Nice try, 5$ would be a scam and a rip off.
I'm capable to realize how the present is connected to the past and I am old and wise enough to derive a future from it. I am able to recognize facts from fiction and I do have a memory. I'm fine with intermingling, I have no desire to let WAMU disappear in the mist of oblivion. This is not your board, this is our board. Are you capable to distinguish the difference between your desires and others? I hear you, do you hear me?
Forget it, we won't. It shall not be forgotten.
I'm with you.
So we have 6 more day's to go . I'll send you an apple pie if correct okay?
That is my birthday, the sun is always shining at the 15th and I'm always lucky. Always? Yep, always!
Need is the ultimate monkey as a wise man once said.....I rather live on water and bread then sell one share. As a matter of fact, I'm still accumulating, bit by bit....
Would that be strange, a market for tracking cusps? I think its strange to get away with naked shorting, even worse, as a hired contractor, hired to help the company, not to kill it.
''that equity escrows are highly dependent on the outcome of litigation. Says so, black and white.''
That is correct, but not the whole story. Highly dependent but not solely dependent.
Make hay? It's payday, the sun makes hay, not I. I'm a person that got screwed. I'm angry, I want my money back and I want to see justice done. We have that right. We pay tax. Criminals go to prison. In my world that is.
My girlfriend told me to sell....no way I said, nothing ever happens on a thursday, I'll sell tomorrow...
But that will soon be a story to laugh about
I will be pissed if it would be only three dollar. Anyone still believe the whole circus is only about a few hundred million? The NSS security in the Netherlands cost more then that .
You must be very bored to hang around here for a few lousy cents.....
I guess you don't have to mow the lawn ? For the rest: idem ditto , so close...
Why? WMIH will give @ 10x a 15x? Then NBG, sorted! Pref. would only double at best.
They did not want to have my generous offer, I'll tease them tomorrow again , I like to play .
I have no choice in that, I signed, but it would be very disappointing for so many people that have their pensions depending on the outcome of the escrow, closer to 20 would not be fair but reasonable.
JPM gambled and lost, we win.
JPM has money enough to invest in the Academi, former Blackwater, then they have money enough to pay for their crimes as well. They should invest in people, not in killing them, it shows what and who they are.
I won't.
Welcome back my girl, right on time , coincidence? Almost time to shop!
I'll hold on for the 50's, sounds so much better!
Someone is in a hurry, avoiding more problems.
Your'e joking yes?
They know when..., we only wake up one day, watch the stock a few hundred percent higher, too late, as usual. They invest in other stock now, few phone calls and they know and they won't call us.
Quite unbelievable....
It was a pleasure, thanks, indeed, one can never know enough, but the red lines trough history learn us great lessons. People do not change, we do not get smarter nor do our needs and greeds change.
What changes are some details in laws and perception of what is just, for now people stil betray others for 30 pieces of silver.
But in the end, they never get away with it do they?....I wish you a great outcome in this historical epic, we will write history !
BK, from whatever point or angle I look at it, I see not a trace of social redistribution. Good that you mention GM, it was the focus on their financial department (loans to buyers) from GM that they lost their ability to build competitive cars, buying other car brands just brought more debts, not better models. Greed blurred their vision, burned their ability to create.
GM (Opel) used to be the best selling car in the Netherlands, they are now pos.5, and not a good look out for next year. By closing factories in Belgium and screwing the German government by not keeping promises after the Germans invested billions in GM's factories people don't want an GM anymore.
Was it social to safe GM from going under? How social is it to first let people loan to much for a car they cannot afford, charge them too high interest rates, let GM pay tax in Cayman islands or the Netherlands, anywhere but in the US? Then borrow from the private FED to bring more national debt on the people.
It looks nice at first glance if you try to safe peoples jobs but isn't it always saving multinationals ass on hindsight? Resulting in more debts and more tax relief for ''investors''?
