When I say margin account I'm referring to an account specifically opened for day trading, trading options, currencies, etc..
You must specifically apply for a margin account like that with your broker, then the broker can approve or deny the account. In margin accounts like that your broker can also borrow shares to lend to traders who might want to short the stock.
When you open a trading account with a broker it's automatically considered a cash account unless you specifically apply for margin. It's shares in that default cash account that cannot be borrowed from by your broker.
Not sure I could hold a stock with FU in the ticker symbol. Couldn't they come up with something better than that?
Highly recommended if your shares are in a margin account. But if your broker account is a cash account no need to do that as the market maker can't borrow shares from a cash account.
Give me an example of a loan that doesn't have worse terms if the borrower goes into default. Every loan in the world has those terms.
Look at your 7% interest rate credit card, if you default it goes from 7% to 18%-30%. It's the way the credit world works.
In my opinion a person who plays both sides of the coin has more credibility in my book than full time 100% negative Nellies.
Attitudes can change with company developments. If I see something negative develop in a stock that I own, then even though I liked the stock when I purchased it I may no longer like the stock, and vice versa. If a stock that I previously avoided like the plague puts out audited financials that I like, I will reconsider and perhaps by the stock. Nothing wrong with that!
And by the way, that $40MM loan isn't that toxic. The terms are actually pretty decent in my opinion. I've seen other companies take out loans with much, MUCH worse terms.
Hopefully DP is setting his sights on Cook County too. In the not too distant future they will be recreational legal. And I read where Cook county is the second largest county in the United States with a population greater than something like 27 states in the union. If DP nails down that county that's a huge slice of the entire USA pot market.
I sold most of my TRTC shares the other day at $3.16, not because I thought TRTC would drop this low, but because I needed to free up some cash for a couple of other opportunities that I believe has better near term potential.
I still believe Terra Tech has a lot going for it and I intend to get back in. But I'll wait to see where the SP stabilizers or finds support.
In my opinion, in a year or two even $5/sh will look super cheap.

Well below. Current price is which is a pre-reverse split price of $0.00095. In my opinion it's oversold UNLESS Munro announces bankruptcy. It's a 50/50 gamble. I just tossed a coin and it landed heads, so that means I will hold my shares.
The hell with technical or fundamental analysis, all I need is a coin.
No, I disagree. If they do that they'll just have to do another reverse split 10 times sooner.
I agree. We're all adults here and no one needs anyone's permission if they wish to gamble. Personally, I prefer gambling with penny stocks as opposed to gambling at the local casino.
And most here are certainly aware of the risks associated with trading OTC and pinky stocks.
I'm buying. But I don't claim to be in my right mind.
Same here lol!
No doubt!
I will hold you to that! I want an opportunity to load the boat! Need to get my average cost per share down. My current cost basis average is $0.49/sh.
Congrats! I wish I could have got in at .06 too lol.
Wishing you continued best of luck on that trade.
Yep, no way would I have held all shares from 6 to 95 without pulling some out and reinvesting along the way. Typically if my original position doubles, I pull out 150% of my original cost basis and let the house shares ride. Then, even if all the free shares go to zero I still realized a 50% gain on that purchase.
I do this by lots. And if the price drops a predetermined amount, I buy another lot and hope to repeat the process. Win some, lose some.
If you can sleep at night without worrying about your open positions, then you are doing whatever is right for YOU. If you lose sleep or worry about losing too much, you need to tweak your style a bit.
But everyone has their own way of doing things, so to each their own. Only you are responsible for your investment decisions. So if you lose too much it's your fault and not the market's. If you make a ton on your investment you get all the credit too.
Just my humble opinions.
I emailed the transfer agent several weeks ago inquiring about the current share structure and never got a reply.
But it should be public knowledge soon enough. I can wait.
But the point being, even with the sell-off from .95 POTN is still up huge from 6 cents.
6 cents to the current price of 37 cents is a 31 cent gain, or a 517% gain on 6 cents. Not too shabby in my book!
The pet market is huge! Glad POTN is in that market too. Most people spoil the hell out of their pets and will spend whatever it take to keep them happy and healthy. I know my wife and I do ;)
I wish CBD oils for pets was around when my elderly male yellow lab was still on this earth. He was on PetMeds joint supplements for the last 5 years of his life. They helped some, but not as well as CBD oils probably would have. He lived to be 13 and 1/2 years old.
I have a 5 year old female yellow lab now. She's a huge, 100 lbs but not fat, she's long and tall too. If she gets to the point where she can't hop into my truck or onto our bed then I will most definitely try the CBD oils.
My wife and I decided to try Diamond CBD products for our pain and sleep issues. Late last week we placed our first orders. Ordered the Relax Extreme CBD Oil 1000X and the 500mg Meds Biotech Gummies. We can't wait until they arrive! We never tried CBD before. We're supposed to get the oil tomorrow, and the gummies probably on Saturday.
I will report back how they work for us.
Great testimonial! Thanks for sharing. Provide that feedback on Amazon too :)
Perhaps, but they rarely participate when the rest of the market is in a sea of green. The stock either flat-lines or goes down. Up days are too few and far between.
