That's exactly what I've been saying. But some here keep thinking that just uplisting is such a blessed event all by itself.
Kelt
Yes I saw that. They were down to $6.60 before announcing that anyway.
Kelt
Another example of uplisting without news catalysts as back up.Oncosec uplisted last week at $7.60/share.They are now at $6+-

Cellceutix Poster at ASCO 2015 Attracts Attention of Industry and Academia
BEVERLY, MA--(Marketwired - June 03, 2015) - Cellceutix Corporation (OTC: CTIX) (the "Company"), a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company developing innovative therapies with oncology, dermatology, anti-inflammatory and antibiotic applications, is pleased to provide shareholders insight to our presentation of certain clinical data at the annual American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting in Chicago that concluded on Tuesday, June 2, 2015.
Cellceutix's poster provided an overview of the Company's ongoing Phase 1 clinical trial to evaluate the safety and preliminary efficacy of Kevetrin as a monotherapy (single-agent treatment) for patients with advanced solid tumors. The study has demonstrated the safety of Kevetrin administration over repeated cycles. In addition, increases in p21 expression were shown in a number of the patients in multiple cancers and p21 activity appears to be dose related. Cellceutix showed that Kevetrin may become an important therapy in the treatment of gynecological cancers/ovarian cancers.
The poster was visited by industry and academia, including key opinion leaders, representatives of large and small pharmaceutical companies, leading universities, foundations and leading international cancer scientists interested in information on Kevetrin and its ability to act upon p53, an important therapeutic target in oncology as a master regulator of the cell cycle.
Cellceutix is developing Kevetrin as a monotherapy due to its unique mechanism of action to help restore p53 function. The objective of the therapy is to trigger the natural responses of apoptosis, or programmed cell death, and cell cycle arrest. Combined with its favorable safety and pharmacokinetic profile, Kevetrin is a strong candidate not only as a potential stand-alone therapy, but also in combination with other treatments, including immunotherapies, as part of the next generation in cancer care.
"The Cellceutix poster at ASCO brought great interest to Kevetrin with data suggesting that Kevetrin can reactivate p53 with very limited toxicity as a front-line treatment for cancer," stated Dr. Krishna Menon, Cellceutix Chief Scientific Officer. "Although the framework of the trial and ASCO guidelines prevented us from disclosing certain information, these experienced scientists took note of the gynecological cancer patients in the trial and extrapolated the data to pose many questions. Several companies and institutions wanted to discuss the possibility of Kevetrin in combination with their drugs or therapies to potentially increase efficacy and reduce or avoid side effects in a variety of cancers, including some rare, hard-to-treat and pediatric cancers. This is akin to the Kevetrin and sunitinib combination tested in a renal cancer line that generated very optimistic results. Kevetrin will continue to be developed in collaborations to become the compound of choice for the treatment of many cancers."

I edited my post to add : "It may depend on what the definition of "is" is?
Kelt
Define "shortly" ;)
I think it depends on what the definition of "is" is?
Kelt
The 2% are the ones who, though just as fallible, are honest and sincere and share the most insightful (and usable) DD and thoughts/ideas/ponderings.
Without them this is an asylum run by the inmates :0
Kelt
"the events".That was an intriguing choice of words :)
Kelt
You're just trying to find out how many idiots there are on this board ;)
Kelt
Woof-Woof ;)
Kelt
Thanks.I know we have seen pre market trades of CTIX here but I assume one has to meet certain criteria to be authorized to do so as well as the broker being willing to provide that service.I'm not interested in that kind of trading myself (too easy to get hammered) :)
Kelt
Dr.Melon?? :0
Kelt
Maybe it's your broker because it doesn't explain the many times we have seen pre market trades with CTIX.If I have time I'll call my broker and see what they say.
Kelt
I think you have to check with your broker on how to arrange a pre-market trade on the pinks.I think you have to meet certain criteria to qualify.I've never tried myself.I'm also certain that each broker has their own rules/hoops to go through to trade pinks pre-market.
If you check, let us hear what you find out.
Thanks
Kelt
CTIX can be traded pre-market.Not after the market closes though. We have seen pre-market trades here many times.
Kelt
Think of this also.If Leo is/will be wheeling and dealing with Big Pharma,he will want a "robust" and rising SP.Otherwise Big P will treat CTIX as "promising" but "starving"and coming from a position of weakness and not strength. And any offers will reflect that view of either weakness or strength.
Kelt
Dana Farber, not CTIX,is presenting the poster showing (essentially) that Kevetrin works.Huge in my estimation.
If Leo PR's just something to that tune on Monday, the Poo-Poo will hit the fan :)
Kelt
I believe that's what Karin is aiming for.
