Happy with the Q3 report here, no complaints, hope that is not too passe already!
I emailed IR today and got a reply within a couple hours. I have been communicating with them for 3 years and they are quite familiar with my being a shareholder. They are very good about answering questions, write to them yourself at: ir@metatroninc.com. If you want to question them as to who they are then you should identify yourself as a shareholder, interested party, etc., I am sure that if you take the time to identify yourself and make your inquiries reasonably clear, they will reply in kind. In life, reaching out to others in earnest and with a friendly demeanor generally has very good results. You might try it. Good luck.
Thanks for clarification. I segwayed, didn't mean to muddy the distinction in any way.
Glad you related to the metaphor. I relate it to my background as an architect. Sounds like your home is a good design for Vermont, btw.
Yes, trademark and patents are separate issues
Patent filing status update coming soon, according to today's blog
Wait for companys news. Who ever built a company with a smooth ride ahead of them? Ever built a house? Patience is key, as well, smart planning and preparations, which make the defining difference in the level of ultimate success achieved. APPFLIX trademark demonstrates that level of planning. Company recently said it is working with an intellectual property lawyer to protect as much of its technology as possible.
I agree. APPFLIX is such a brilliant name to have trademarked, it will certainly catch the eye of many prospective content providers and as you say may tip the scales in the decision to go with Metatron.
Wanted to believe you, am hoping for funds for first tier content, Big Boys welcome!
Diode, glad to see your posts and enthusiasm have reappeared, things seemed sluggish without your input, especially later in the day, when I tend to check things out. BTW, I agree with you that Appflix is a WONDERFUL trademark, probably significant worth in that name alone, as it is remarkably self-defining. I will write the company and congratulate them on the creativity and the registration.
I think so. Metatron posting Gary Zukav's link is a pretty clear signal, in my humble opinion. I followed the link, says that he has been on Oprah 29 times and she says that "his words are a gift"...a very bright guy with a slightly different slant to a common message of positive energy and spiritual growth...a hearty welcome from me!
Am not Storm but wondering about your question. Maybe since they put forth that cautionary qualifier they have discovered that it is a revenue generator and have not seen a noticeable decline in interest yet, perhaps if they notice a decline, via reduced buying interest, then they will slow down on the pushes. Additionally, they are not promoting the same clients with each push and it is a while before the same app is pushed again, maybe a couple weeks intervene. In time, with more clients, then the repeat time would seemingly expand. The pushes are doing something in addition to promoting and selling a specific app, they are also subtly reminding potential buyers of the existence of Metatron and by offering a variety of pushes it might become imprinted in the collective conscious that Metatron has a large inventory of apps of related interest to choose from or create that perception.
Celtic...GREAT thought, ie, that a GIANT magazine company, such as Meredith Publishing, for example, could have one preeminent magazine title mega apped and sell ALL of its titles and or subscriptions through that one mega app AND have push notifications, AND Autopost by the holiday season( if Autopost stays on schedule as mentioned recently) thusly reaching MILLIONS for very little investment. I would think they would be RUSHING at lightspeed to contact Metatron!
WOW - I guess your recent foretelling that Oprah will promote the app may be SOON, especially if ET mentions it on 11-11 or even better, if they would happen to discuss it, for example, WHAT IF:
O: "I understand you have a new mega app"
ET: "Yes, I am very excited about it, apps are now the hottest thing going"
O: "Please tell everyone exactly what a mega app is...how it works, why it is so exciting."
ET:"I work with i-mobilize by Metatron, Inc., which is a small public company and innovator in the fledgling app industry. With my new mega app, you can buy anything in my online store using your i-phone, i-pad, or new mini i-pad. It's that easy."
Would be an exciting hypothetical conversation for everyone!
Hey, diode, do you happen to have crystal ball???
From 126% to 129% YOY revenue growth in just 3 days!!!
That's great! New blog is great! It's fast becoming an exciting time to be a shareholder.
I am not diode, but I do seem to remember that because I thought it would be a great opportunity, seems to me it was in a blog around mid August.
Please let investor relations know of this, maybe it can be streamlined
Like seeing enthusiasm and anticipation of good things to come.
Do you have any guesses about the pps for 6 months, one year?
I am all for legitimacy and good discussions, thanks. It is always possible that there are misunderstandings, but they always come out in the wash. You are well intentioned, that is what matters. Good point, too, btw, that ETV would only choose a legitimate company. Now it appears that ETV is more excited by the sales numbers since push notifications has boosted sales and it plans more promotion of the apps, which further underscores the legitimacy.
I rarely agree with anyone on everything but very recently I have come to see you in a different light and believe now that you are trustworthy, especially since Storm seems to like you. Your brand of communication is reflective of a younger culture perhaps. I am getting more used to it. I thought you were a bully and maybe I was not accurate about my impression, perhaps I mistook a brand of passionate, intelligent, brash-forthrightedness as something else. I apologize. I think in the long run you are ok...you were very cordial yesterday and answered my string of questions very rationally and reasonably, so thanks... and I intend to use you as the resource you've so generously offered. You do seem to have a rare grasp of matters.
