The nice thing about the fake 8k is that it will cause the SEC to actually to something. They have come down hard on people who put out fake PRs. Another good thing is it has probably caused some people to avoid buying pumps.
The one problem with me believing that Raul was behind all this is that STKO showed up on the bullexchange.com website for almost an hour. Unless he designed their website and thus had access I doubt he could've hacked it. So someone involved in tbx is almost certainly involved in all this. Furthermore, I received the STKO fake pump emails to an email address that I had only used to sign up for tbx-related websites:
PennyPlayersClub.com
OTCMarketBulls.com
BullExchange.com
TheBullExchange.com
MarketBulls.com
GaintheGreen.com
BestPennyNewsletter.com
OTCMarketAlerts.com
MonsterGainers.com
OTCStockChaser.com
InsanePennies.com
MadMoneyAlerts.com
I also received the spam from 'stocksubscriptions.com' to that email address. And I received spam promoting SRGL and SMAA to that email address. Because of those facts I am 80%+ confident that one of the people involved in these pumps is involved in tbx. We already know that tbx engages in spam. Still, a good chunk of evidence also points to Raul and I can't ignore that.
Yep, amateurish mistake. But via the magic of Occam's razor, I find them making a dumb typo to be a lot more likely than their website getting hacked by shorts ;)
It is actually not that uncommon for expensive lawyers to make such errors -- they just cut and paste 95% of what they do.

What does this mean? This means you can't trade the stock if you are in Canada and trade through a Canadian broker. Americans and others can continue to trade all they like. Of course, the halt is issued because of the stock promotion so caveat emptor.

LBSV SEC suspension

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
Before the
SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION
SECURITIES EXCHANGE ACT OF 1934
Release No. 67989 / October 5, 2012
The Securities and Exchange Commission (“Commission”) announced the temporary
suspension, pursuant to Section 12(k) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (the “Exchange Act”), of trading in the securities of Liberty Silver Corp. (“Liberty Silver”), of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, commencing at 9:30 a.m. EDT, October 5, 2012, and terminating at 11:59 p.m. EDT, on October 18, 2012.
The Commission temporarily suspended trading in the securities of Liberty Silver because of a lack of current and accurate information about the company concerning, among other things, the control of its stock, its market price, and trading in the stock.
The Commission cautions brokers, dealers, shareholders, and prospective purchasers that they should carefully consider the foregoing information along with all other currently available information and any information subsequently issued by the company.
Further, brokers and dealers should be alert to the fact that, pursuant to Rule 15c2-11 under the Exchange Act, at the termination of the trading suspension, no quotation may be entered unless and until they have strictly complied with all of the provisions of the rule. If any broker or dealer has any questions as to whether or not he has complied with the rule, he should not enter any quotation but immediately contact the staff in the Division of Trading and Markets, Office of Interpretation and Guidance, at (202) 551-5777. If any broker or dealer is uncertain as to what is required by Rule 15c2-11, he should refrain from entering quotations relating to Liberty Silver’s securities until such time as he has familiarized himself with the rule and is certain that all of its provisions have been met. If any broker or dealer enters any quotation which is in violation of
the rule, the Commission will consider the need for prompt enforcement action.
If any broker, dealer or other person has any information which may relate to this matter, Michael J. Osnato of the New York Regional Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission should be telephoned at (212) 336-0156.
I wouldn't call it fraudulent, just non-material. My wife's company gets their helium from Air Liquide or Praxair. I could call them up tomorrow and order a tank of liquid helium and they would deliver to my house if I paid them.
I like the Azteca Centro SA. I was actually planning on registering "The Tengeria Foundation" but that would have to be a non-profit where I live (or a foundation repair company). It would've been fun to unveil the Tengeria (or is it Tenegria?) Foundation as something I controlled. Most likely the real Tengeria Foundation doesn't even exist, just like Degroupa Tener Morales Media and Centro Azteca and the new one in Spain or Brazil.

