White House reaches out to Venezuela, a longtime foe, amid Russia crisis
Annie Linskey, Samantha Schmidt, Ana Herrero - 1h ago
The potential for warming relations between the Biden administration and Maduro’s regime, which is being investigated by an international criminal court for crimes against humanity, illustrates how global relations and values are being scrambled during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

What the fuck is wrong with Biden? He searches for crazy despots that he can enrich and does nothing to utilize our own oil resources. I know, it will take a month to ramp up production here, yada, yada, yada.
Does Biden think the war in Ukraine will end in less than a month, and then he can remove sanctions from Russia? Is he really contemplating enriching Iran, so they can hurry along their nuclear ambitions, while funding terrorism around the world?
He ran for president touting his foreign policy experience. Well, listen here........
FLASHBACK: Obama Defense Sec. says Biden as VP was wrong on nearly every big foreign policy issue
But one member of former President Barack Obama’s team who wasn’t too sure how Biden would handle foreign policy issues as Commander-in-Chief was Robert Gates, the former defense secretary. He ran for president touting his foreign policy experience. Well, listen here........
In a memoir, Gates alleged Biden had been "wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades." https://www.foxnews.com/politics/flashback-obama-defense-sec-biden-wrong-foreign-policy
Joe Biden's History of Making the Wrong Call
Weapons of mass destruction Biden's biography on the White House website touts his credentials as a former chairman or ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee who's been "at the forefront of issues and legislation related to ... weapons of mass destruction." Scott Ritter, the chief United Nations weapons inspector in Iraq prior to the invasion, probably wouldn't agree. In 2002, Ritter said "Sen. Joe Biden is running a sham hearing. It is clear that Biden and most of the Congressional leadership have pre-ordained a conclusion that seeks to remove Saddam Hussein from power regardless of the facts, and are using these hearings to provide political cover for a massive military attack on Iraq."
The Iraq War Biden voted for the Iraq invasion of 2003. He has since said it was a mistake to invade the country.

Joe Biden's Approval Rating Fails to Rise Among Independents After State of the Union—Poll

I dare say if Israel was up against the wall you may well sing a different tune
Looks like that won't be too far into the future. Iran, with the help of Biden initiatives, will soon be a menace to Isreal and the world.
Biden Shatters Israel's Delusions
Both before the talks were initiated in Vienna, and since the talks commenced, in the interests of convincing Iran to agree to a deal, Biden ended enforcement of the most significant sanctions Trump had placed on Iran's nuclear operations. He delisted Iran's Yemeni proxy, the Houthis, from the State Department's formal list of foreign terrorist organizations. And Biden convinced U.S. allies to unfreeze Iranian funds held in their banks due to Iran's sponsorship of terrorism, in the hopes of proving his benign intentions to the ayatollahs.
But then, last Wednesday, Gabriel Noronha, a former Iran specialist at the State Department, published details of the concessions Malley has already agreed to on his Twitter feed. Noronha wrote that he received the details of the U.S. concessions from his former colleagues at the State Department and National Security Council, as well as from the European Union delegations to the talks. Noronha wrote that his associates, all "career" officers rather than political appointees, "are so concerned with the concessions being made by Rob Malley in Vienna that they've allowed me to publish some details of the coming deal in the hopes that Congress will act to stop the capitulation."
Malley's capitulation includes delisting Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps from the State Department's list of Foreign Terror Organizations and ending U.S. sanctions on Iran's senior terror masters—including the terror chiefs responsible for the massacre of 241 U.S. Marines at the Marine barracks in Beirut in 1983 and the 1994 bombing of the Jewish community center in Buenos Aires in 1994, where 85 people were killed.
Malley has agreed to end sanctions on 112 entities and people tied to Iranian dictator Ali Khamenei, through which Khamenei has accrued massive wealth and organized Iran's global terror and weapons procurement networks. Malley is willing to end sanctions on Iranian entities and individuals involved in the torture and murder of Iranian civilians.
All told, Noronha's colleagues said Malley has agreed to sanctions relief that will provide Iran with an immediate cash infusion of $90 billion, as well as an additional $50-55 billion annually in oil and gas profits.
On the nuclear front, beyond a few formalities, Biden's deal will enable Iran to move full-speed ahead with its development of advanced centrifuges and continue its race to the nuclear finish line. All limitations—which are largely unenforceable—will be removed in two and a half years. And Iran's nuclear program, which constitutes a material breach of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty of which Iran is a signatory, will be legitimated by the UN and the U.S. government.
All of these concessions guarantee two consequences. First, Iran will go to war. As U.S. Army Col. (res.) Joel Rayburn, who served as Trump's envoy to Syria and in a range of senior positions related to the Middle East in Central Command, the National Security Council and the State Department explained in a recent interview with Newsweek, with the JCPOA's implementation in 2015, Iran received billions of dollars in sanctions relief. It used the funds to expand its wars against Israel, against U.S. forces deployed in the Middle East and against Iran's Sunni Arab neighbors the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Iran fought its various foes both directly and through its proxies in Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon and the Palestinian territories.
The $90 billion that Malley and his colleagues in the Biden administration are poised to now give Iran guarantee that Iran will massively escalate its aggression against these actors.
The second consequence of the new nuclear deal is that Iran will become a nuclear-armed state unless Israel attacks and destroys a sufficient number of Iran's nuclear installations to significantly scale back Iran's nuclear capabilities.

