NFLX testing that $245 resistance, lets break it going into close!
NFLX testing that $245.00 resistance point. Made new HOD. Let's see what happens.
Uh-oh I have one post remaining. Do I upgrade to unlimited? What do you think...?
FCSC appears to have bounced off the middle bolli, could be making it's way north soon
I may try to play it safe. I know that the current strong resistance point is at $249. I will be looking to liquidate when my calls reach $8.50ish (which would put the stock around $247.50 or so). Reason being is that the potential risk is far greater than the potential upside. Premiums will have basically run their course and to really go much higher I would be needing for the stock to break the huge resistance point. Once I feel the risk is greater than the upside and premiums have run their course (they've slowed down with increasing) I'll be making my way to the exits.
LVS
Peaked back in November. Has been in a descending pattern making lower highs and lower lows ever since. I think it's going to make a push soon to test that trendline again (yes I know it's red today)
First resistance point 44.45ish
Breaks that it can test the trend line currently at 46.15ish.
One to keep on the radar imo.
NFLX at resistance @ $245 lets see if she can break it!
Yeah just curious if any of the groups are on it. The amount of buying power coming into it makes me think there are some heavy backers behind it. Not saying that there is, just wondering. I've had my last stint in the penny market but I'm glad you're making some coin!
NFLX May 21st $240 calls +20%
NFLX don't see any restiance until 248/249, could be good for a short term play. Looks to be a nice wall there at a psychological level of $250, also close to it's 52wk high @ 254.98.
Just what I see, put the trendlines that I'm using on the chart that I posted earlier. Picked up May 21st, $240.00 calls
What group is promo'n it?
Hey L-Back, thanks. I saw your PM but as you see my account expired and just havent signed back up so I haven't been able to reply. Looking forward to contributing again :)
GM AD,
Thank you for taking the time to take a look at the stock. That makes complete sense both with numbers and events that exist with the stock. Looking at the players that they deal with, I only imagine the type of revenues that should be coming in within the near future. They just signed a deal with HBO and already they are working with Netflix. But it also makes sense as to why the pps continues to go up based on estimates. I still stand behind that it's overbought and will retrace before the next leg up (if there is one). It's an interesting stock and one I remember playing when it was around .97. Would have been a sweet return right now if I held haha!
Looking forward to seeing some other things that are on your radar.
Nice job pump! You just know how these things work. People chase the price up, the second they see it dropping, fear kicks in and everyone tries to jump ship at the same time at the bid and just knocks it out. It can rebound and a lot of the times it does, but sometimes bag holders are created.
You're being smart, take profits off the table!
Haha. Well one of the big things is to first see how much cash is on hand. That will give a tell tale sign of what the company is doing with their cash. Next take a look at their debt (both long and short term). Are they increasing their debt but not paying it off? That seems to be the case with LVLT:
http://yahoo.brand.edgar-online.com/displayfilinginfo.aspx?FilingID=7913644-17550-22771&type=sect&dcn=0001104659-11-026849
Cash Flows from Financing Activities:
Long-term debt borrowings, net of issuance costs
2011 - 772
2010 - 613
Payments on and repurchases of long-term debt
2011 - (198)
2010 - (714)
Net Cash Provided by (Used in) Financing Activities
2011 - 574
2010 - (101)
Unless I'm reading it wrong, it looks like LVLT is increasing their long term debt and has reduced the payments or repurchases of long term debt.
Gotta take a look at the cash flow statements. Is the company re-investing in itself? Or is majority of it going to operations?
Cash Flows from Operating Activities:
Net loss
$ (205)
$ (238)
Although there is a net loss of $205mm, the company is reducing this number. It's a positive trend when reducing it in 2011 vs 2010 by 13.9%. I like that trend, although I would like it to be higher.
This is all I could write for now, have to go to a training event that I put together for 100 customers in a few minutes.
Remember to lock profits. Pennies is a funny business and fear dominates greed everytime. People will sell at the bid to jump ship and a snowball effect sometimes happen. Be smart, Be Green! Good luck!
Haha I will give it a shot later.
Technically speaking I'll be waiting for a correction before jumping in. It's trading well outside the upper bollinger band and RSI has entered "power zone" / overbought territory. Last 3 times this happened it didn't stay there for long before a retrace, then consolidation and then the next leg up. Slow Sto is also overbought and the last 5 times this has happened it's had a sharp drop and retrace.