Storm, you are a wonderful resource to me as an investor and shareholder of long standing. I have always found investor relations at Metatron to be wonderfully interactive, in fact, I was shocked and pleasantly surprised with my first few communications to investor relations, never expecting much of a reply or any reply at all. Instead, my concerns have been answered most every time. I have been thanked when making suggestions and answered in detail when submitting inquiries. Recently, I was again surprised by the fine replies I have received concerning my inquiries about such matters as intellectual property rights and Autopost, which intrigues me to no end. Given the current pace of development and client augmentations, I am again impressed and amazing that investor relations at Metatron takes the time to support my questions and concerns to the remarkable extent that I have been the beneficiary of lately. I am very satisfied with the current rate of growth and think that it foreshadows great things ahead. Stop a minute and reflect on the international nature of our business here...up and running 24 hours a day worldwide and only 3 employees, pretty darn amazing. More amazing is the number of countries where we have sales and the significance that about half of the sales are out of the US, too. I am convinced by you and diode that it is a matter of time before explosive growth occurs. I highly encourage long time shareholders along with newbies and wannabes to contact investor relations and lay out their concerns and suggestions to them and see how considerately their messages are handled. I believe in these people. People keep bashing the stock for being a "pinkie". It is the only "pinkie" that I own and that is not a factor at all in my esteem for the promise of i-Mobilize. Things have to start somewhere, but as the old sages say, it is not where you start that matters, it is where you end up.
That is very exciting. I think there is much untapped potential sales in ETV apps and have been enthusiastic about him since first learning that he was going to be apped by Metatron. I will be eager to learn more about what ETV does to promote its i-Mobilize apps.
Amazing ad impressions numbers, no very long ago I was hoping we would top 10 million for the year and already surpassed!
Will look forward to seeing how the new push improves the sales of this app during the next 24 hours.
Excellent suggestion, positive energy can work wonders, some people call it prayer, actually.
I think that they were sincere at the time and thought it would be a game changer. Maybe they read too much into it and were disappointed themselves? Also, just perhaps, I have wondered from time to time if they had something else in mind when they made the "game changing" comment and it did not transpire at the last minute, perhaps Mediafly was just part of what they had hoped to announce then, just a possibility, who knows?
Diode...I emailed IR today they replied, "...Given our resources we are doing all we can to patent key technologies and will update everyone when its appropriate. Autopost will be ready by peak holiday season, but some of that is out of our hands, ie Apple."
Shyness might account for what appears passivity, but am glad you think that he is getting more attuned to promotion. With his credentials he can certainly tap a few shoulders.
So perhaps he is shy?
I guess you are familiar about the fact that MRNJ had discussions with Sony in April/May and nothing transpired, that MRNJ was QUITE exuberant about it and left some astonishing blogs regarding it??? I did some research then and found that Sony has its own app development subsidiary. Are you sure they don't get apps yet, or playing dumb like a fox?
Why do you think that ET is not big on promotion like his competitors...is it about being fiscally conservative for him or some philosophy that does not embrace conventional business style?
Autopost sounds like a REALLY BIG deal if it works as suggested reaching untold millions, etc., do you think, given your insights, that any big companies are eyeing MRNJ? I mean, if autopost is a revolutionary new way to market cheaply to millions and millions of potential customers it should not remain an obscurity for long...why would the big boys turn a deaf ear??? I mean they wouldn't all rush to copy the technology, as you say, that would be expensive for them too, and they's end up in a big scuabble about who got there first, I suppose. Why not let little old MRNJ prove it works and then snap it up and avoid r&d, does that seem at all plausible as a scenario that might unfold?
If the new client is a regular contributor to the Oprah website and more of a self promotor than ET, do you think that Oprah is more likely to promote the regular contributor over ET?
Do you think that MRNJ could sell IP rights to autopost with a contingency that they retain the rights to use it as well? That might give them the millions they need and allow them to break into the top tier at the same time.
I am not trying to be unreasonable with my question here, but please help me fill in the void in my thoughts, if you will...why would Oprah, I mean...what would motivate Oprah to promote ETV's apps and new person's apps? I am foggy on that point, thanks.
Additionally, the tricky part seems to be the timing...having something available at the precise time it is in greatest demand in an ever-changing and evolving climate is key, the speed that it transpires given the relative timeframe that things are taking place in the app revolution.
If autopost is indeed a uniquely patentable form of intellectual property, then I am wondering if they may have already gotten it to a lawyer and registered for patent pending? Perhaps they can license it to the big powers that be, for example, like Sony which they talked to last April...I believe recalling that the last mention of Sony on that situation said something to the effect that they might work together in the future. A partner like Sony would have access to significant investment capital, of course. If MRNJ can get to a point it can license such a method then the revenues from that could be the springboard to top tier content.
Reassuring to see the various clients doing promotion on their end, not only because it seems logical but because it must also be an indication that they are pleased with their mega app results and want to actively augment more to achieve optimal sales.
