Both VirTra and the NRA would benefit by a relationship of some kind.
The NRA would endorse the "VirTraHOME" sim to its members. VirTra would offer a reasonable discount to NRA members.
VirTra would get instant access to a huge market they'd have to pursue one-at-a-time through regular marketing channels; the NRA would be able to say they're promoting responsible gun ownership, training, and use; no more NIMBYs opposing open-air gun ranges which, let's be honest, do come with a whole set of problems . Win-win.
Lots of co-branding possibilities here.
Andy
"I did ask the NRA if they had told their members about Virtra. "
Whom did you ask at NRA ? The ideal person or department at the NRA would be whomever handles liaison with manufacturers or other firearms-related vendors; an organisation the size of NRA would almost certainly have such an entity.
I'm going to wait until all the filings are in - right up to the 2010 10-K - before I carve a number in stone, but a clear trend is appearing in the numbers so far and if they continue to extrapolate as they have, this Company is worth a whole lot more than its present price. A whole lot more !
Watch for them to open up another Grand Canyon bid/ask spread this afternoon, like they did yesterday. These filthy CrimNakes are going to pull every dirty trick in the book to stop the juggernaut this is becoming.
There were 16 business days ( Dec 22 - Jan 14 ) between the last Q of 2007 and the K that finished off the year 2007.
Now, we've just had - BIFF! SOCK! ZOWIE! POW! ( Batman sound effects ) - 3 Q's for 2008 in one day.
Sounds as though they've got the Q/K "assembly line" running smoothly at this point, so I'd expect the 2008 10-K within a matter of days, maybe even tomorrow or Monday the 24th.
@charlie: would totally depend on the terms of the SRO and how attractive they might seem to a potential investor who wasn't already a FASC Shareholder. It would only attract outside interest if the Rights were made free-trading.
MM's have opened up another huge B / A spread, similar to the tactic they tried late last week before that run started.
Another Q and the K for 2008 and things could really start getting ugly for the CrimNakes; especially if the numbers keep getting better and better as they come closer and closer to "current".
Because those were the relevant reporting periods in the purview of those particular filings.
Let's think out loud here, for a moment....
We now have:
"VirtraRange MIL" for the military
"VirtraRange LE" for law enforcement
How soon before we see "VirtraRange HUNT", "VirtraRange SPORT", and "VirtraRange GAME" ? ?
@Waitedg:
There are several strategies one could contemplate as an existing Shareholder:
If you just want the SRO shares, sit tight and wait for the Offer.
If you want more shares and more SRO shares, buy more shares on the open market before the Effective Date of the SRO.
If the SRO includes an "over-subscription" feature, meaning Shareholders can ask for the Rights other Shareholders don't want, you can get more that way.
If the Rights are made free-trading, you can buy more Rights in the open market, just as you would the stock itself.
All the preceeding options are decided upon by the entity doing the SRO.
@Net-Man, who wrote:
" ...likely had much more information available to shareholders"
No, we didn't. All we really knew was that we had a nearly-bankrupt company and one man - Ross Clarkson - who wasn't going to give up. He didn't, and we didn't.
We had confidence in that man and his integrity and what he was trying to do . A gamble ? You bet it was !
I have absolute confidence in FASC - the Cisco of this decade - and Cal Kantonen.
All it's going to take now is some medium-to-large city or maybe even a state to place a multiple-system order for this model and the lid comes off this pressure cooker.
Once this takes out $.085
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=VTSI&p=D&yr=0&mn=6&dy=0&id=p47685589114
it's gone... way gone !
That was "VirTra Range MIL" for the military; this is for law enforcement type agencies "VirtaRange LE"; the two groupes would have different requirements for their particular needs. It does help point out, though, how easily this thing is going to be customisable for different groupes' requirements. And, as big and as desirable as military customers might be, state and local law enforcement agencies are an even larger target - pardon the pun - market.
News ! The VirtraRange for law enforcement agencies.

This is going to be huger than huge .
Heads up ! Coming alive ! Best volume of 2011 and 2nd best in past 3-1/2 months.