Looks like we will soon have another (and crazier) bully to back down from, not to long into the future.
"Truly moronic reasoning, we're done."
Another suffering from Trump derangement. Moronic reasoning to point out that it seems a bit incredulous to single out one man/family, when there is so much graft within our political system?
Oh, just blow it off if it a Clinton, Biden or other Democrat. But to the gallows if a Republican gets called out for the same. LOL!!
You guys really are tools. LOL!!
So this didn't register with you?
You missed the whole point of my response. Hunter and the Biden family was just one example of the graft and chicanery within our political system.
That you fail to acknowledge that and choose to spew you vindictiveness towards one person and/or family, is evidence enough of your unbridled political bias. A bias so pervasive, that you are blind or intentionally remain ignorant of the big picture. Or perhaps you are so obsessed with Trump, that you are a bit deranged.
So be it. Probably why this country is so fucked up. It is always them, not ours, that feels the wrath of wrong doing.
Will we have Putin continually blackmailing us?..
Let's see.....
Chechnya, Georgia, Eastern Ukraine, Crimea, and various poisonings.
Oh we hollered a bit, but most of these things were soon forgotten, as the news bits moved on to other daily crisis.
But as we seemed to accept these atrocities performed by Putin, he did not. Thus, we are where we are today.
I'm sure he's much worse than these patriots:
So, Ivanka and Jarod are accused of getting breaks in real estate and selling clothing. LOL!! We could be here a year listing all the nefarious deals that current and former presidents and politicians carve out for themselves and/or family members. You are acting like this is some uncommon occurrence in American Politics. If I remember correctly, Harry Truman was the only President to leave office with less than he had when he took office.
But you might want to consider to what lengths some would go to, to grab the all mighty dollar.
Let's look at Hunter's quest for Dollars for just a minute....
Hunter Biden holds stake in Chinese firm that invested in companies sanctioned by US
The investment firm that Hunter Biden continues to hold a 10% stake in has invested in Chinese Communist Party-linked firms the United States has sanctioned, including a technology company accused of assisting in human rights abuses against the Uyghurs and a nuclear company that allegedly conspired to acquire U.S. nuclear technology to benefit China’s military.
The younger Biden still holds a 10% equity stake in Bohai Harvest RST (Shanghai) Equity Investment Fund Management Company, according to Chinese business records, despite pledges from President Joe Biden that his family would not have any foreign business ties and White House press secretary Jen Psaki saying in February that the president's son "has been working to unwind" his stake in the firm.

That is just a small taste of Hunter's lack of morals and patriotism, when it comes to gathering in the shekels for the Biden family. All with the blessings of dear old Dad. And we have not even mentioned Joe's brother and other family members......

Ex-girlfriend tells Hunter Biden grand jury about lavish spending
By Elizabeth Rosner and Bruce Golding
February 21, 2022
Also causing Hunter sleepless nights is Zoe Kestan, 28, a one-time Pornhub “model” and “lingerie entrepreneur” who stayed with Hunter at Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont hotel in 2018 during one of his extended crack benders.
She testified for five hours Feb. 15 before the grand jury in Delaware that is investigating Hunter’s tax affairs, and reportedly provided details of his lavish spending sprees. Also testifying last week was Hunter’s “baby mama,” former stripper Lunden Roberts, who sued him for paternity of their now-3-year-old daughter, whom he has never acknowledged.
Her turn on the witness stand came immediately after an appearance by the former stripper with whom Biden, 52, has an out-of-wedlock child, the source said.
Kestan testified about shacking up with Biden at high-priced hotspots including the Four Seasons, Mercer, SIXTY SoHo and Soho Grand hotels in Manhattan and at the Hollywood Roosevelt, NoMad and Jeremy West Hollywood in Los Angeles, the source said.
At one point, the source said, Kestan recalled a month-long stay at LA’s celebrity-friendly Chateau Marmont, the scene of former “Saturday Night Live” star John Belushi’s fatal 1982 overdose.
It’s also the place where Biden admittedly “learned how to cook crack” before being “blacklisted” over complaints tied to his drug use during a five-month period in 2018, as revealed in his 2021 memoir, “Beautiful Things.”
The probe reportedly involves Hunter Biden’s controversial, overseas business dealings. Last month, a partial copy of a subpoena surfaced that showed JPMorgan Chase Bank was ordered to turn over records related to any transactions involving him and the Bank of China

IRS Issued Grand Jury Subpoena to Hunter Biden's Bank for Probe Into Family's China Connections: Doc By Richard Moorhead
January 31, 2022 at 1:40pm
A subpoena served to JP Morgan Chase Bank reveals that the institution was required to produce documents related to Hunter Biden’s Chinese business dealings, in connection to the ongoing criminal tax fraud investigation of the president’s younger son.
The subpoena, issued by the Justice Department’s federal prosecutor in Delaware, requested that representatives of Chase appear in federal court in June of 2019.
The subpoena required Chase to produce “all records, documents and accounts” of transactions between four individuals and a list of several Chinese banks and financial organizations.
It required Chase to submit information regarding any potential dealings of Biden with several Chinese banks and also requested the same of James Biden, a brother of the president who has been previously criticized for his extensive Chinese business ties, and two Biden business associates.
The two Biden business associates listed in the document are Eric Schwerin and Devon Archer. Archer is a longtime partner of Biden who was convicted of financial crimes in 2018.
The document expressly identifies the following businesses: Owasco, Skaneateles, RSP Holdings, RSP Investments, RSTP II Alpha, RSTP II Bravo, Seneca Global Advisors, Aqaba International, Rosemont Seneca, Burisma Holdings, Bohai Harvest RST Shanghai Equity, Robinson Walker, Hudson West, European Energy and Infras Group Limited and Bladen Enterprises Limited.
The revelation of an ongoing criminal inquiry surrounding Hunter Biden served as tacit vindication for outlets that had been reporting on one of Biden’s laptops, which revealed — among other things — his involvement in political nepotism and business dealings utilizing his family name.
A letter issued with the subpoena warned Chase that disclosing its existence to any third party would violate federal law.
The subpoena reveals that the investigation into Hunter Biden was in full swing well before the 2020 presidential election and the release of the longtime drug addict’s infamous laptop, raising questions as to why Biden declined to disclose its existence.

If it's next month or the month after that when it's higher than before the pandemic, so what?
That is speculation, contrary to what is happening right now.
Three economic factors could put a crimp in continued labor participation.
1.) The almost assured interest rate hikes.
2.) The increased cost of energy.
3.) Inflation
Perhaps you forgot or are too young to remember the Carter Administration. Those three factors were the cause of a deep recession and an increase of unemployment. I remember that period clearly, as it was a time when I worked at a steel mill and we steelworkers watched as jobs vanished in that industry, as well as the automotive industry.
Hopefully, things won't get as bad as that time. But the potential for a recession is looming large.
One other factor may add to that possibility. Debt. A good explanation of how that may impact our economy is noted in this link.........
Another economic recession in 2022?
https://thehill.com/opinion/finance/588194-another-economic-recession-in-2022
The continued upswing in labor participation is still uncertain.
and the beginning of the arrival of Infrastructure funds in the States are working.
Just one comment about this statement by you. The infrastructure bill could be impacted by rising inflation, as goods and services rise in cost. That will impact how far the funds could go toward meeting the tasks outlined in the bill.
Of course, I could be wrong. And I hope I am. But nothing is for certain right now, as chaos and uncertainty around the world seems to be increasing.
Labor market participation is higher than before pandemic.
I beg to disagree. According to government stats, Labor Market Participation is "The highest since March 2020 (the beginning of the pandemic). The link below includes a 5 year Labor Participation Chart. Please note that Labor Participation, as shown on the chart, has not even approached levels recorded prior to 2018.

Biden injects Trumpism into SOTU to save Democrats' midterm chances
Take off the masks! Fund the police! Make our cities safe again! Bring back American manufacturing! At many points, President Biden's State of the Union address sounded like a Donald Trump rally. And yet, all these calls to action represent the opposite of the radical left-wing policies that Biden and his party have embraced during recent years - policies that have caused the dismal current state of the union.
Polls show Biden in trouble with just about every constituency besides his far left-wing base. Currently the president's approval rating is an abysmal 37 percent. Minorities, blue-collar workers, and independents are all abandoning Biden in droves. These voters feel increasingly alienated by today's Democratic Party. Oppressive COVID mandates, the demonization of law enforcement, a growing tolerance for violent crime, and consistently reckless government spending have created a branding disaster for Democrats.
Finally, the president made a call strangely like that of former President Trump to bring back American manufacturing. Biden's claim to have created the most jobs in history is not even clever enough to be a sleight of hand. The closing of the American economy because of COVID created the sharpest increase in unemployment since the Great Depression. Becoming president as the Trump-funded vaccine came to public distribution is no accomplishment.

Nah, didn't try to cop out. Bone spurs would not have worked anyway. I played football, so it would have been the asthma route for me, had I had the inclination.
How about yourself?
I served from '65 to '69. I enlisted as a 17 year old. Enough said about all that.
Confirming moral imbecility.
That being said, I still think the country, as a whole, would be better off if he had been reelected.
Your opinion and my opinion. I respect that. Guess that is what makes the world go round. But, it would be a better world, if it were not for sanctimonious assholes like you trying to dictate what others think, by hurling insults.
I hate getting caught up in that crap, but sometimes I don't have the strength to not reply in turn.
That you weren't embarrassed by a semiliterate fat ass with the vocabulary of 5th grader makes you a moral imbecile.
Listen Skippy, you need to read a couple of my latest posts.
I have no great love for Trump and felt embarrassed on many occasions, by him.
That being said, I still think the country, as a whole, would be better off if he had been reelected.

Gee Skippy, you are starting to remind me of the definition of a Computer Commando. Did they allow "Weekend Warriors" rides on Black Hawks? LOL!!
If people approved of Biden last night it's because he copied what tRump said.

Biden’s unserious State of the Union

Start with the fact that the mask mandate Nancy Pelosi lorded over her members for years was suddenly lifted the day before the speech, showing that “Follow the science” was a bald-faced lie. Next up, Biden begging for unity, then accusing Republicans of only helping the rich.
It was quite the performance. After years of bashing Donald Trump, Biden stole his stump speech. He rebranded Build Back Better as Build a Better America, and got cheap applause for claiming he was going to get businesses to stay in the US. This after Democratic administrations have signed trade deal after trade deal that have taken industries to China and Mexico.
It was an unserious speech for deadly serious times. Lord help us.
https://nypost.com/2022/03/01/bidens-unserious-state-of-the-union/
And it was just another typical Biden Blunder, when he mistook Ukrainians for Iranians. Even Kamala twitched when he did that. LOL!!
ForReal, Why press on the negatives?
Perhaps because I am somewhat of a cynic, when it comes to politics. It kind of irks me when I hear how all wonderful things are under Biden.
And you know how things really are, don't you.
Those that voted for Hillary, could find no right in whatever Trump did, simply because they voted for her.
Hey, I voted for Trump. Should you expect any less from me?
Can you stand such honesty? LOL!!
Actually, I feel kind of sorry for Biden. He never was known as an intellectual heavyweight. And he is now in a position that is an embarrassment to me and many others, as he stumbles along.
78% of Americans approve of President Joe Biden’s speech because they trust him.
Biden SOTU draws lowest ‘very positive’ reaction in 15 years according to CNN poll
"While Biden drew rave reviews from the usual array of media cheerleaders and Democratic Party sycophants, the numbers from CNN’s polling could be an early indicator that the convenient timing of the rollback of mask and vaccine mandates, both of which are as unpopular as they are polarizing, may not be enough to stave off what many have predicted could be an electoral bloodbath when voters have their first chance to cast a verdict on the administration.
According to CNN’s numbers, only 41 percent of respondents had a “very positive” reaction to Biden’s speech, the lowest since 2007 when President George W. Bush was in the White House,"
” not horrific but when compared to last year’s Biden address to a joint session of Congress which was 10 points higher, a big drop off from early liberal euphoria before reality set in.
“That’s about 10 points lower on the very positive scale, 51 percent, last year, you see 41 percent today,” he said.

Still aren't over his loss yet, are you?
It is what it is my friend. But I could ask you the same about Trump beating Hillary. NO??
Personally, I think Trump was a dick. But then, I don't view a presidential election as some sort of personality contest. And Biden is as much a blowhard as Trump, if truth be told.
Lies, damned lies and the truth about Joe Biden

And I do believe the country would have been better off during a second Trump term as president, although I cringed every time I heard him speak or read one of his tweets.
Funny that no one keeps a count of Biden lies, like they did Trump.
But, then again, they all lie, in my opinion. It is something, sadly, that we have come to expect.
The Recount probably regrets its poll asking if President Biden has improved the state of the union
Posted at 5:17 pm on March 2, 2022 by Brett T.
The Recount is pretty liberal; a quick check of their timeline shows they recently retweeted Rex Chapman along with video of Whoopi Goldberg on “The View” scolding Rep. Lauren Boebert. They decided to take a poll not after President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address, but before it, and then they were going to read the results live on their SOTU livestream. These were probably not the results they were looking for.

Why, do you feel he should have tried to extort him like your hero tried?
OH Please!! You critcize others for believing false narratives and then espouse your own ability to do so, because Nancy and her crew cooked up some bullshit narrative to try and oust Trump from office. They even went so far as to indict (preliminary to impeachment) and were later thwarted when the Senate failed to convict.
Here is the other side of the story....
AP explains: The delay in US aid to Ukraine
By ANDREW TAYLOR
September 23, 2019
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration’s delayed release of $250 million in military aid to Ukraine is coming under new scrutiny in light of a whistleblower complaint about President Donald Trump. Here’s a look at what’s known about the gap in U.S. assistance.
The United States began providing military aid to the government of Ukraine shortly after Russia illegally annexed Ukraine’s Crimean peninsula in 2014. With Ukraine’s new president still grappling with separatist rebels in the east, the aid has long been viewed as a measure of Washington’s determination to push back against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
But over the summer, it emerged that the Trump administration was delaying the release of this year’s $250 million installment.
It is a decision cloaked in mystery. By late August, according to congressional aides, the White House budget office acknowledged it was responsible for the delays, saying a policy review was underway.
But there is another possible explanation for the temporary suspension of aid. At the time, Ukraine was transitioning to a new, democratically-elected government and a review of the aid may have been justified under such circumstances. Trump has repeatedly said U.S. allies need to spend more on their own defense.
Asked Sept. 2 about Ukraine aid, Vice President Mike Pence said he did not raise the Bidens at a meeting with Zelenskiy, though he stressed he told Zelenskiy that the U.S. government has “great concerns about issues of corruption.”
To invest additional taxpayer money in Ukraine, “the President wants to be assured that those resources are truly making their way to the kind of investments that will contribute to security and stability in Ukraine,” Pence said. “The simple fact is that the United States has carried the load on most of the security investments in Ukraine.”

So, on went the charade, having been given an opportunity by a whistleblower, that did not like Trump and which provided third hand information (he was not privy to the call).
REVEALED: Whistleblower who claims Trump repeatedly pressured Ukraine president to investigate Joe Biden and his son Hunter for corruption during phone call 'DID NOT actually listen to the communication between the leaders'
The whistleblower who claimed Donald Trump repeatedly pressured the Ukraine president to investigate Joe Biden and his son Hunter for corruption during a phone call did not actually listen to the communication between the leaders, it has been reported.
A source told CNN that the official 'did not have direct knowledge of the communications' instead relying on 'learning information that was not obtained during the course of their work'.
It is those details that have reportedly played a role in a decision that the 'complaint did not fit the requirements under the intelligence whistleblower law', the official added.