Hope all is well.Next week should be interesting to say the least.
Kelt
Let's see,,,we've been waiting for Dana Farber to say that Kevetrin works for almost 3 years now.
Today Dana Farber IS saying that Kevetrin works.
Some people are still not happy?????????????????
Kelt
I think Karin, herself, mentioned someone she knows attending ASCO.
Kelt
Any "news" that is presented over the weekend does not have to be "PR'd" until Monday pre-market.
Kelt
I can't PM but Leo is no "fibber".I don't see why he can't do both though.
Kelt
I can't put my finger on Leo's statement but he was very clear about the concerns of uplisting without having "back-up" news in the wings. He knows the games that can and probably will be played depressing the SP by big players at the expense of "us little guys".I said it yesterday and I'll say it again,I think Leo is in more control of the uplist timing than people think and he is waiting for the news catalysts to be complete and then complete the uplist with "news we can use".
Kelt
I think a lot of us "old timers"here are on the same page ;)
Kelt
Did you also notice the term "monotherapy"in the PR?
Kelt
I still think that Leo is in more control over the uplist timing than people think.I think he is waiting on certain catalysts to be complete,(deal(s),data, etc.)for release during and following the uplist which will do far more than "Russell" would even on a good day.
That said,I don't think Leo is "sweating the Russell".With the right catalysts, institutional buying is a foregone conclusion in my opinion.
Kelt
Very well said.
Kelt
I was there as well and agree with your view.Leo doesn't need the "Russell"to try to boost the SP even if it would.(Without news the boost would be short lived anyway).
Remember that Leo has investors interests at heart.I'm sure he has other "aces" up his sleeve waiting for the right moment.
Uplisting is great but I still say Leo will do it on his terms and timing.
Kelt
Oy-Vey,,,another anti CTIX yo-yo.
Kelt
I had 4 months of pre-op chemo for bladder ca.(2 weeks on and one week off).No radiation though. They continuously checked me for mouth ulcerations but I never developed any.(I was on Gemzar and Cisplatin).Radiation may have increased the likely-hood but I didn't have that. They did seem surprised that I didn't develop any though.
It's tough enough on the patient going through treatments and in my experience of seeing what my family went through made it tougher.I was able to take the "pain" but I had a hard time handling the anguish that my family endured.
My heartfelt prayers and best wishes for you and your family.
Kelt
I don't bother with the "ignore" feature.I just read posts by those with level heads and are consistent with their stated positions.I've been here for 3+ years and on IHUB for 5+ years and there are "Yo-YO's" on every board.
So I only read and respond to those who are consistent, reliable (in terms of honesty) and have a grasp of the DD.
The reason I don't "ignore" is so I can see who my "enemies" are and figure out what they are up to.But I don't waste my time chasing them. The bashers are easy to spot and even provide some "entertainment" value. The "insidious" ones are the posters who flip-flop from one side to another depending on which way the wind is blowing. Those are the ones to keep in the corner of your eyes. Those are the "crooks"who will take others to the cleaners if they could.
Kelt
That is soooo true.Just about every company that I watch uplist seems to go through a "Rite of Passage" by the big players after the uplist.
Leo knows that (I think somewhere he even mentioned that was something he wanted to avoid)
So many here think that the uplisting,by itself,is going to propel the SP.That is what causes many to get discouraged after the uplist and then the "disgruntled" investor sells and makes it worse for themselves.
The science and progress will move the SP.Not the uplist.Leo knows that.
Kelt
Somehow I think Leo is coordinating the Nasdaq approval and the SEC registration so that they occur according to his preferred timing.
Kelt (BWTFDIK)
It seems a wee bit foggy on what "kinds"of news is permissible though. Can you make sense of it?
Kelt
From today's PR:
" We are pleased with the meticulous care that Dana-Farber and partners have taken in the clinical trial of Kevetrin providing us with exciting data as we move forward with our plans to engage with the FDA for a mid-stage trial in solid tumors in 2015."
Note that they (CTIX) are receiving "exciting data"from Dana Farber. They may not be able to release it yet but they DO have it!!!
Kelt
Yes Keemosabi, some "Longs" here speak with "forked tongue" ;)
Kelt
Because it contains old news that we already know.Circa 3/31/15.Nothing that cant be found on their website or other sources of public info.
Kelt
Thanks Wild!
I wanted to ask him that last week but was afraid he was getting "bombarded" by whiners so I held off.
Kelt
Pass the popcorn please.
Kelt
Just sitting on the bleachers ,eating my popcorn and hotdogs and washing it down with some Guinness :)
The "stand up comedy" here is outstanding!!
