Here's an intangible for all of you to chew on...a 76 year old man and a host of people with solid reputations to protect and stellar credentials come together to "scam" us out of $15M dollars? My gut says "no way". What's to be gained by all this? The fact that Dean maintains constant contact with a number of us on an on-going basis and limits his comments to avoid violating the SEC rules is not the mark of a "scam" being pulled off. The fact that PRs have been very matter of fact IRT the company's progress (even when disappointing) is not the mark of a "scam" being pulled off. No pumping by the company to elicit a higher share price to bilk the most out of this does not follow the pattern of a "scam" company. For all the folks yelling "scam" out there, there is also a very powerful and compelling counter-argument. IMO this is very real! As Dean has stated..."patience will be rewarded".
Of course I don't have access to L2, so just my opinion that the buyback is very active. IMO Dean wants to suck up as many shares as he can before he springs the news on us within the legalities of the rules of course. If I'm right, this is a very good sign!
Good chance its the company buyback. I think that's driving alot of this uptick and the reason I bought on the buyback news a number of months back. FINALLY......I think my decision is starting to pay off.
Any way to scale down the intraday chart on the display? Looks like that bogus ask forced the chart to scale up. Just curious.
Let's suppose for a moment that you're CEO Bradley and you are in the middle of a stock buyback. He's a smart guy.....if the buyback is going on (IMO it is), then why would you release or close acquisitions before buyback is complete? Just a thought to ponder. It would make smart business sense.
Nice solid finish here.....strong and bullish!
Uptick......ask and you shall receive!
Interesting theory.....that would be nice. Its almost like everybody "rolled up the carpet" early. Very strange IMO.
Why the lack of movement guys for the last hour or so?
Thanks Ichi......its already been said, but thanks for helping to keep it real and provide accurate information/debunk bogus information.
Again, and I've said it before, patience is a virtue with this stock, just as it is with CEO Bradley. In my exchanges with him, he's impressed me as a straight up, deliberate man who is proceeding according to a plan that will build QASP into something the board of directors, employees and shareholders can be very proud of IMHO. I look forward to the events that will transpire in the weeks/months/years to come.
I'm an AF pilot serving state-side. Thanks for your service. I know its no fun, but we appreciate what you are doing on all our behalf. Be safe and see you home soon!!!! God bless America!!
How do you know there has been no ACTION? I think there's been plenty of action behind the scenes to close the funding and close these first four acquisitions. You and I aren't just privvy to it....YET! Patience my friend....patience. If you like this stock....buy it. If not.....move on! Its pretty simple.
Patience is apparently a precious commodity in this day and age of instant gratification. It is not surprising at all to me that given the complexity of this transaction that we are where we are. Those with a "day trading" approach can happily trade in the channel we're currently in. Go ahead and buy at .014 and sell at .015 for 5%. But that lack of patience is clouding your view of what this company can be once these acquisitions are closed. Dean put it succinctly in the last PR when he said investor's patience will be rewarded....he's dead serious and it is revealing about his approach to this business plan and his vision which he has been toiling over for over three years. You think a month makes a big difference to him? He's being very deliberate and he's not going to put out a PR that will satisfy those with no patience. The Roman Empire was not built overnight folks. By the way, there are better and much more profitable day trading possibilities out there....I suggest you move on if that's your mentality. IMO QASP is not your typical penny stock. I think QASP will be off the pinks by the end of 2010. Again, all my opinion and GLTA. Happy New Year everyone from a QASP long term stockholder! Even you bashers...have a wonderful New Year and I hope you make a ton of money this year......your posts are quite entertaining!
Re-read the PR Parker. It says "working diligently to close THE FIRST FOUR acquisitions", not "the first of four". I take this to mean that all four are being closed simultaneously, but doesn't preclude Quasar from closing one at a time.
If so.....that's huge!
Dooley........sorry, I may have misread your post. Is this engine specifically designed to be used in aircraft using automotive fuel? Have the design engineers worked out the carb icing issues? If so, that would be huge.
