Is that the only whole reason you can think of? What if the whole reason was to announce a partnership with Celgene?
“The day-long conference, hosted by the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and sponsored, in part, by Celgene Corporation”
Maybe because they we’re invited!
Innovation Pharmaceuticals (IPIX) (“the Company”), a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company, announced today that the Company has been invited to present on the planned continued development of Brilacidin for Inflammatory Bowel Disease at the inaugural “IBD Innovate 2018” conference.
Anything’s possible in an infinite universe I just think it’s more likely knowing Leo’s frugality that he felt it was the CRO’s fault for the overrun in cost and he pushed back against them and initially refused to pay the bill. I think at some point he realized he wasn’t going to win the disagreement and decided to pay. I don’t think there’s some conspiracy about knowing the data wasn’t what they thought it would be and are now trying to save money by walking away without paying. Opens the company up to lawsuits if they tried to pull that BS. But in the end who knows. We’re all guessing be it educated or not. GL
Of course I read the 10k but The 10K came out a month ago. So how does anyone know if we still haven’t paid? We don’t. We wait. In the meantime you have people speculating about possible lawsuits for something that may have already been resolved. Maybe Leo finally learned his lesson and will not put out some dumbass PR saying hey we paid the CRO and we will be reporting the results soon. My hope is he will keep his mouth shut until after they finish paying (which may have already happened) the CRO and reviewed the data then PR the results.
Pipeline is incredible! K in pill form has the potential to be anything from a cure by itself or possibly just a complimentary blockbuster! The preclinical data on K showed promising data for K being a chemosensitizer. This would allow drs. To expose the patients to less chemo while still killing the tumor. Who wouldn’t want to see thi happen! And that’s just K! Excited to see how K plays out. However long it takes. GL
Who says they still haven’t paid? A contract works both ways. Let’s speculate. Ever think that maybe The CRO made promises in the beginning about the amount of patients they’d get if IPIX set up their study in such and such location. They failed to get those promised patients which force IPIX to open more sites to play catch up. Whose at fault? Why should IPIX pay for the CRO’s mistake of over estimating the amount of patients they’d get and for setting up a trial where another one was already taking place. All kinds of scenarios we can make up. None of us know till we know so stop with your BS negative speculations.
Likewise. Watching and waiting. GL.
Yeah. One for Dr. Orser whose been with co. Almost from the beginning I think. The other options were to the financial guy. Can’t remember name. But they definitely need his services if they want to grow. Seems like they’re both good additions to the board. But time will tell. It’s still early. Once the Northern Cali lab opens their revs are going to skyrocket IMO and with a repeatable efficient SOP in place they can expand quickly to all the new legal states/countries coming online. I really like the fact that their capturing and documenting the analytics on every strain they test. That info is going to be very valuable in the future. The market hasn’t realized the value of that yet.
Took a look. Doesn’t seem excessive. Especially for the OTC. Any insights or speculations about them?
Incredible price for something with this low of a float and this much potential IMO. Been watching for many years waiting to get in. Today’s the day. GL.
I think the OS is only 41million. Hopefully someone will confirm.
p53, often referred to as the "Guardian Angel Gene" or the "Guardian Angel of the Human Genome" due its crucial role in controlling cell mutations, is a tumor suppressor protein that is encoded by the TP53 gene in humans and has been widely regarded as possibly holding a key to the future of cancer therapies.
The world has totally moved on from this! LOL!!!
True that! These MFO’s don’t just throw money around without doing deep DD on a company. Sentiment is going to change here soon. The wrecking crew will be forced to move on to their next assignment. Imagine having to do that job for a living. What a soul sucking occupation. To all new/old investors out their contemplating investing in IPIX but weary because of all the negative noise. Ask yourself. Would you spend all hours of the day/night posting negative things about a company if you were not being paid for it? Ignore the noise!
Says the kettle. IPIX ain’t the only ones working overtime. Sentiment will shift soon IMO. The ones yelling the loudest will be left behind...