@Net-Man:
Quite so; non-participating existing Shareholders are, unfortunately, diluted. But they can't say they weren't given the chance to avoid the outcome. And if the SRO enables the success of the company doing it, the point is moot. To visit the example I gave you one more time, I doubt any of the shareholders of TransGlobe who passed on the SROs at $.20 are complaining now at $15. Well, maybe a little; more like bemoaning their foolishness for not doing so. I pulled a certificate representing my SRO shares in TransGlobe. It's in my safe now and I take it out once in a while to remind myself how a few dollars can turn themselves into almost a quarter of a million dollars if a person has confidence in the company in which they're investing.
I want to visit another remark from your previous post,
"If revenues are not being generated any new shares won't really help."
If a few more new shares are just what's needed to get those revenues generated, and those few more new shares to get the revenues going are the difference between staying in business or closing the doors, then a few more new shares becomes a rather easy decision, doesn't it ?
Ever watched that classic movie, "African Queen" ? Remember the scene toward the end of the movie where Bogie has been slogging the boat through the swamp all night, and he finally collapses, exhausted, and the camera shot pulls back and we see they're about 100 feet from the open water of the lake ?
Want to stop 100 feet from success if a few more shares means getting to the "open lake" ?
No, I didn't think so.
@Net-Man:
In the case of an SRO, only existing Shareholders get to participate ( unless the Rights are made free-trading ) and the other attractive feature of the SRO is that participating Shareholders don't get diluted because their proportional interest remains the same.
Here's an example:
You and I each own 1000 shares of Company "A" and those 2000 shares total are the only shares. Thus, we each own 50% of Company "A"
We give ourselves a Rights Offering to buy 1 additional Share for each Share we own. That means we can each buy another 1000 shares under the terms of the SRO at whatever price is set as the Offering Price.
So we shoo the moths off our wallets and pony up the money - it goes straight to the Company, by the way - and we buy the additional 1000 shares each and - voila! - now we both own 2000 shares. Guess what ? We still each own 50% of Company "A". No dilution !
And we've been the Company's "investment bankers" in the process, not some Venture Vulture, RegS Shark, or PIPE Predator.
I was a participant in the SROs of a struggling oil and gas company back in the late '90s; they did two of them, once in 1998 and another in 1999. The purpose was to raise the money to be able to stay in a JV in Yemen they had with another company. Those two SROs literally saved the company and kept it in the JV. The stock price at the time of the SROs was about $.20 - twenty cents - Canadian. The stock price now is $15.00 - fifteen dollars - and the company is a solid mid-tier producer doing 10,000 barrels a day.
Any aspersions about Shareholder Rights Offerings will only come from people who are being "cut out of the loop" by one, such as the aforementioned Venture Vultures, RegS Sharks, or PIPE Predators.
I'm all in favour of a Shareholder Rights Offering, if it were structured correctly.
I would also be in favour of an increase in the Authorised Shares, were that deemed advantageous. In retrospect, we should have given Cal authorisation for a billion shares, if he'd asked for them; at the time, though, Cal was still enough of an unknown quantity that we didn't fully appreciate the man and his impeccable integrity.
In the meantime, I highly recommend that everyone...
Buy ALL the FASC you can ! And then, BUY even MORE !
FASC ! The Cisco of this decade !
Ok, looks like $.0042 is going to be the high-water mark for this crank of the dirty little Pump_And_Dump Pump Handle.
Was fun while it lasted; now Over The Cliff and into The Trip-Zero Abyss again until "next time" ( whenever that may be )
$.03 !
Freddy's now been part of "the past" for, what, about 2 full years now, at least ?
And still no proof that he actually paid any real money for the shares he purports he's "bought". ( with what ? Green Stamps ? )
Seems nothing much has happened in the "past" two years, either, come to think of it.
A Transfer Agent has no knowledge of how anyone acquired their shares, or whether any real money was involved in said acquisition.
End of discussion, UNTIL such time as "Fred" provides verifiable, incontrovertible proof that he paid real money consisting of his own personal funds, earned by him, for the shares he claims he's bought.