As a pilot, I can tell you that AVGAS is designed for a very different purpose that gas from the pump. The biggest difference is icing inhibitors, which you must have to prevent carburator icing at flight altitudes, where it is much colder. So to imply that this engine is easily adapted to flight because it uses regular old fuel is incorrect. You can use gas from the pump inflight, but it would be considered a fuel choice of last resort. Emergency use only. Long on QASP and expecting great things IMO.
Amen brother! Tidings of great joy! Merry Christmas!! Santa just delivered to my three year old and I'm headed to bed.......and to all, a good night.
Merry Christmas to all......and to all a good (QASP) flight! See you all back here in a few days! Be safe and God bless!
Bought another 65K shares at .015 to get my average down. My Christmas shopping is now complete. While the vast majority of pennys end up being P&D scams, this is absolutely NOT.......all my opinion, but informed. Merry Christmas everyone! Be blessed!
IMO also....this PR aids QASP in their buyback. They aren't dummies and it gives them time to suck up more of that 20% at bargain prices. Smart business IMO. I'd have thought of that too before releasing this PR.
Hey JR and Mods,
I'm buying more but trying to figure out if we'll slip a bit more before closing of acquisitions are announced. Where do you see lower resistance at? I'm thinking .013 to .0125 is probably as low as we're going to see given everyone's unwillingness to sell until we get definitive news on the acquisitions. Maybe lower if shareholders sell to show a loss on taxes. By the way, this PR confirmed for me that the funding IS CLOSED and they're closing the acquisitions. I agree with the post that said if this was a scam, we'd see something in that PR that would have created buying pressure. Factual update......right up CEO Bradley's alley.
Many of you have a "tactical view" of this stock. Mr. Bradley and the board of directors have the "strategic view" and are IMO proceeding in carrying that vision and business plan out. I would hope that anyone investing in ANY stock realizes that they aren't privvy to the inside workings of any company and that they are basing investment choices on their own DD, however extensive or limited the information is down here in pennyland. But there is a wealth of information out there on QASP. You just have to go looking. The bottom line is that investing is a wager. Sometimes, things turn out well and sometimes, well.......... I'm of the mind that this will turn out well for those holding QASP.
My experience has been that those that successfully lie or scam do so with a simple story that is consistent with very little detail involved. Less chance of being discovered for what they are. They prey on ignorance.
IMO there is too much detail here which is encouraging. While some will say that elaborate scams are exactly what is going on here, I respectfully disagree. In the business world, things change all the time and timelines are somewhat arbitrary.
Why would highly respected men with reputations to preserve stoop to such levels to bilk a couple million dollars out of unsuspecting shareholders? What do Dean Bradley at 76 or Mark Lundquist with a thriving law practice that is much more than an association with this company have to gain? The downside of scamming is much more costly. Sanity dictates this is legitimate. But then, sanity doesn't always prevail on this board. Money is indeed an emotional thing for most folks.
As I've said before, patience is a virtue. Tough to exercise for some here, but maybe a positive outcome will be a good lesson learned for some besides being a profitable lesson. I hope so and for all concerned, I hope my perceptions are correct.
Good luck to everyone here......Merry Christmas!
Thanks Ichi.....been following the IHub thread on this stock for a few months now. I have appreciated all the DD that you all have done (and thanks to all the mods by the way). I've intimated to Dean the level of "emotionality" on this blog and I'd bet he agrees. If he would tell all of us one thing, it would be......relax, it will be allright. Some people just can't see the forest through the trees here...makes me chuckle sometimes at the lack of maturity. Typical of this "me" centered world we live in. Thank God Dean is old school.
New to the board guys and gals and pretty much all in with QASP. Glad to be here. IRT correspondence with Mr. Bradley, I've had numerous personal contacts with him (last time was two days ago) and he is VERY disciplined about not stepping over the line into what might be considered insider information. He'll respondd if your comments are of a general nature. IMO, based on my on-going dialogue with him over the last number of months, my gut tells me this is all VERY REAL. The emotion on this board amazes me at times. Whatever happened to the concept of "delayed gratification"? Seems to be a skill many of you youngsters lack in this day and age. This is not your typical "flip" stock. IMO, all the longs will be very happy with the results in the not too distant future. IMO Dean is a straight up guy who has alot of pressures on him that you can't always imagine. Let him do his work. Just my objective opinion. Do your DD and GLTA.
