depends on how the do it. I think they want the brick and mortar.. and Jcp has alot of property they own, and i think that is why it was split into to parts of the company...
You also have to look at it this way, they are asking 3 mo with out rent payments, and then rent will start back up with some type of package to for the land lords,
That is great, for the company with what everyone is going threw, with the loss of income over the Corona virus, And you would have to look at it like would a land lord want a empty building or mall right now if Jcp was not there,
Everyone has to give a little to gain alot.

well the split will will be the property side, and im glad when it is sold it will come off bottom line
I think amazon is after brick and mortar, and jc pennies has alot that they own that are not opening back up... In the audio they said there has to be value put to them so they can use it to cut cost