$2.5m budget disclosed for this pump
The amusing thing is it seems to me to be very similar technology to that of former Amex crap stock SUF (Sulphco). Great technology and it works. The only problem is that it has been tried by everyone and their mother and it is not and never will be a cost-effective means of processing heavy crude. I will hopefully get around to a big article debunking the technology -- I've got a friend in the industry helping me with the details, but I'm a busy bee and may not get around to it.
Sulphco went bankrupt last year and the most recent thing I heard about their IP is that it was for sale here: http://www.pluritas.com/_public/_public_sulphco/SulphCo_Asset_Overview.pdf
Here is the info from the most recent 10Q on PSON

Petrosonic Heavy Oil Process Patents
As part of the transaction with Sonoro Energy the company has acquired the following Heavy Oil Process provisional and PCT applications based on the Company’s Sonoprocess™:
· Patent/Application No: WO2009111871. Jurisdiction: WIPO. Title: Method for Treating Heavy Crude Oil. Application Status: Published.
· Patent/Application No: EA201071060. Jurisdiction: Eurasisa. Title: Method for Treating Heavy Crude Oil. Status: Pending.
· Patent/Application No: EP2260089. Jurisdiction: Europe. Title: Method for Treating Heavy Crude Oil. Status: Pending.
· Patent/Application No: 2156/MUMNP/2010. Jurisdiction: India. Title: Method for Treating Heavy Crude Oil. Status: Pending.
· Patent/Application No: US 61/035,690. Jurisdiction: United States. Title: Method for Treating Heavy Crude Oil. Status: Company will appeal the expired priority claim to reinstate the priority claim.
PSON has a pretty crappy patent portfolio compared to Sulphco, which WENT BANKRUPT last year.
(disclosure: no position in PSON.)
You are of course correct. All my sites are hosted on 1and1.com. Lots of folks including nodummy use GoDaddy. If you are based in Canada and the USA you don't end up hosted on a random Czech hosting company unless you set out to do that.
It looks like the awesomepennystocks folks bought it -- definitely looks like one of their sites.
Gold Investing - over 10% return per month!
Interesting website I came across yesterday while searching stock-related ads on Bing.com. Seems highly sketchy to me, although much less so than HardHead Technologies offering that I found a couple weeks ago, especially since they request that people be accredited or 'qualified' investors. Still seems off to me.
http://goldincomeinvesting.com/msngold/index.html
"Gold Processing company has openings for additional partners. Must be qualified ($50k min.) accredited or institutional investor. Company is establishing a new mineral recovery plant. Equipment being installed now. The company has a purchase contract for a minimum 30,000 tons of high yield gold and silver ore from a local mining company. The company uses state of the art electrostatic mineral recovery technology to extract gold and silver from the ore for sale to refineries. Investors earn profits from sales of processed gold & silver ore to the refinery. Projected income is $5235/mo per $50k invested, providing Return of Capital in 9.6 months. Please submit your information to apply to receive due diligence materials."
Maybe I should try Tropamine 3 -- I get hot flashes. They've been very bad this summer, but luckily they go away each winter.

PUNL pumpers ran IDNG a month or two ago and then it had a 5 for 1 share split done as a stock dividend so lots of people couldn't even sell as it tanked hard. THeir past pumps did way worse than IDNG.
People in penny stock chatrooms have been aware of this pump for the last week. I got on Brighton's calling list (using my Google Voice number) and they say they have 85,000 people on their list. Interesting that they actually do calls and not just emails.
Frankly, I think that is good news. Calling someone a child molester is defamation per se. I would love for a promoter to call me that rather than just saying I lie and put out a PR threatening me with a libel suit (like Dan F. Ryan did). It would make for an easy libel lawsuit.
Of course I need to do a lot more to offend a bunch of promoters, something I have been slacking at the last couple years (unlike many people here).

Thanks. That is what I thought. I submitted a complaint to the Texas securities regulators. I am not familiar with them but I know that at least some state securities regulators are very good at going after unregistered securities sales.
Anyone know Texas state securities regulators? Company paying big for ads to get people to lend them money. This looks hyper-sketchy to me but I really don't know much about this kind of thing.

Well it looks like somebody is an Anonymous fanboy (or just a fan of the Borg). Nice report, especially the catch of the different Google adwords campaigns. I would never have known how to look into that. The "fixed interest savings" ads are just evil.
I've been hearing rumors that Phil Kueber, Eric Van Nguyen, Michael Scott Williams, and Simon Cowell were all killed in a bus crash in Lima, Peru this morning at 6am. I'll try to see if I can fly down there and identify the bodies.
The only thing worse than no information is useless rumors.

Rather annoying -- George stole our thunder (I am working on a huge blog post on the IDOI spammers too). Kudos to him though if he can shut them down.
Janice -- That is far beyond my ability to understand. I do know a few webheads and I'll make sure they take a look.
I'm sure it is fake. It was only a matter of time. I'm surprised we haven't seen this sort of thing before. The sad part is that the creator of a fake website like that will get the book thrown at them compared to what (if anything) eventually happens to the folks behind aps.
I will go on record to say that I am 99% certain that is a forgery. It is a very good forgery, but I have never seen a hard mailer on a stock as cheap as VSUT. This forgery was not that hard to create -- just a knowledge of past McShane pumps and MS Word.