Do the baker brothers count as a MFO?
Don’t forget about Pokémon!
Like I said I have no skin in this game. The poster claimed there was a nuclear plant close by the belivdere facility. I was just trying to correct that in the name of intellectual honesty. I don’t care who owns what. Best of luck.
That’s martins creek power plant. It’s natural gas. Look it up. Use to be coal before the great state of New Jersey sued them and got them to change to NG. Never been nuclear. Just because there are cooling towers doesn’t mean it’s nuclear. Do some DD before you post possibly damaging information. Making assumptions off images is not DD.
Not invested in this company so I can say without bias there is no nuclear plant a stones throw away. Where are you talking about? Across the river in Bangor PA? if so, that’s a natural gas facility.
He didn’t get into this for the money. Leo was already wealthy. He wanted to find a cure for cancer. Something both his parents died from. An admirable pursuit. More than anything you’ve probably ever attempted. Show some respect.
My personal favorite was when they said they were going to get into the Pokémon craze.
They are not out of cash. They have $1,336,000 according to the 10-q. Why are you making things up?
Bake sale?
Nice try. Read again
“The expedient advancement of Brilacidin-OM into later clinical development is a priority, as is the broader expansion of the complete Brilacidin Franchise.”
Why’s the knight got to be white? Miraculous? Hyperbolic much?
The B Franchise! Yes!
P franchise! Georgie thinks it’ll be...
K franchise next?
Singular drugs with multiple indications!
For under fiftee cents?
MC Yogurt! Say it ain’t so!
Go IPIX!
Yes! MC Yogurt is up in this! IPIX lining up B Manufacturing! Good things happening! We are all invested in a company that is generally interested in helping people! Trending positive!
Agree. And if he can’t do it someone else could. MC Yogurt was rapping to me about B for OM. No SAE’s. So you ain’t hurting no one who wants to try. Sure the results weren’t statistically amazing. it didn’t stop most from getting OM but it did stop some. A decent some at that. Enough to be vaulted to a leadership position. MC Yogurt then said something that I’ll never forget he was like, “Yo Cog, in biotech a company just needs to show they help Some for you to make $um”.
More people selling then buying. MC yogurt says on his latest track, “that’s just how it goes sometimes, that’s just how it goes”.
We’ll always have each other. Thanks for all the positivity over the years. I’m reminded of the lyrics of the great MC yogurt when he said “if you don’t want to be a bitter and winey message board poster never tell friends and family about a stock”.
Crystal balls are easily broken...
It’s nice to see the outside world is starting to take notice. Innovation has the potential to help a lot of people with their pipeline. If proven through trials then partners will beat a path to their door. Hopefully a couple of the insatiable giants will try and out bid each other for a piece of the IPIX pie...
Also good for negotiating a better deal. They can play hardball knowing they don't have to take a deal right away. If they don't like what's on the table they can continue to progress through trials. Increasing the value of the drugs even more. Forcing BP to have to pay up.
"Johnson & Johnson (J&J) has been continually dominating the UC market due to the success of Remicade. However, Remicade’s patent is set to expire between 2015 and 2018, which will knock J&J’s sales down from approximately $2 billion in 2012 to $1.5 billion by 2022, according to GlobalData".
J&J ipix
?
Worth repeating:
"A recent example of an IBD deal just last week Johnson & Johnson signed a $990 million deal with Protagonist Therapeutics for preclinical compound with the bulk of the payout tied to advancing the compound into Phase 2 trials, that's where we are at this point. So, I essentially feel really good about where we are with Brilacidin in IBD".
That 900 million Protagonist deal was negotiated based on potential. Brilacidin deal for UP will be based on proof!
How much more will big pharma pay for that?
30,000 was just bought. All relative.
Who cares about a Bag holder who doesn't realize they're holding the bag! One born everyday.
The courts already determined MAKO has zero credibility. People are selling because you can't fix stupid. No matter the facts.
I think they should have borrowed a catch phrase from a kids movie for their name. That would've been original.