'Nobody Pushed Me.' Ukrainian President Denies Trump Pressured Him to Investigate Biden's Son
BY TARA LAW
SEPTEMBER 25, 2019 4:30 PM EDT
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky sat beside President Donald Trump on Wednesday as he denied that Trump pressured him to investigate former Vice President and current 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son for his work in the country.
The two leaders held a meeting at the U.N. one day after Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that the House would launch a formal impeachment inquiry into Trump following reports of the President’s phone call with Zelensky in July. Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Zelensky declared that he had not been pressured during the July phone call, and insisted that he does not want to interfere in a foreign election. Earlier on Wednesday, the White House released a summary of the phone call, which is comprised of “notes and recollections” from staff assigned to listen to the call and is not a transcript of the call.

In one exchange from the White House memo, Zelensky thanks Trump for his support of Ukraine’s defense. Trump responds, “I would like you to do us a favor though” and asks for Ukraine to investigate a matter related to the 2016 hacking of Democratic National Committee servers.
“I think you read everything. I think you read text,” Zelensky said to the gathered reporters on Wednesday. “I’m sorry, but I don’t want to be involved to democratic, open elections of U.S.A. No, you heard that we had good phone call. It was normal, we spoke about many things. I think, and you read it, that nobody pushed me.”

“So no pressure,” Trump added.
President Trump has been embroiled in controversy since last week, when reports emerged that a whistleblower in the U.S. intelligence community had filed a complaint about a phone call between the two heads of state. An official said that the whistleblower “found troubling” “certain representations concerning U.S. policy” during the call.
Trump had previously admitted that he and Zelensky discussed former Biden’s son Hunter Biden during the phone call, but has denied that the call went into inappropriate territory and has insisted there was “no quid pro quo.” The Washington Post reported last week that Trump froze nearly $400 million in aid from the country at least a week before the July 25 phone call with Zelensky. The funds were eventually released on Sept. 11.
Taking questions in Ukrainian and English on Wednesday, Zelensky said that he doesn’t have the authority to pressure Ukrainian law enforcement, and did not attempt to do so.
“We have an independent country and independent general security. I can’t push anyone,” Zelensky said.

As Russia mounted 100,000 troops on the Ukrainian border in March, the White House and the Department of Defense readied a $100 million military assistance package that was frozen once President Joe Biden announced a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to reports.
The Russian troop buildup, allegedly for unannounced military exercises, coincided with smaller American exercises in the Black Sea region. A previous buildup in eastern Ukraine led to the annexation of Crimea in 2014 and a protracted war that simmers seven years later. As Putin massed attack helicopters and aircraft on the eastern Ukrainian border, Biden and NATO leaders condemned Russia and called for a drawdown but made no public offers of military assistance. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urgently called for entry into NATO and the military weaponry his country lacks.

He may have increased future aid, but he froze an existing tranche, while meeting with Putin, to hear Putin's false promises of staying out of Ukraine.
Do you think Biden should be impeached for ass-kissing Putin?

Noticed 2 days in a row of trading volume
Yes, both trades were sells at the Bid. Otherwise, no action at all.
Will be more interesting after GIFX fails to post an Annual Report by the March 31 deadline. I would not bet on Kisa getting out an annual report.
Looks like his oligarch friends are feeling some pressure over Ukraine.
Not looking good for GIFX. Might even become defunct, if Kisa can not sell the shell.
The only problem is this skull and bones
Best to just get used to the GIFX "Skull & Crossbones". It will not go away until GIFX becomes defunct.
An addendum to my first response..........
Joe Biden's Approval Rating Hits All-Time Low Amid Ukraine-Russia Crisis
New polling from The Washington Post and ABC News found just 37 percent of Americans approve of the job Biden is doing—a new low for the president a little more than one year into office. A majority of U.S. adults, 55 percent, said they disapprove of Biden's job performance.
Those findings were echoed in a survey from a Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll, first reported by The Hill, which showed Biden's approval rating had hit an all-time low of 38 percent.