CTDT Lawsuit to be filed Monday?
George Sharp tweeted today that he is going to file a lawsuit against CTDT for stock fraud on Monday. He has previously sued people involved with AMWI and WRIT (not AMWI itself).

And make sure to check out Catherine's last comment on her blog -- it shows how different spam is compared to potential securities violations -- spamming sends people to jail and getting blacklisted as a spammer would kill a pumper's business. So aps was quick to deal with that.
http://mainsleaze.spambouncer.org/?p=2020
"It’s possible that Centro Azteca took the spam issues seriously (at last) and is adopting confirmed opt-in (COI) (what you call “double opt-in”) to ensure that the email addresses that they receive are legitimate. If they do that and get rid of or reconfirm their old lists, then they won’t send spam any more and won’t hit spamtraps. If they don’t send bulk email to email addresses that didn’t requiest that email, then they won’t hit spamtraps. If they don’t hit spamtraps, then they won’t draw the attention of antispammers."
I have no doubt that is his website, gbgmreport.com as well as antsreport.com. I have to say he got the idea from me with my http://www.stntreport.com (I previously redirected that url to http://nyan.cat/original.php ).
And of course a similar thing is http://rarustechnologies.com/
Raul isn't exactly trying hard to hide his identity (although that name could be a psuedonym). He is a web programmer who says he was hired to work on the StockHaven website. Stockhaven itself said it was having work done just prior to sending out their email warning about the PennyMafia.com website. He alleges that StockHaven did not pay him for that work. I can definitely confirm that he is a web programmer -- he offered to rebuild my blog with Joomla after my Wordpress installation got infected. He did do a significant amount of work on it before I got frustrated with the complexity of Joomla and rebuilt my site using Wordpress. He never asked for money for the work and I did not pay him -- he offered because he was grateful for the help I had given him with penny stocks in Tim Sykes' chatroom.
Stockhaven's allegation that Penny Mafia didn't disclose the ANTS position he held when he sent the emails on it is incorrect. He clearly stated that he was long (it was above the legalese). Stockhaven's assertion that the Penny Mafia legalese is inadequate is also wrong in my opinion. The SEC has clearly argued and won cases when stock promoters used language such as "we may have a position and may buy or sell this stock" that sold into subscribers buying -- that phrase does not protect the pumper who engages in scalping. I doubt a court would find someone guilty if they just did random trading without having such a disclosure.
This is Raul's take on Stockhaven: http://stockhavenscam.com/stock-haven-22-year-old-scam-artist.html
As to the fake pump email on SWTR, I find it hard to believe that Raul would be so stupid as to send the emails directly from his email account. The unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email is the one thing that has me stumped -- it is to an email redirect link on the pennymafia.com website that then redirects to an icontact unsubscribe page for what appears to be his pump email account. None of the emails I received from pennymafia.com ever had such a link, so I find it hard to believe that someone other than him could have made that link work. But I still find it hard to believe that he would be dumb enough to send a poorly spoofed fake pump email that links directly back to his website.
Any clue in what Province? I tried looking in BC and Quebec but couldn't find anything. Now that I've finally got the US courts down pat it is time to search Canadian courts.
One question that I think is interesting is why is Marketing Integrale bringing the lawsuit rather than Centro Azteca? Do they even have standing to sue? What is the relationship between them and Centro Azteca? If they truly own the websites, then aren't they violating CANSPAM by listing Centro Azteca in all the emails? Obviously IANAL (I'm not a lawyer) so this all may be irrelevant.
Centro Azteca of course is now the name in all the emails -- it has been just over six months since the last Awesomepennystocks.com email I got that said it came from 'Marketing Integrale'.
Also, does Marketing Integrale even exist? If it is the Quebec corporation, why do they misspell their name (that is Marketing Integral without a terminal 'e')?
Motion to dismiss:
http://www.goodetrades.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/marketing_integral_v_bullexchange-motion-to-dismiss.pdf
My (non-educated in law) thought is that just seems to say that the complaint didn't have enough evidence to connect Mesa Marketing LLC to the websites and prove other facts.
Easy proof that it is fake from image error level analysis:
