Me thinks you spelled my name wrong, because I never got it...
Stockholder101...I do not have a pay-account to send private messages. (Blast!) Things are well..Still watching this stock! I work for Training & Development now with the "Evil Empire." Doing roll-out "live onlines" and operations training classes. I no longer report to the old office..I am in an NSC, now...You know my e-mail address. Drop me a line!
Stockholder101!! How in the heck are you?!?!? How is life in the new office?
I think the spelling you are looking for in your "gut-shot" is D-Y-I-N-G...Dying.
I don't have MUCH left, but I will keep my eye out.
You know me. Nothing changes. Still taking care of my family. That company you know I work for? MASS EXODUS. I left the LOCAL office to take a gig as a corporate trainer for a new call center and training & development facility that they are building in Philadelphia...In fact I am in California, as we speak, training.
My regards to all in the "Stockholder Dynasty."
Stockholder101, I sure did miss ya!!! I hope all is well where you are at, but I have a question regarding this stock...
When is enough really enough with DNAG? When I first bought in, I got in at over a cent (1.6, if I remember) and now we are at .0067! The March Deadline, The April Deadline and all the "Next Thursday!!!" hopefuls in the middle....
When do you finally sit back and say "I have beaten a dead horse. I have lost money and it is time to move on?"
I am sorry to say, Ladies & Gentlemen, but...
I am out. Do to some unfortunate circumstances with an ill relative in a very expensive treatment center, I have been forced to liquidate some of my assets, and DNAG was the first to go. I took a nasty hit, but haven't we all?
I may be back in, as things move along and if DNAG shows any signs of a nice bounce-back, but as of now the days of chasing the "THURSDAY THURSDAY THURSDAY" are officially over.
I wish you all (The lovers AND the haters) nothing but true financial success...Stocky needs to keep pumping because you give hope and Frog needs to keep bashing to bring balance to the force. (So to speak)
Take care of yourselves...and for Pete's sake, be kind to one another!
Frog, what did you buy in at? What did you sell at?
Now that you are no longer a DNAG shareholder, what other company projects are you researching?
Spoke to an old friend and seasoned 30 year Vet from Morgan Stanley, today...
His advice to me was "A sure sign that a penny stock is built on hype is when all the positive news comes from the company itself..(i.e. Investor Relations, PR releases, etc.)"
What sucked was I hadn't even told him about the company announcing they will be part of M2GEN or all the trivia tid-bits that have com from the IR office in the last month.
After I explained the situation to him, (Shocked that he nailed what had been going on with this stock since February) he said " I hope you made a decent buck and got out when it was 1.89, because that was your big hit!"
Sadly, I did not. Now I know what your are going to say..."If he works for Morgan Stanley than he is trained to hate penny stocks and would neeve take chances like this! He is a hater!" Well he is ridiculously successful, and has made his clients a boat-load over the years. That level of survival and success through company take-overs, good years, bad years and net booms, is the type of professional that knows when to turn on the "Bull-Shit Light." The more I talked to my friend from Morgan Stanley, the more I thought about "Boiler Room." When Seth is selling the "whale" on the phone a bout a new drug that is in it's third stage of FDA approval to help keep premature babies alive and healthy...I might as well have bought DNAG from J.T. Marlin! (hahahaha)
Just some Water Cooler Fodder for you all.....
Fact: You still post on this board, because you have a vested interest in this company and are waiting for movement just like everyone else.
Blah Blah Blah.
Unbrauchbare Eintragung - 24/7
I feel bad...I hope Stockboy did not invest cash that he NEEDED on this stock.
That is the cardinal rule of penny-stocks...Always invest expendable cash because you never know what roller-coaster ride you are in for.
2nd rule? Never buy on Message Board hype!
Stockboy, I implore you to sell, get what money you have left in this thing back, and just open up an interest-bearing finance account that will guarrantee some return, whether or not Stockholder is right about DNAG.
Best of luck.....
You can't begrudge a Frog who can admit when he is wrong....
And we have a fan of Freddie Mercury in the house!
I wish I could be mad about the comment, Michiko but I am on this board to (in theory) chat with other educated adults about a financial investment I decided to make. Really nothing more "in depth" than that...
So, yeah, just filler...(hahahaha)
Sorry, Stockholder101. I can't help myself.
THURSDAY, THURSDAY, TURSDAY!
DNAPRINT TO DA MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!(hahahaha)
I have been itching to send you one of those....
Incapable of truth or staying positive?
The truth is NO ONE knows. If they did (For sure), that would be insider trading which is what got Martha Stewart to wear a fashionable new leg bracelet for the better part of a year.
This message board will provide you with snippets of articles and PR's relating to the stock, positive opinions and negative ones, but if you are looking for undeniable truth then I suggest you grab a New York phone book and look up "Gordon Gecko." He is the only one that trades in absolutes from people in the know.
Best of luck!
That works out PERFECT, Stockboy!
After a hard day's work of negative attacks of the stock, now you can secretly pick up more shares tonight to average out your overall stock worth!
Good job! You will be set once the stock jumps up again!
Well played....We should all get in on the fun! "This thing is going DOWN THE TUBES! (wink wink)"
Tip of the hat, Bag.....
I have a great idea, Chris...Go on the website, Call Investor Relations, and ask her for yourself instead of critquing someone else's work and word.
God Almighty! I have never seen grown men and women that are so quick to flame others (Trying to sound as intelligent as possible while doing so.) who make the effort that their vastly educated minds did not think to do!
If you don't believe quotes, get your own. Don't like someone's research? Do your own. But don't put on trial someone's tenacity.
That is ridiculous.
Johnny, you find me a post prior to this joke-post debacle where I went after someone..Anyone in here with malicious intent, berating and being overall obnoxious and I will never post in here, again.
Period.
Come now...If DNAG did monitor these boards, it is purely for a laugh and not to file suit.
Between, the guess-timates of PR releases and stock potentials, the company AND member flaming that goes on, and the lackluster analysis and debunking of posted analysis back and forth, what do you think a company filled with individuals who can think circles around the lot of us would be doing on THIS board?
Do you think they are beaming with pride about the integrity of their investors after reading some of the posts in here?
Please....I have apologized to those who were truly offended but to the ignorant I say if you are THAT smart, then stop talking about legalities, turn off the message board, go get a law degree and come and get me...And when you are done with me and my one irrelevant post, go after "The Onion" for their satire and quotes. But don't stop there. Saturday Night Live parodies the president in false quotes too. Yeah! Get those guys!
Your legal efforts would be futile, but it least you would be doing something more productive then flaming on a message board like a child in the "Nickelodeon Room."
Well, I guess I better get my family attorney at the ready for the onslaught of suits I am staring down the bullet of...
Sorry I offended all. Here, I always try to stay objective and promote peace between the optimists and skeptics, but in the end united all in a front against my brand of tomfoolery.
My apologies to all...
C'mon Folks, Let's get a grip here!
A satirical parody (as noted in the post) is not subject to liability. It is only liable if I was trying to pass it off as legitimate for the sake of some type of gain.
Sorry you feel crossed, "Goofy."
I was just trying to have a little April fun with the board. All who know me here know I am not malicious in any way. Let's let this comedic faux pas die, already
Yes, I am a terribly huge buffoon for trying to break up the sophmoric flaming and over-zealous wishing that goes on in here with a little laugh.
You did not think it was funny? My apologies.
Maybe next time I will pull my 17 year old cousin off his High School Message Boards so he can school me on some "serious burns" to lay out there, since that is (apparently) where the humor is.
D'oh! You got me. Oh well. I tried.
What words were NOT spell-checked, Sandoz?
PR Information mentioning DNAPrint and M2GEN....
Tampa, FL (AP) - It's not piracy if both parties win.
That is the mentale of the future business venture between Merck & Co. and the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, as they begin the long and arduous road of various local and federal funding for joint ventures in study and customization of pharmaceuticals and treatment procedures. The two organizations are calling the new pet project M2GEN and plan to not only offer a plethora of jobs to the local Tampa marketplace, but boast a 50,000 square foot complex to house what is to be believed will be the top analysis in the industry.
But who will feel the pinch in this fusion of two medical power-houses? Many companies work with both the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Merck & Co. in various side projects and research. The problem is that not all will feel the glory of victory in this venture. In fact, the real players from the various subsidiary organizations working with both corporation will inevitably be hired by M2GEN to continue their work, while the companies they hold the flag for now may be left out in the cold.
Richard Gabriel of DNAPrint Genomics is one who may settle for the pinch to get out of the financial hole his company has been digging for years. "Realistically, our company has offered some of the most ground-breaking research in genomic pharmo-study. We have enjoyed a working relationship with the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center for quite some time, and hold patents on the latest in genomic study. But the fact is that we are small troop that has acquired more debt than a company our size can handle. M2GEN is going to offer us a degree of relief, with the purchase of our patents and the acquisition of some of our finest researchers we have to offer. Our compensation will be enough to regroup and focus in on other projects we would like to be involved with in the future."
In the case of DNAPrint Genomics, the pinch is worth the reward. But Richard Gabriel's organization is one of many others that both companies have had ties to in the past, and are expecting to continue work with as they move towards the completion of the M2GEN Project...Unfortunately so are their stockholders.
If DNAPrint Genomics is any indication of how the smaller firms are to be handled by the merger, than it is looking bleak for the majority of side project companies hoping that this is the type of merger one they had been waiting on to take their company to the next level.
In the end Richard Gabriel may be the only one seeing the forest for the trees in a sense where his company continues to press on with new ventures seen in the horizon, and the shareholders losing nothing more than what they have always taken a hit on in the topsy-turvy world of penny-stocks.
Not all companies will be so lucky.
- A horrible...horrible....damn near EVIL April Fool's Joke, Indeed. Happy belated, folks...Hope no one jumped before they got to the bottom of the post!
Interesting Find....See what applies on this board:
"Do You Make These Mistakes When Trading Penny Stocks?
See What You Are Doing Wrong With Your Penny Investing!"
1)Buying penny stocks that are pumped on message boards, spam emails and bogus hot stock tips ?
2)Holding on to losing positions or letting small losses turn into larger losses ?
3)Turning a short term trading position into a long term investing decision ?
4)Buying stocks just because their “price is too low” or having a tendency to “catch falling knives“?
5)Averaging down ?
6)Trading with money you can’t afford to lose ?
7)Trading without strategy that clarifies you when to buy and when to sell a stock, or in other words not having any CLEAR buy and sell SIGNALS?
8)Trading without understanding the best time to buy a certain stock?
9)“Falling in love” with a stock, a company, a technology or a “story“ ?
10)Using to many technical indicators that can led you to information overload and cloud your trading decisions
11)Overtrading and Watching the stock market all day ?
12)Failure to control emotions ?
13)Lack of a trading plan and failure to follow the plan with discipline?
These are signs of amateur investing in the world of day trading!
This is something to offer faith...Why WOULD they take shares in lieu of cash if they were going to screw shareholders?!?!
I have a wife and two kids. If you decide to pay ME in shares before cash you better do a damn job convincing me that I get an ROI, otherwise I would tell you to take the job and screw it!
So, if I read correctly, you hold enough shares for a proxy at a Shareholder's Meeting but you have no faith in the investment you made? Are you HOPING to lose cash in a self-fulfilled prophecy or are you just mad that others remain hopeful?
Dude, you don't spend money you NEED on stocks like this...You spend cash you can risk losing. If you feel someone has "done you wrong" in DNAG for not paying you out a small fortune quickly, then on behalf of all the positive-minded longs, I apologize to you. But don't WISH death on this thing...Hold out with hope up!
What is the worst that happens? It actually goes back up and we make a few bucks? Trust me! I am not happy it is below a cent! There are some days I wish I had that money back in my checking account! There are some days I am convinced the "boom" was the three month high of 0.0189. But the money is invested, and if I bail now, I lose out...If I wait it out it is not like there is TOO MUCH MORE to lose by it.
Keep your head up, 9car.
Real life? Isn't that what we are all in, now? I sure would not like to think that I have been investing in a fantasy-world...
Thanks to JohnnyFiber, Stockholder and Frog for all the objective information you supplied me...