ForReal, Your personal there looks a vote for Trump from you.
My real hope is that he does not run again. And I hope the Democrats come up with some more moderate candidates. I am a moderate independent, but I do lean a bit conservative. The choices we have been given the last 2 elections have sickened me. Hillary vs Trump? Good Lord, I wish we could have done better than that. And Biden vs Trump? Is that the best "they" can come up with?
I mean, we have over 300 million people here. I'm sure there are better people available to be President. Personally I thought (and still do) think Trump is a dick head. But I just could not bring myself to vote for Hillary or Biden. Even after voting for Obama twice. For a greater number of my years I have been a Democrat, but some of their policies and agenda are just too insane for me to accept. And I think the vast majority of Americans share my sentiments. It just comes down to picking the least of two evils for most. They tired of Trump and gave Biden a chance. And I think many are not happy to have had that alternative. My best evidence of that shows in the current polls. We are just swinging back and forth, looking for an answer and being provided poor choices.
I am anxious to see the next presidential election, if I live that long. LOL!! No signs yet that I won't, but I'm 74 so???????????

Guess you missed the humor in my conditioning comment. LOL
No I didn't. And I commend you on your civility, most times. I guess we all suffer from rebuttal to vicious attack posts from time to time. I try to ignore them and not respond to them for the most part, but sometimes @#!%$&!!
And if he can hook his out of Crimea
forces to those coming down he could occupy a much bigger area than his two separatist regions occupy now.
Even if this ended in some sort of Putin victory tomorrow, Ukrainians will fight a never ending guerilla war. With sympathetic countries on Ukraine border Putin's occupation force will never rest. The Russian populace will tire of that, much like any other would. Perhaps the best examples would be Russia in Afghanistan, followed by our own debacle over there.
Conditioning i guess.
OH MY!! Have you detected some bias in my opinions? LOL!!
I hardly think I stand out here for that, other than I might add some YANG to the Yin of this board.

I really don't see the purpose of echo chambers. I have read some posts here, contrary to my own, that have altered my perception a time or two, believe it or not. Too bad some are so touchy and defensive (me included at times) and lack the art of using humor to lighten the atmosphere.
You can bet Putin's puppet Kadyrov won't be on the front line.
No, You’re Not Imagining It: Russia’s Army Is Inept
After four days of fighting, the Russian military is bogged down in Ukraine. In part this is due to the valiant resistance of Ukraine’s army and civilian defense forces. But it’s also due to the fact that the Russian army just isn’t very good.
News reports, tweets, videos, and emails from the battlefields show Russia’s armored vehicles abandoned for lack of fuel, its soldiers foraging for food, its transport planes shot out of the sky, its various military elements—tanks, infantry, aircraft—unable to coordinate their aims.

Oh for the days of the Vikings and other leaders who led their troops on the ground.
Well, he and Putin know who they are up against. Don't forget who is the Big Dog here.
The man that took on "POPCORN"? Why, when trouble started, he knocked those kids off his lap, that were rubbing his leg hair, and took down "POPCORN" and saved all those hair rubbers from an evil worse than Putin.
If that doesn't put the fear into Putin and Kadyrov, I don't know what will. I'm surprised Biden hasn't picked up his helmet and taken a weapon offered by Zelensky and pushed the Russian Army back across the border. I guess it must be the asthma keeping him out of it.
The WaEx has some bias problems too, eh.
Actually, they were referencing a CBS News Poll. Not the most conservative of Poll Takers. LOL!!
Ukrainian fighters grease bullets against Chechens with pig fat
The National Guard of Ukraine has shared a video on its Twitter account that appears to show Azov fighters greasing bullets with pig fat, ostensibly to be used against against Muslim Chechens deployed to their country as Russia steps up its military assault on Ukraine.
Azov, a far-right all-volunteer infantry military unit, are ultra-nationalists who are accused of harbouring neo-Nazi and white supremacist ideology. They first fought alongside the Ukrainian army in the east of the country in 2014 against pro-Russia separatists and have since been incorporated into the regular armed forces.
In the video, which could not be independently verified by Al Jazeera, a man who is purportedly a member of the Azov fighters is seen dipping bullets into what appears to be pig fat as he addresses the Chechen fighters.
He says: “Dear Muslim brothers. In our country, you will not go to heaven. You will not be allowed into heaven. Go home, please. Here, you will encounter trouble. Thank you for your attention, goodbye.”

Found guilty in the court of objective, responsible citizenry, and others.
Not according to this poll.
Perhaps that’s why the vast majority of voters on both the Left and the Right don’t agree with Democrats’ characterization of the Capitol riot as an insurrection. A CBS News poll released this week found that 70% of the people who voted for President Joe Biden and 84% of the people who voted for Trump considered the Capitol riot to be a “protest that went too far” — which is exactly what it was.
