For some reason he feels the Authorized must be split. It is illegal or a nasdaq/sec rules violation. Otherwise what is the point of writing the sec and nasdaq - "we know it's not illegal but we don't like it. It's not fair wahhhh
Apparently not PPHM. Garnick has all but disappeared from pphm. He has never made a single statement about Sunrise. Makes a tiny statement at last concall sounding like a kidnapped hostage. Truly bizarre.
Why do you think it is unusual to not reduce the Authorized shares proportionally? This is common in these situations.
Since no one disagreed that it is not only legal but typical to not reduce authorized proportionally, just who do you send the "it's legal but not fair" letter too. Is there a department for that?
So I guess you view it as long odds that they do not have a RS. I agree.
You don't announce a RS if you do not plan to actually implement it. I know of no instance where that happened. There are no near-term catalyst to consider a 300% rise in share price an even remote possibility. What odds would you say that the RS does not take place. 10:150:1 100:1
They did confirm - that would be the RS announcement. You do not do that if you have any hope of getting back over $1. Too much reputational damage .
And the accompanying action is to change CEO. Same should happen at pphm.

omg of course it is a done deal. As is the non-reduction of authorized shares.
Huh? Day after day pphm trades a few hundred thousand shares and < $500k in $$ volume. So how do you easily manipulate down the volume if there is all this buy-side interest?.
The volume clearly show no one is interested in pphm. and if what little volume there is come from hedged traders, isn't that even more obvious?
They are only worth 500mil x acquirer_taxrate at most. Well below $1 share.
This is a generic low level hean counter. No mention of anything you have suggested.
Big pharma also could care less. Just boiler room types at this point. Not the Greenwich hedge funds
Wouldn't that be $50-$60k? Why is this significant?
And there are responsible users of ATM/dlluton and those that use these funds to:
- pay huge bonus even after failed trial destroyed shareholders
- pay bod more than the average fortune 500 god
- maintain staff after the huge Sunrise setup
- generally profligate self-serving actions
Debunk? The trial failed, it was stopped for futility, 6+ months later no data, company presented the first lookin as disappointing, cancelled all chemo trials. Other than that Mrs. Lincoln enjoyed the play.
Being taken private would also be a change of control. That would be special. Screw shareholders and get the cash.
Good Grief. Do you realize how few institutions are invested in pphm. People should look at other small biotech's II list. Look at the average bod while you are at it. I can see people saying, "good reason for pphm to be different" (whatever that might be) but it can not be denied that pphm has a comparatively low number of II and one of the least experienced, overpaid and poorly structured (from a shareholder standpoint) boards.
Pleaze. It is the tiniest of money. MM can control this all day long. They don't need help from secret accumulators.
offer $1 today and you will turn the float.
Six + months now. I don't think even pphm would have the temerity it not release the data at some point. Surely it will be in the quarterly, 3-4 weeks from now.
Just split off Avid. They can take 3/4 of the cash, leave 1/4th with Avid. Avid can easily raise money like every other mfg. concern based on order book, equipment etc. This kind of money right now would also be very very cheap. To use ATM funding to pay for mfg. business is absurd.
Yes there are many many ways to get this over $1. They all involve putting shareholders before self-interest. Wait isn't that bod duty?
Heck...maybe they will do 3:1 that's less than 7 as well. Of course they will do 7:1 and of course they will not adjust the authorized proportionally. Of course there is no secret group that owns 40-50% of the company in anticipation of acquiring.
I am buying anything under $2
Yes 100% certainty that someone does not have a secret 100m share, 40% interest in pphm.
