OTOTOT I resemble that remark.
And my wife agrees with you, 100%.

rick5, I have always viewed my ownership in WAVX as a long term GAMBLE, rather than an investment. Makes it a great deal easier to sleep at night and ride the waves in the day.
See Ya in Vegas!
greg s, I'm not interested in seeing "enhance the computing experience". What I want to see is "making all previously existing cpu's obsolete". Trusted computing is the ticket, as I see it.

trustcousa....Wish I had more concrete data.
However, I don't think anyone can accurately forecast the timing of the implementation and acceptance of a new model
for computer technology. Not even SKS, Gilder, Gates, etc..
To be honest, I can not understand why the gorillas have not already put TPM's on every motherboard being produced and thus making all previously existing cpu's obsolete. What better way to spike sales and revenue?

Snack, Is your time table predicated on the timing of a quarterly report?
One has to wonder about someone who posts someone else message on another board when it's not even directed to them.
See Ya in Vegas!
Cosign, It is yet to be determined. But as has been said, "It is coming".
See Ya in Vegas!
Cosign, I think we are all primed for some revenue.

Bull, I'm sure you will not be disappointed to find the coiled spring unleashed on Tuesday rather than on Wednesday!
See Ya in Vegas!
Bull, I get the feeling we bottom out this week. I told a fellow investor earlier today, who has a buy order in at $1.00, if we stay above $1.00, those setting on the sidelines will be chasing this one. Just my opinion.
See Ya in Vegas!
Bull, It is my belief, if we can hold on throughout the week,
we will see steady gains in '05 without news. With news (revenues) we will all be happy campers.
See Ya in Vegas!
2b, Thanks for the update and the bolds. That answers a lot of questions.
See Ya in Vegas!
eamonnshute, Seurat may be proud, but 2bs paints a prettier picture.

cpa: You say, " I stick around to effect a management change and hopefully to watch the Company succeed." Are you kidding us? Do you really think you are going to influence management of Wave with your posting on message boards and questions presented in conference calls? Surely you jest. I find it hard to believe a CPA could be this naive. No offense intended.

RE: Letter from Michael Dell on SECURITY.
This a copy of the e-mail text I sent to Dell Customer Care and Michael Dell.
If you folks were truly concerned about security, you would be
incorporating Trusted Platform Modules (TPM's) in all your products, play a major role in the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) and promoting the adoption of universal standards. The technology, hardware and software is available. What you are proposing is a band-aid fix. You could be a leader in the adoption of trusted computing! My bet is, anyone with any
clout at Dell will never see this e-mail.
Vader... Hopefully this is the calm before the storm.
Without news, not much to be said and still be on subject. Seems all has been analysed and dissected to the nth degree.

IT gets it.

secur_observ.... maybe they should get behind everyone else and support the TCG. Obviously they are searching for a proprietary solution.
In the new agreement, Cisco and Microsoft said they would share technical details, integrate their technologies, and push for industry wide standards.

MSN and MediaBay Join Forces to Offer Audiobooks Through Newly Launched MSN Music Service
October 07, 2004 00:01:00 AM ET
MediaBay Will Exclusively Distribute Titles From the World's Largest Publishers on MSN Music
REDMOND, Wash. and CEDAR KNOLLS, N.J., Oct. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MSN and MediaBay Inc. MBAY, a leader in spoken-word audio entertainment, today announced that they are working together to offer a wide range of audiobook titles via download to the millions of MSN(R) users in the United States. Among the audiobook titles MediaBay will exclusively offer on the MSN Music service ( http://www.music.msn.com ) are those from the nation's largest audiobook publishers.
(Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20000822/MSFTLOGO )
This new relationship complements the already extensive MSN Music service catalog, which provides music fans with an easy, comprehensive service for discovering and downloading legal digital music. MSN Music offers simple sign-up, no-hassle purchasing and superior sound quality, either through a Web browser or the new Microsoft(R) Windows Media(R) Player 10.
"With the growth of broadband access having reached critical mass, we anticipate the popularity of audiobook downloads to grow exponentially," said Jeffrey Dittus, CEO of MediaBay. "Currently, in an $800 million market that has increased 10 percent per year since 1989, sales of audiobooks should exceed $1.1 billion by 2008. We believe downloads will grow to take a much larger share of 2004 sales. We are confident that MSN will provide us with access to the growing number of audiobook listeners who are using the Internet more and more to access their entertainment and information needs, as well as attract new listeners who are unfamiliar with the format."
"We're excited to add MediaBay's audiobooks to our already extensive catalog of music," said Christine Andrews, lead product manager for MSN Entertainment at Microsoft Corp. "Our goal is to bring the largest library of music and spoken-word content to MSN Music customers, and MediaBay is helping us by providing access to a broad range of audiobooks, such as the most recent New York Times bestsellers, and new and backlist titles from best-selling authors such as John Grisham, Tom Wolfe, Mary Higgins Clark, Bill Clinton and Stephen King."
"This announcement builds upon our leading position as a marketer and distributor of audiobooks on tapes and compact discs via the Audio Book Club," Dittus said. "It is the first significant step in executing our digital media distribution strategy. By making our content available to the digital customer, we can expand the market for our audio content and considerably reduce the cost of delivery. The opportunity presented by this relationship is made even more significant by the multitude of compatible download devices for the MSN Music service."
Recent research conducted by the Audio Publishers Association shows that 70 percent of audiobook users listen to them in their cars or on portable devices, making MSN Music a logical choice for MediaBay. MediaBay audiobooks add to the extensive library of the MSN Music service, which is compatible with more portable devices than any other music service.
Joseph Rosetti, MediaBay chairman and former head of security at IBM Corp., also endorsed the offering. "A significant feature on MSN Music is Microsoft's Windows(R) Media Digital Rights Management platform, which helps protect and more securely deliver content for playback on a computer, portable device or network device," Rosetti said. "This platform provides publishers the content protection they have been looking for and is quickly becoming the industry standard."