Definitely to the "next level". The last the penny scam world saw of Bailey, he was the front-man for Joe Lanza's Black Dragon scam, here's their PR when Bailey came on board back in July of 2009
http://www.black-dragonoil.com/pressreleases.php?sec=3&cat=2&pid=15
Guess Clayton and Brandon made him a better offer or Joe Lanza's Big Lies were too much even for Bailey to stomach any longer.
Or..... maybe it was the chance to work out of the "Instant Mogul Office Suite" there at 5057 Keller Springs Road, in the heart of the North Dallas Gold Coast Boiler-Rooms-on-the-Tollway area. With covered parking for the rent-by-the-hour Lambos and Ferraris, of course.
They really are pulling out all the stops this time, though; might even squeak it up to $.0050 before they crank the HypaPumpADumpAScamARama Share Blizzard Machine up to REDLINE RPM and cover the Pink Sheet World in a 10-foot ShareDrift.
It doesn't really matter which plane they put in the air; they're both flying death-trap Edsels. One has been in a crash landing and the other is 30+ years old.
And they think people are going to want to get on either one of them and go somewhere ? They should just turn them both into auxiliary lounges there at Terminal number whatever at JFK. They'd probably make more money than by flying them anywhere.
Let's be more specific, shall we ?
It's their "New, Caribbean Beach Property in sunny.... Wyoming!"
Wyoming will domicile anyone with a pulse and the filing fee. They're the new Nevada as a home for scams.
Pretty much the Final Act Of Desperation, isn't it ?
But funny as all get out.
And, as usual, no verifiable proof of any kind from Fred about his supposed "purchases". Gee, I wonder why ?
I have absolutely no idea, nor do I care; all I know is that the chart and the T&S say it's "Showtime!"
There have been allusions to "something" for quite some time now, and it appears that "time" is now nigh.
UBSS won't fill any $.0004 of any size; what does that tell you ?
Showtime ! Buy 'em up !
You asked
"how long does it take a market to catch up with what's happening here and reflect it's true value?? "
A: As soon as they're fully current in their SEC reporting and people can see the enormity of what's going on and what they have. That's why we're all waiting with bated breath on every new 10-Q or 10-K that shows up on EDGAR.
Here's what's left:
2008 - 3 Q's and a K
2009 - 3 Q's and a K
2010 - 3 Q's and a K
If they drag out these 12 beyond March 31, 2011 then they'll owe a 10-Q for 1Q 2011, as well, in order to be fully current.
But the numbers in the 3Q 2010 10Q and 2011 10K will be recent enough that they should get the train really moving.
MM's have fallen back on the time-honoured ploy of opening a huge B/A spread. They're facing The Moment Of Truth here, give it to 'em !
There aren't going to be any more. They filed enough to run the recent P&D, made their money - from you and the other NewBOBs*, of course - and ran, and now it's over.
It's ok, though, some new bunch of Moose Pasture Perps will pick this one up and run it again. Someday.
*NewBOBs = New Bunch Of Bagholders
Knocking on The Door Of The $.03's.
Hey, relax everybody. It's still early in the day, The Moose Pasture Perps haven't even gotten out of bed yet to drag themselves down to the "Instant Mogul Rent-A-Suite", they were out partying last night on the Addison Strip until the wee hours of the morning. ( with your hard-earned money, of course, they never spend any of their own )
Anyway, I'm sure just one good Big Lie PR and this thing will be well north of a dime in a heartbeat. Yessiree, bob.
Outstanding; I'll alert my counsel to prepare an amicus curiae brief, once they've seen your filing.
Challenge *EVERY* deletion made by the criminally-biased so-called "moderator" of this board !
Exercise YOUR RIGHT to DEMAND a REVIEW !
Then, *DEMAND* the *IMMEDIATE* *REMOVAL* of the criminally-biased so-called "moderator" of this board !
"rocket surgery" is what's done on your brain because there's so very little there upon which to operate.
Well, if this Big Lie PR doesn't jump-start this corpse, it really is all over.
Hey there, 'shot, welcome aboard. This is a fun one, for sure !