Now this...What if the "boom" is over? What I mean is, the stock went up from a penny and capped out at .0189 cents. Now it is clearly on a down-swing....It hit that .0189 when we were in the week of the county and state approval for M2Gen.
What if THAT was the hyped boom (Which by market standards is a PHENOM investment of close to DOUBLE your cash)and now we are in fodder looking for something "else?"
Like the old saying goes, "Bulls & Bears make money, but Pigs get slaughtered."
Thoughts anyone?
Let's try getting out of the borough, first....Then, Province,State,Continent and then Moon...
So far, we haven't even found our bat and glove.
Staying optimistic. Would love to see some movement, though.
Why would that benefit us as the DNAG shareholders? Wouldn't that only benefit MERCK shareholders? All we are hoping for is an official PR that links DNAG to MERCK/MOFFIT for our "boom" we are expecting, but any long term plans for Merck would not benefit us unless it has to do (specifically) with M2GEN...right?
Correct me if I am wrong and explain. Thanks!
Goliath, how about you? Do you have any facts, info or any type of research work to share with me that helps reiterate the optimistic outlook on a big boom for DNAG?
Okay, Frog, that is your solid opinion on the share. That it is not going to do much of anything and that the "Buy on rumor..Sell on news" loop we are in is simply hype.
Is there anyone here that can weigh in on the positive? Any facts to debunk this opinion?
Weigh in with me, Frog...What is your thought on this "Next Week" buzz that is all over the boards. Do you think based on YOUR analysis that this stock has a shot of rising like a glorious phoenix or do you see it as just another case of...
"Wait until County Approval, and BOOM!"
or...
"Wait until March 15th and BOOM!"
And finally...
"Wait until March 23rd and BOOM!"
Also, you failed to make comment (And I was curious to hear your retort.) about my post regarding stock analysts and why they would not see this share as a neon sign goldmine if this really has the ability to increase by 500% in a short term period, and be pushing for it all over their client base.
"Oh won't ya give me three steps. Give me three steps, Mister. Give me three steps toward the door! Give me three steps. Give me three steps, Mister, and you'll never see me no more!"
Stock tips from Lynyrd Skynyrd.
So where do we go from here? Has anyone made an assumption based on tne information provided that the stock could see a temporary hike during the M2Gen approval process?
I'd love to hear some thoughts
I have to play Devil's Advocate here, for a minute...If Frogdreaming does not take any solice in the PR, today, and continues to be hesitant about the idea that this could "boom" soon...Why does that make for any type of disdain towards him?
For the same reasons it is wrong for anyone to come down on someone for being optimistic, it is also wrong to disallow someone from feeling a lack of comfort in that PR. Now, no one says it is right that the hesitant party should call the hopefuls "Idiots," but the folks that need more to feel that this is a solid move forward are allowed that, as well.
In fact, I have to say that, I am all FOR positivity. I am all FOR researching before forming a constructive opinion and investing and I am FOR DNAPrint as a possible long term financial benefit...I am, however, curious as to how an idea could be formed that this could SKYROCKET into the next Microsoft, and not attract the attention of other educated stock analysts...
What I mean is, a successful year for any portfolio is an increase of 20%. But this stock (In theory) is being hoped in going from a penny and five-sixths to twenty to fifty cents!!!
At best case scenario that is an ABSURD increase in investment. That is an absolute once-in-a-lifetime score that, if possible, should be sending up neon signs to every would-be analyst worth his or her weight in software and degrees.
And with regard to that, I didn't originally try and open up an E-Trade account...I tried opening an AG Edwards account. They allowed me to buy my first 60,000 shares but when I went to buy more, they capped me...They told me that there analysis team thought it was so much of a risk that they would actually be liable if they sold me more...THAT is why the remaining shares I bought are through E-Trade...
I still stay positive and I still stay hopeful, but there is nothing DEFINITIVE on EITHER SIDE OF THE COIN.
So we know what "Loise" had to say. We also know what the stock is doing today, and the news (what little there was) that was posted today.
Anyone here think that we are a short step away from seeing that increase we are all hoping for or is it still a waiting game until October?