Good example what profits were made in the automobile industry and where it leads to is Eric Prince his ''Blackwater'' and the derivates of his business, is that all the good capitalism can bring? Dead and devastation to employees and innocent people all over the world? With high profits to few, no tax and lobbying your foreign policy back into the cold war?
Enough about the car industry, the most ''social'' car build in my view was build by John DeLorean, but we all know what Tatcher, Reagan and even the FBI did to him to prevent it from becoming a succes.
Tomorrow I have to pick up my Tesla S, my social contribution to leave more fuel for you guys .
''JPM is out of it. The WMILT has other targets of litigation, and they are limited, and they have unreserved $12M of the $20M set aside for the litigation. Does that sound like a good plan for another 5-10 run of litigation?''
We do not need the $12 or $20M for litigation, we pay tax, the USDOJ will do it's job. They have two choices:
1st. Option: Do nothing, leave the Status Quo as is, let JPM keep its money and the FDIC the $2.6bn (or so, I do not do in details).
Result? JPM does not pay tax..., they have costs, FDIC has costs, the billions will be lost for ever and will be used to counteract on the USDOJ by lobbying against any law beneficial to government and population, small investors like us will not invest their money/pension in shares coming 10 years, and will choose for a different government, either left or right, but different. Different is dangerous, people working for governments don't like different. To shed a little light on US DOJ, BK, visit the www.stopfraud.gov , this is roughly how they are organized.
''The RMBS Working Group is a federal and state law enforcement effort focused on investigating fraud and abuse in the RMBS market that helped lead to the 2008 financial crisis. The RMBS Working Group brings together more than 200 attorneys, investigators, analysts and staff from dozens of state and federal agencies including the Department of Justice, 10 U.S. attorney’s offices, the FBI, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), HUD’s Office of Inspector General, the FHFA-OIG, the Office of the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program, the Federal Reserve Board’s Office of Inspector General, the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, and more than 10 state attorneys general offices around the country.
The RMBS Working Group is led by five co-chairs: Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division Stuart Delery, Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division Mythili Raman, Co-Director of the SEC’s Division of Enforcement George Canellos, U.S. Attorney for the District of Colorado John Walsh and New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.''
2nd. USDOJ researches operation West Coast and concludes there is enough evidence to sue principals, criminal act can be proven by sweet-talk, promises and putting a little pressure on ex-employees and promise the JPM and DIC lawyers a nice thorough IRS check on their private income over the past ten years. It is not all that difficult. Result? JPM to settle with equity (not for nothing originating from the latin word for Knights) a fair and reasonable sum per share + interest, between $5 and $ 8 in our escrow (including settlements with GS, FDIC and known third parties leading to $8 to $10.), because that is what our escrow is for, they pay the USDOJ made costs + settle for a very un-reasonable 5Bn or so, shameless of course but JPM would stil make good profit and finally have their real out of jail for free. At worst that would cost JPM ±$10 per share what would lead them back to the share price of january 2013........
Al that signing for releases crap in spite, that is just fog, give it a different perspective: What would have happened if we did not have to sign it, it was just to keep us quit for a reason, to buy time if you will, and for our own benefit. Class actions would have brought the ''fair and reasonable'' in trouble and would have cost us and JPM a fortune.
We, WMIH, WMILT or whatever entity you want to call it, it is all ''we'', pay nothing for litigation, just a bit to keep friends, Susman and others, but the DOJ will do it's work, to many career making honest people working for justice, you can own media, you can own half the government, you can stop a few, but you cannot stop them all, either from right or left, one ''untouchable'' will slip through, they always do.
From your own government: ''The task force is improving efforts across the government and with state and local partners to investigate and prosecute significant financial crimes, ensure just and effective punishment for those who perpetrate financial crimes, recover proceeds for victims and address financial discrimination in the lending and financial markets.''
Should we doubt them? Is there reason to?