Waiting on sidelines for now.
That would be great, thanks AD. This semester I had an accounting class and we went over things to look for when evaluating a company for investment purposes. Trying to take what I learned and apply it haha
Thanks AD!!
Do you know any additional info about LVLT? I mean with the partnerships that they have it would seem that it's still undervalued at it's current price. I gotta look at the financial statements to see the ratios.
Hey AD!
I've been wicked busy. Moving went well, exams are over. 5 classes out of 19 are finished. Only 14 more to go. Sporting a GPA of over 3.8. Working full time as well as some side business ventures. So things are going ok. I got pounded on SLV last week, but I'm still kicking. I've got one gem I've been following for a long time but want to do some more research on it. It's a low dollar stock, currently $1.78 but has a positive future. Just gotta analyze the financial statements.
The stock is LVLT (Level 3 Communications). Have you ever looked at this one?
Good Afternoon ATM!
Hope everyone is doing well on this fine day ;)
To everyone,
I just want to say good luck. I have decided that it's time for me to take a break. I wish you all nothing but the best but I do not know when the next time I will make an appearance will be.
Sometimes it takes us to reach lows before we can make new highs in the future. Please take care of your family. There are lessons to be learned in everything that we do, sometimes it just takes awhile to know why those things do happen to us.
As my favorite tv show says, "Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose."
My best to everyone on this board that have made it successful.

It sure doesn't appear that way. Makes me curse not holding my NVDA puts over the weekend. I would be up close to 150% :(
Ah true. But it's still in a very sharp downtrend, and it's down over 20 cents after hours. I really don't think I can win with this one. I can only imagine what it will open at tomorrow if it continues.
Have a good night all.
XOM had a 1mm trade go through, appears to be a buy. Heads up that she might be turning north tomorrow. JMO
Oil is going down & the market is too
Exxon CEO: Oil Markets Are Well Supplied Despite Libya
.
By Isabel Ordonez
Of DOW JONES NEWSWIRES
Oil markets are "well supplied" despite the unrest in the Middle East and North Africa, the Chief Executive of Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM) said Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters after the company's analyst meeting in New York, Chief Executive Rex Tillerson said crude prices, currently trading over $100 a barrel, could only reach the levels seen two and a half years ago over $145 a barrel if markets experience a more significant supply disruptions than the one caused by the political unrest in Libya. The current spike in prices is a short-term reaction to the geopolitical risks markets see in Libya rather than a fundamental unbalance between supply and demand, he said. He added that Exxon Mobil has not seen either destruction in oil demand and that consumers could start changing their behaviour only when gasoline prices hit $4 a barrel a gallon.
"If you have a physical supply disruption that is significant, something beyond Libya's volume, which was about 1.5% of global production, then certainly you would expect that there could be can a response in the price to that," Tillerson said. "I don't anticipate that happening."
The head of Exxon Mobil said the company has had no problem replacing the oil its Mediterranean refineries used from Libya with crude from other areas and that the company has not heard of any other buyer having problems either. "When we had to stop lifting that crude to comply with sanctions, we had no difficulty finding replacement crude volumes," Tillerson said. "Markets are well supplied."
Tillerson said he is not "losing sleep" over the security of oil supply or even over the company's own operations, but rather over what is happening to the people in Libya.
Separately, the executive said he strongly disagrees with the comments made Tuesday in Houston by Bob Dudley, the CEO of rival European oil company BP PLC (BP, BP.LN), who said that improving safety in deep water operations was an issue for the entire all industry.
"I think those comments are great disservice to these industry," Tillerson said. "This conclusion that this is a major problem for the industry is just wrong."
In a speech, the head of BP called for more collaboration among energy companies in different areas where they face increasing challenges, including their ability to respond more efficiently to large oil spills. Last year, a rig drilling for BP in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico exploded, killing 11 and unleashing the worst marine oil spill in history.

FNSR down 36%. One of the biggest drops that I've seen in recent memory. Once the dust settles could this be a decent play?
Well XOM is going up as oil drops, so I think you're safe lol
Oil testing $104/barrel
So far XOM's price has increased as oil has dropped.
Haha L-Back, well said
You will make that money back AD. I have no doubts about that.
Let's see where this goes... maybe it could break 104 today...
