DD - China Mobility Solutions Announces Launch of Its Mobile Email System
Check out that line about the world's largest PC manufacturer
June 14, 2005 07:00:56 (ET)
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, June 14, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- China Mobility Solutions Inc. (CHMS, Trade) is pleased to announce that it has launched a mobile email system for the Chinese mobile phone market. The Company is currently in discussions with one of the world's largest PC manufacturers to distribute this product bundled with their systems.
Similar to the North American "Blackberry" technology, this mobile email system was developed with push-based technology that delivers email to the recipient's cell phone. The "push" technology means email does not have to be retrieved, but is automatically delivered.
Among the essentials needs of the modern mobile professional is the ability to keep in touch with people, data and resources at all times of their busy days. China Mobility's email service enables users to utilize what would otherwise be lost communication time. For example, they can send and receive messages while waiting to board a plane or view company information and updates from the back seat of a taxi. A seamless operation is also facilitated by allowing employees to clear trouble spots or bottlenecks in operations from remote locations and order needed supplies, tools or parts from any location they are currently located.
"We are very excited about this new mobile service and the positive effect it will have on a company's operations and mobile communications connectivity," said Angela Du, president of China Mobility Solutions.

Analysts predict that by 2007, China will have more than 500 million mobile phones in operation. In 2003, more than 200 billion text messages were sent through mobile phones in China.
Drymke, I've been following CHMS - China Mobility Solutions - for a while and just sent them an email asking if they are aware of Paperclick, etc. They do a lot of business solutions for the cell phone with marketing. Will post on the board when/if I hear from them... but according to their press release they have a database of over 15,000 business customers, are a strategic partner with the largest IP and seems like a great fit for NEOM... we'll see.

DD: China Mobility Solutions Announces Streaming Media Solutions Field Trials for 3G Mobile Phones
Thursday May 26, 7:00 am ET
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- China Mobility Solutions Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CHMS - News) is pleased to announce that it has commenced field trails on its streaming media solutions for 3G mobile phones. 3G represents the next generation of mobile phone service enabling advanced multi-media capabilities such as streaming video. In cooperation with the telecom operators, China Mobility Solutions will provide exciting, feature-rich mobile video functions to its clients creating significant new sources of revenue for the Company.
China Mobility Solution's mobile solutions incorporating 3G technology will allow its clients to create more powerful and attractive marketing solutions. Consumers using the new 3G technology will enjoy higher functionality in their mobile devices, have access to the newest services and solutions offered by operators, and notice a higher overall quality of experience.
As China is close to announcing its 3G standards and issuing 3G licenses, all players in this field are currently conducting field trials of various standards, including CDMA, CDMA2000, TD-CDMA, and TD-SCDMA, along with the widely used international standard, WCDMA. TD-SCDMA is the Chinese standard, developed by DaTang -- one of the largest Chinese telecommunication manufacturers. China Mobility Solutions believes TD-SCDMA will play a vital role in China's 3G market and has been working closely with DaTang to provide solutions based on this standard. The Company is also working closely with other corporations on field trials involving streaming media solutions for enterprises. Some of its platform devices and solutions are already being trial tested by customers.
"Our knowledge of the demands and needs of corporate customers together with their daily patterns and user profiles is helping manufacturers like DaTang to better understand and more effectively reach existing and new wireless customers. We believe our expertise in technology, marketing and merchandising can fully complement the manufacturers needs and secure solid relationships with them," said Angela Du, President of China Mobility Solutions.
The first China Mobility Solutions 3G product -- a feature-rich mobile marketing solution incorporating streaming media -- is expected to be commercially released upon the Chinese government's anticipated announcement of the opening of the 3G markets.

Ifitlooks... SAIC story... spent the past weekend in San Diego, It's midnight, I'm stuck at a stop light. So of course I start scanning the NEOM board on my handheld. A radio commercial comes on for SAIC... like those ads that used to run for Intel on tv, but this was on radio... touting the company and its endeveors. Something like I want to say 42,000 employees, 150 countries and in every facet of government, business, security, and listed last? Improving the way we communicate... Then the next day, baseball scores come to you from the SAIC studios....
Where will the NEOM studios be located!?
JP, thanks and great insight! - eom
JP,
What do you think of that new search posted on pondering primate?

Aztree, I've enjloyed your posts in the past, and as well have been trying to keep up with the events of the day, but comparing JP, who started this board and is the very reason many are invested and have profited handsomely, and believe, rightly or wrongly, for whatever reason in NEOM, to Hitler is out of line... reputations are earned, not made, people get banished from the board for legitimate reasons imo... and it appears to me and many others AIRDROP's intentions were disingenuous... I've seen the results of Hitler, reconsider that thought imo..
Alexandre, ditto that... also liked the strong support at .50 ish, some people were coaxed out of their shares, but not many... march on

I'm here for DD, news, insight. IMHO Mgmt's job is not to prop up the pps w/ short term gimmicks, rather manage the co following a strategic LONG term strategy designed for maximum success and therefore an increase in pps... Decisions made by mgmt designed to prop up a stock usually don't work out long term, see Enron, Worldcom.