There is one little thing that troubles me: The US government and constitution was and is based upon ''the great Roman republic'', based on books from Cicero: the Re Publica and Legibus. Cicero, based on his experiences, based on his view from the Palatine upon the populous, his visions as a money eager lawyer, villa and land owner and a trained public speaker without any respect for the ordinary people.
Elas, no books are saved from that period in time written by ordinary people or even by Equites. George Washington and friends knew what they did, at first glance a democratic and just government...but as in ancient Rome, senators at the end are responsible for justice....and dear Bk, times change, but do Senators change as well? People like Tiberius and Gaius Sempronius Gracchus paid with their lives in an attempt to bring justice for the people, will you people today be man enough to demand justice, or are you as weak as JPM and FDIC expect you to be.......populous or equity, what are you Bk?
Of course, all just my opinion....I don't do details they just fog up one's view, I like bigger pictures
You bet, theft shall not be rewarded, thieves shall not walk away from this unpunished. $1 is a joke, JPM shares would rise more then a dollar on the message the payback would be only one green per share. It'll be between 8 and 10 if they are lucky. That would still leave by far the most shareholders with a huge loss.
You wish , just wait and see. I have the time, they have my money, soon, they'll do time and I'll have it back with interrest. I can sleep, I don't have to watch my back, can they?
We know now what the 1.8bn was really worth, can you imagine what the other 0.9bn on ''assets'' wil be worth? We let FDIC keep it? I don't think so.
Just to upset you a little bit more, ''victory for freedom and democracy'':

Indeed, Rico is right, what is paid at the moment is none of our business. But, did you predict that JPM was to pay 13 Bln to institutional investors and gov.? No. You did not. No dear, or sir, as what JPM does has nothing to do with WMILT or WMIH; and I'm not in the prediction speculation business, I deal with facts and realities.
Fact: JPM admitted misleading.
Reality: JPM pay's a huge fine, not to us but to other mislead institutes and persons.
Fairy tale: JPM is never going to be held accountable for misleading or wrongdoing again.
Speculation: JPM will never contribute to our escrow account.
I have to go, sorry, times up, dinner, kids, cinema etc.. I often wonder where you find the time to write all your contributions, You must love WAMU .
''they talk about exactly what was won'', did you not read the site?
I did: ''Represents Washington Mutual Liquidating Trust in investigation into potential claims against third-parties, including claims against major brokerage firms for short-selling Washington Mutual Stock and claims against auditors and others for professional malpractice.''
Now dear, tell me, what does ''represents'' mean? Who is ''Washington Mutual Liquidating Trust'' and who are'' major brokerage firms for short-selling Washington Mutual Stock and claims against auditors and others''?
Indeed, Rico is right, what is paid at the moment is none of our business. But, did you predict that JPM was to pay 13 Bln to institutional investors and gov.? No. You did not.
1$ per escrow? You are kidding yourself and others, would that be ''fair''? Closer to 8 - 10$ range, and that would still be very beneficial for JPM, you know that, they know that, I know that. We just give them some time to make the money first.
None of my questions was answered. Admitted responsibility. Giving false information.
So tell me friend, what would you have bought for 200 mil.? What would you have done without jeopardizing the NOLS? Would you have bought a 2bn company for 200mil.? And why months ago?
Never looked better, "JPM admitting responsibility'', I like that.....and I'm not the only one.
''Represents'', Olti, don't disturb him he is still busy...for us!
''Also any civil suits would have to be initiated from B Rosenscum and anyone seeing that happen......NOT.....''
Not yet you mean. If they leave us no choice it is the most logical next step, but we have to wait, Susman will let us know if, how and when.
It's all pretty obvious who is getting what for the moment. I'm proud on you that you predicted this months pending settlements, to be honest, nobody else saw them coming so early. Smart girl....
What a lousy attempt to keep the good man from his work, leave him alone. Be patient, big boy's don't cry.
As if the good man has nothing else to do.....
You will not regret !