I think the reason for no trading is the longs holding tight and refusing to sell down here waiting for the catalyst that will propel this stock into the stratosphere. And then zero interest from new eyes and ex VDRM stock holders because of the embarrassing stock performance and the fluff PRs with no real meat to them.
I'm still holding waiting for the PR with meat.
It's like management here intentionally goes out of their way to keep us in the dark and the share price low. But why would they do that? But it seems to make sense.
I agree with you, just a decent PR about the MMJ Canadian deal going live could have attracted some eyes here and supported the price some. I just don't get it. And exactly, what about Japan?!
Well, I refuse to sell a single share before I see hard revenue numbers, regardless of how low the share price goes before that happens.
The way I look at it, ViaDerma is selling product and has revenues! Whether good or bad at this point I don't really care. Just the fact that they have revenues is more than the majority of sticky pinkies can claim.
Yeah, I'm really looking forward to that with bated breath. Need some clarity on what's going on now with Intercloud.
In my opinion that last PR of theirs SUCKED! Seemed to me like they just slopped something together, like even THEY gave up. I certainly didn't get good vibes from it.
First thought I had is, are they that broke that they have to use stock to pay their attorney? Have they no cash at all? Are they completely without income? Did they sell off all their producing assets? Do they have any income at all? We're in the dark here. And I need a bunch of questions answered.
No doubt, the market has written them off already. Maybe for good reason. But I'm stubborn. In fact, I added more shares yesterday thinking there's still hope for them. Already lost 10% on that lot lol. As you know, I have the Midas touch in reverse.
So what do you think tomorrow holds for ICLDD? Down 30% to really shake the tree?! I'm so stupid, I'll buy more if it drops 30% tomorrow. I just never learn. And I really don't enjoy pain!
Ha ha! Tell me about it.
To this day that scene still about makes me puke.
Lmao! I got it. Animal House is a classic. But that goes over peoples heads here unless they're at least 50 or so. Can't believe that was 40 years ago. Seems like yesterday... But I digress...
Back to Intercloud. Wonder if they're close to the end of dilution or if they will dilute again to a billion shares. I didn't think they had much toxic debt remaining, but every friggin day more form T trades.
Jeeze Louise, will it ever end!
Vaseline, Inc.
Another code if it's not on your list yet is CHILLGUMMIES50, good for 50% off chill plus gummies. In the email it says 48 hour sale and limited time. Got the email from them this morning.
The fact that ViaDerma is selling real products that work is what's keeping me in this stock. It certainly isn't the stock price under-performance!
I think though, the faithful longs will have their day here when it's all said and done. Just don't know if I have that kind of patience.
And I'm getting up there in age. So time isn't on my side like it was when I was 20. I'll try to give this 3 years to amount to something. If it's still no where by then, it's never going anywhere.
But I hate wasting 3 years too. Just hope I'm not wasting my time with this, by being too optimistic.
It's pretty sad when the DOW and boring S&P500 stocks have more positive price action than the pennies I own. Every penny stock that I decided to hold over the past year or two have done nothing but go down. The only ones that go on a tear are the ones I bailed out of after holding 3 years watching them go down.
I remember the days when I could make good money at this. I guess I just lost my touch.
Frustrated in IL
Looks like VDRM flatlining as usual. What a snoozer. When the hell is this thing going to mov? Hell, even though I'm long this stock I'd be happy if it drops 25%. At least that's action and perhaps an entry point for a quick flip. This stock does nothing.
Come on doc. Show me the money!!!!!
It's not Netlayer iO but it still looks good there.
That's probably his plan.
Good to see Netlayer still on there lol.
Sorry, but no one is bad as George. Munro still looks like a saint compared to him.
I kind of do hear a train in the distance. But if I'm lucky it's just a tornado.
Brutal I tell you! Brutal!
Man I hope so. But I wouldn't be too surprised if we see .008s again.
I was hoping to get some in the 8s, but decided it could be risky waiting too long for an order like that to fill. Knowing my luck I'd be waiting for 8's instead of 9s, and then boom, numbers reported the next morning and this thing gaps up 500% and doesn't look back for 3 or 4 days.
The thing with penny stocks like this is sometimes you can recover years of losses and even net a nice gain on a stock in a single day with the right news. But in order to capitalize on that single day pop you have to be a shareholder and willing to pull the sell trigger while everyone else is tripping over each other buying.
Well for my sake I hope you are wrong. But a man has to do what a man has to do, so no harm no foul to you for selling and moving on.
In fact, I pretty much gave up on them and sold all my VDRM shares on 02/26/18 for .0086-.0087 each because I couldn't take it any longer.
But after careful reconsideration I bought back in on 03/09/18 and added a couple times since then, and all at prices higher than what I originally sold for on 2/26.
It doesn't make sense I know. Who buys high and sells low? I get that. I just feel this stock has more potential than I originally gave them credit for.
I believe I will be rewarded if I can remain patient and not let the 20% down days get to me. I should just quit watching the daily price action. Perhaps check in once a month. But me being me, I can't do that! That's no fun! And no point in investing or trading unless you can have fun at it.
I'm hoping for it Kenny! Thanks for the words of encouragement. Member marked you for it!
