Trade after hours then. They trade the same hours as everyone else.
Back to low 20s. The calls I sold at a nice premium are going to expire worthless Friday. AMC has turned into an option ATM machine again!
You do know that the chart shows past history right?
Did you also know that successful traders buy when it's low and SELL when it's high?
Um... if traders canceled or changed their orders during the one minute halt, the bid and ask changes accordingly. Elementary Watson.
Yesterday, the first hour was only half of what you need in volume.... and then you need that fur the next 7 hours. Every day for a week minimum. Then you get your squeezie. But wait, the squeezie happened a year ago. GLTU
If you were wondering, that's 125 million an hour, not 30
You need a billion trades a day to make it happen. Highest I've seen since August was less that 250 million. If hedgies are actually covering, the volume would be insane. And it's not insane.
No volume no squeezie
Back to 27s
Looks like that's what they did! Can read them like a book.
1 minute halt
Don't think it hit 35 today
Tank o rama
Kinda looks like that's what they are doing. They make billions in options.
They ran the option premiums up, now they play them hard for a few weeks.
You need a billion shares to trade in a day. Not 250 million. Not close enough. Back to where it was end of last year. Big guys will short from here and run it back down
This is where it was beginning of the year. The volume today is getting interesting tho. Need at least a billion shares a day to really think it's squeezing. All not convinced....but mebbe...
Best volume I've seen in a while
No volume no squezzie
Cnbs talking amc in a couple minutes
Yes it was a serious question, but I stand corrected
You don't think these guys know how to modify an algorithm to constantly changing markets? Guys are constantly rewriting them, and they work.
Which is it 31% or 100%?
Really just been sideways since January
I'll be more interested if it gets to 25 and see volume in the hundreds of millions
Meantime, I'm selling those juicy weekly options
I'm guessing hopeful day traders
I've been selling options on this pos just like the hedgies and it's been amazing
This little bump just increases the premiums making them even more profitable
Going nowhere without volume. If people think citadel is covering, all you need to do is look at volume to know that no one is trying to cover.
Nope. I get all my news from IHUB. Could you fill me in on some details?
OMG! They did?
Did they report?
The money they make selling options far exceeds the cost of the underlying asset. There is no reason for them to cover... and if they do cover, they just sell puts and capture the shares back.
It's elementary options trading, but only a small percentage of people understand options.
Learn to trade like the big guys and you will win win win.
Squeeze is over now?
Highest volume since August 25. Going to need a lot higher volume than that for this pos to squeeze. Still an interesting day.
Laddering down..... or maybe no more buying. Quite the squeeze tho!
Like I said, they bumped it to increase option premiums again. Option trading 101. Squeeze was a year ago.
Looks like the squeeze actually happened... impressive!
They are simply running the option premiums up. They were getting too low. Nothing to get excited about until you see some real volume
So it gained back it's losses from less than 3 weeks ago. It's a long ways away from even 25 bucks.
It's not super low volume. It's perfectly normal premarket volume
Sounds like another countdown date that never happens
