I'm holding 20K shares from the mid .36's.
YRCW just broke through .40. Weeeeeee! Looks like a Short Squeeze starting here!
YRCW (from the 8-k):
"The Company has agreed not to implement the reverse stock split to be approved at the Special Meeting (as defined below) prior to 60 days following the first closing of the sale of the Notes."
The first closing was done yesterday.
If YRCW gets back over $1 in the next 2 months, the R/S will be cancelled. Looks like a push may be coming in the next few weeks.
YRCW reminds a lot of SIRI. Similar set of circumstances. Not saying YRCW will move up to $1+ like SIRI did but anything is possible.
I thought that I read that YRCW cannot R/S until 60 days after closing the financing/additional share issuance. If that is the case, the R/S cannot happen until 2 months from yesterday, at the earliest. Still plenty of time for a nice bounce from current pps level.
Looking good. SNSS another bio looking to bounce off .90.
YRCW upgraded to Buy w/a .55 - .70 price target s/t:
Tuesday, February 23 2010 9:28 AM, EST Analyst upgrades YRC Worldwide to a 'buy,' based on depressed price [The Kansas City Star, Mo.] Knight Ridder/Tribune "Business News "
Feb. 23 --Owners of YRC Worldwide Inc. have seen the stock price tumble sharply in recent weeks. Shares are so low now that one analyst says they're a buy.
Seth Crystall with R. W. Pressprich & Co. in New York issued his buy recommendation Monday largely based on the dramatically reduced price.
He'd called the stock a sell as recently as Jan. 12 , when it had closed at $1.10 .
But YRC shares have lost two thirds of their value in that time. Much of the decline has come since the Overland Park -based company released its year-end financial report Feb. 5 . That also was the last day shares posted an increased value at the daily close of trading.
"Our change in recommendation for the common equity from sell to buy is primarily based on the drop in the company's stock price," Crystall's report said.
Crystall calculated that the company may be able to generate enough earnings before interest expenses, taxes and depreciation and amortization, called EBITDA, to support a price of 79 cents to $1 . He's not ready to value shares that high.
The company hasn't generated positive EBITDA since late 2008, he wrote. And it "faces a strong headwind" in reaching the levels Crystall projects as possible "if normalcy returns to the company's operations over the next few years."
He said the stock could reach 55 cents to 70 cents a share. Shares fell 1 cent Monday and closed at 36 cents .

YRCW breaking through .37, in PM. Looking for a healthy bounce back to the .40's today. gltu
What's with the 49,030,425 AH trade @ .3621 on YRCW? Hmmmm.
What's with the 49M AH trade @ .3621 on YRCW? Hmmmm.
Picked up some YRCW @ .3601 for da bounce!
It just might fill before dessert is served. Enjoy!
Great day indeed. Looking forward to much more next week. Have a great weekend...
Wow! That shit really works (no pun intended)!!!! Good job crep!!! :) Looking forward to your encorr performance on Monday. Is chili on the menu???
Somebody is buying the crap out of XNPT. Not fighting the trend here...
Let it be written, let it be done!
In follow up letter from FDA to XNPT/Glaxo, they write "You've been punked. Did you really think that we would reject your drug?!?!" :)
Someone at the FDA is going to get fired over this decision. Mark my words....
XNPT short squeeze....
XNPT partnership w/Glaxo news just out (interesting timing on this considering the FDA decision):

I think that there is more to this story that will unfold over the coming days (which will benefit shareholders greatly). JMHO

I know, I know...lol
Someone on Yahoo mentioned that they spoke to XNPT IR and news will be out tomorrow morning outlining XNPT's response to the FDA decision. If news is positive, this could bounce big tomorrow. JMHO
6.50 should be the new base here.
Thanks!
YAK, my comment was not directed at you. It was in general. I know that you are playing XNPT, for the bounce. gltu
I was talking to a friend of mine who works at a big bank. He told me that when Obama is scheduled to speak, a blast e-mail goes out to all of the mortgage brokers advising them not to lock in any rates...if Obama wants to help the economy, he needs to stop talking!
XNPT sellers drying up here. Bounce back into the $7's by lunchtime IMO.
One man's garbage is another man's treasure...I like XNPT a lot down here for a BIG bounce.
I'm banking on the same thing w/XNPT. Bottom is in @ 6.65 IMO. The 5-year low for this one was $10 before this sell-off. Big bounce/squeeze coming. gltu
No, RBC lowered their price target for XNPT to $12 after the rejection and they still maintain an outperform rating:

Added more XNPT @ 6.65. Like taking candy from a baby...
Picked up a few XNPT @ 6.80. Overblown selloff here. Should bounce back to the $8's IMO.
I usually prefer the "SUPER DIRTY" moves but will check out YASH anyway...
I think that you should try to work this into your wedding vows. :) Congrats on your engagement!
LOL! OK, mums the word....
YRCW shareholders just approved raising the AS from 125M shares to 2.05 billion shares (and also approved a reverse split, at a later date). Clearly the S&P target of $1.50 did not factor in this significant dilution.
ZOOM getting ready for a breakout here. Check chart on last 2 quarterly filings.
ZOOM ran from under $5 to $14 on the announcement of Q2 financial results, in September 09'.
ZOOM ran from the high $5's to $11.29, in November, when the Q3 financial results were announced.
Q4 financial results expected out this week. I am expecting a repeat of the run from the last 2 Q filings once Q4 results are announced.
With only 7M OS and 2M float, it won't take much to push this one back to $10+.

In ZOOM here @ 6. Check out chart. Only 7M in the float and 300K short. Expecting some very nice financials out of this one later this week that could send this low floater back to the $10+ range.