Snackman...When posters bold
the information posted from other sources that specifically relates to Wave's products, services, support, relationships, etc., it makes it a great deal easier for us slow readers to scan. Thank you for leading by example.
See Ya in Vegas!
Doma...Isn't it interesting to see the significance of some of these old press releases coupled with current news. In new light they shine a bit brighter. You just never know what the future impact may be of new releases that some choose to pooh pooh. Thanks to all for your continuous contributions,
enabling the rest of us to have better insight into our speculation (investment).
See Ya in Vegas!
dhamster, thanks for the details.
See Ya in Vegas!
eamonshute, did you read post #53720????
See Ya in Vegas!
I have a lot of faith in this one. Waiting for it to drop with out news. Will pick up some more. Just wating.
Spin, you been smokin?
Not accustomed to you posting a positive about WAVX., especially without the Spin.
See Ya in Vegas!
dhamster, Several days ago we had some discussion regarding a change of insider holdings. Since then I've not seen any filings nor have I read every post on the board. Just wondering if you or any other Wavoid had any additional info.
See Ya in Vegas!
Smith, Always nice to be mentioned in the same sentence with a gorilla.
See Ya in Vegas!
oknpv. You are right we will be seeing more PR's. But it will be because of the increasing acceptance, subscribing, metering, applications, etc. of Wave's solutions, products and support.
See Ya in Vegas!
We all knew the notice was coming. There may be a dip tomorrow. Now may be the last chance to load up. After all these years we are beginning to see the bend in the hockey stick. I have not been this confident since 07/03.
See Ya in Vegas!
goinup... I think that's a real show of confidence by an insider(s), under the circumstances.
See Ya in Vegas!
Anyone have a WAG on how many shares that might be?
See Ya in Vegas!
trustcousa...I guess I'm just the eternal optimist and therefore expect good news daily. I have high expectations and every time I open up my browser I anticipate a run up type news release. We have been long over due for some really good news. In the scheme of trusted computing, I think immediate future is more likened to a few months.JMHO
See Ya in Vegas!
Reference my prior post #52299.
What we have experienced here today was simply a tropical wind. The real storm is still in the immediate future. And
I'm not referring to Ivan.
See Ya in Vegas!
rachelelise...I agree with your synopsis. Just disappointed with the lack of foresight. Trusted computing is obviously sorely needed by business to business enterprise, not to mention consumer applications. A watched pot, never boils.
See Ya in Vegas!
trustcousa....Wish I had more concrete data.
However, I don't think anyone can accurately forecast the timing of the implementation and acceptance of a new model

See Ya in Vegas!
trustcousa, The timing of the Las Vegas celebration will be a consensus of the board. I'm confident it will be when WAVX is better than break even and values are climbing. Many of us thought it would be this summer after the 7/03 announcements and run up. However, we failed in our expectations of how long a paradigm shift takes in the world of computer technology and trusted computing. But, we are convinced it is coming. The only question is when? Right now, it's anyone's guess. I hope you were not being disingenuous in posing the question.
See you in Vegas!
Is this the calm before the storm?
And I don't mean Hurricane Frances!
Content to wait and see what develops over the next several days.
Thoughts and prayers to those in Frances's path.
See Ya in Vegas!
Viva Las Vegas...Viva Las vegas!
It never ceases to amaze me the dot connecting taking place here over the weekends with virtually no, or little, in the way of new news releases.
See Ya in Vegas!
micro59, Thanks for sharing a part of your personal life with us. I'm looking forward to meeting you and other posters in the future.
