fnma. Seems like Lew is not coming around to a release and relist mind frame. He also still believes there to be a 240 bill dollar liability outstanding for the treasury. also, that the idea is to decrease taxpayer risk not increase it, which is what he believes a release and relist would do. that basically ending the conservatorship is not the right thing at this time as he feels congress has been trying but needs more work in figuring out a proper outcome.
oh jack, that s so 2010.
on squawk box she was making a point out of the affordability and simplicity of their tests. on a brief visit to the website, however, only one is a couple bucks like she mentioned on tv. blood urea nitrogen for 2.72. great.
she was just being idolized on squawk box, what, 3 weeks ago.
thanks for the link. been looking closer at TRIL where new CMO Eric Sievers formally of SGEN, and independent director Thomas Reynolds former CMO at SGEN, potentially bring some valuable experience, imo.
but what s more impressive is that scientific discoverers are Dr. John E. Dick and Dr. Jean Wang.
classic.

indeed and agreed. hard to catch the leak but they need to try somehow. for heavens sake. maybe go back over the trades and see which market moving investor precipitated the drop. start there.
and of course news leaked, media made a meal out of (possibly) nothing, and the SEC did not a dang thing. amazing
at least something is green over here today. anyone tell me what the largest single block trade was today?
I m with you 100 percent on your reply. Since july 27th, aug 24th, and subsequently Sept 21 when hillary tweeted, maintaining the bio portfolio has been like herding cats on fire running toward the grand canyon. Good is bad, bad is bad, and even a hair of optimism is doused with an ocean of ice water.
Regarding RDUS, i cant tell if you r serious or not since it is a 2.3 bill dollar company so not 'value' in the classic non bio investor sense. However, if the data was nt one of those false positive doo doo presentations wrapped in roses it could be value again based on the size of the osteoporosis market. Full disclosure ive never owned the stock and i m not all too familiar with it but it has corrected ferociously.
is the new trend for bios to tank for days on good data or is the data not that good regarding RDUS? head scratcher.

what s with the recent brutality of late? Data delivered no?
fair enough and interesting perspective. dont disagree with you per se. albeit at vrx s market cap of 60 billion or so, it doesnt seem time to abandon ship quite yet. indeed, the recent 250 pps was rich however. At either 250 or 170 the company surely isnt the cheapest going concern in the equity market no dispute.
fact is however, it s obviously been messy in biopharma land and loads of bath water and babies have been thrown out thanks to various agendas--some hidden some not so much. sadly, the good seems to be falling on deaf ears for now. tbd.
