I've been pretty busy with the new youngin' and work. I'm looking to get back in after Christmas with some more cashflow, but for now, I'm just riding my bottom feeders eating carp and catfish for dinner every night.
I'm kinda out of the game right now -
Since I've been so sparadic it would have been better to cash out and then get back in, but we all know hindsight is ...
Looks like it's been quiet for quite a while. I don't have any new information and I'm guessing no one else does either. I'm just holding and waiting to see what happens. Let me know if anyone hears anything.
ya - at this point I've lost so much, I'm just waiting to see what happens. It's not worth it to unload it. I think a lot of people being quiet, but I don't think it's because they've sold out. Not many shares are being passed around. I think everyone is just holding and waiting.
I think we're all going down with the ship at this point. We prefer to call ourselves "long-term" investors...it makes us feel better, and keeps us from crying publicly.
I think we're jumping to conclusions. I've been out of the discussion for a few days dealing with my 39 week pregnant wife, but I don't see "voodoo accounting" going on. I would advise to explore all the facts before we jump to conclusions. Capital can be very tricky in how it's tracked, not meaning fraudulantly, but when it is supposed to be realized especially with CIP/SIP - (Capital-in-process/Software-in-Process) - especially when it relates to when ownership takes place, etc. Honestly, in this environment of SOx regulations, etc., Most people aren't willing to do voodoo accounting with such a blatantly large purchase, which is half of the companies market share. Let's get all the facts and see what is going on.
As an accountant, I do agree that it will be depreciated over it's useful life, which for software, most companies I've worked for is around 3 years, maybe less or more depending on the software. I'm not sure where the 28k a quarter comes from, maybe you can explain that math a little more. Additionally, not all of your software expense money is able to be amortized. Maybe you purchase the software for a certain amount of money and that can depreciated, but certain labor expenses associated with the software cannot be spread out over it's useful life, but are realized as the expense is incurred. BUT Peroghy's post is an excellent post and it should be noted that non-financial people should ask more question and make fewer statements. As it is, I'm confident we won't see the sotware expense as a lumpsum hit, but it will be spread out over several years, though some expenses will be realized right away. I will reiterate and quote his last sentence because I do believe it to be valid and it can't be stated enough,
"People, before you go and sell your positions due to some information you read on this board, please verify that the information you're basing your decision on is actually CORRECT." - Peroghy
No, it can get worse - reverse split followed by more dilution....we'll see, but it's not looking great!
No - trading is only in 4 digits below 0. Try to put an order in for .00095 and it won't let you, or maybe it'll round it up to .0001, but the lowest you can go is .0001.
I'm just glad we've not dipped. Penny stock traders tend to be skidish, that with the negative PR the company released, I was expecting the price to dip more. I've not sold a single share though - I'm just holding on for big bucks, like a lot of us. I guess if you haven't sold yet - you're probably around for the long haul. There is a LOT of potential here...
no, there is scientific evidence that there is a connection, but it's delayed - like 3-6 months and it's more trending over the market as a whole, and not individual stocks. So there is a connection between markets, but that is not why this stock is gettting hammered. It wouldn't have "trickled" down yet. People are always looking for connections. There is no day-to-day connection and if you've been trading pennies long enough you'd notice it. Sometimes the S&P runs, while pennies plummet and vice versa...just hold to your guns and we'll make it through this.
No need to get nasty here. Accrual vs Cash accounting here. I'M SURE EFGO USES ACCRUAL ACCOUNTING, which I would expect they do, then they would be required to report revenue when it's earned in the quarter and cannot wait until it is "received", but the end of the year is NEVER an option. Cash accounting you can wait until it's physically taken hold of, as opposed to earned. I don't know?? maybe we do use cash accounting - our market cap is ridiculously low, I doubt we're big enough to be required to use Accrual accounting? incidentally, proper accounting has always been a big deal, but more so since Sarbanes-Oxley act of 2002. No accounting games please, that's only going to make us drop to a flat-line instead of .0002...
sweet - thanks.
That's my thoughts too...I hope it happens that direct and succintly. It seldom does though...all ways delays etc, but again, I'm here long-term so I might as well hold on and enjoy the ride.
so buddy - do you remember "Anything but Nellie", that was great! I was just thinkin' about that today. A friend wants to open up a Residental restoration company and he wants to call it ACI - Adam Crosslin Incorporated. I came back with a IM of ABCI - Anything but Crosslin Incorporated, which reminded of the time we played music at Mike Simon's gathering.
Ya - I'm not sure when this thing is going to head Northward. I'd suspect some insider activity would take place before the Q3 financials since rumors, expectations, tend to drive price to some degree. Surely some people with deep pockets will hear about this and speculate on it...but maybe not.
sorry - I sent my response to Rheddle instead of to you - I accidentally responded to the wrong post - but anyway - go job being able to pick some up @ .25 - I'm surprised it's selling @ that price.
I'm glad it's up 25% but I'm also impressed that you can average down by getting some @ .25. I am actually surprised there was some available @ that price.
time to buy....wow, I'm amazed...assuming you could effectively take control of the company w/6 billion shares, that puts the value of that @ 1.8 million - not a lot of money. As a side note - If Garr Winters gets his "bonus" this year based on stock price, I'm filing a lawsuit?! :) J/k - but really, wow...I guess I'm speachless and I'm glad I have investments in other companies, or else I'd really be hurting right now.
a close @ .0003???
ya - I'm excited about the Chinese company's financials being audited. If they want to see efficient markets and the value of the company reflected in the stock price, then just show us the audited financials and I think PLENTY of people will be happy to oblige. I know they don't HAVE to release the financials, but it sure seems like it would be in their own best interest.
how many shares....??
it means things are happening sooner rather than later, which is good. I'm tired or waiting around. That hit the EVSF board yesterday and we were glad to see it, but we're still waiting for details to see how it will effect stock price. The ask went up to $1.00 yesterday, which is a good sign, meaning most people think the stock price will be worth more...we'll just have to wait and see, but something should break in the next couple of weeks. Just continue to be patient.
volumes like 666 and 911 used to be MM messages to each other, and then traders picked up on it and sometimes individual traders will do to try to throw the MM's off, because they think they are in conspiracy against us. I don't know, but I suspect it's an MM signal they are sending to each other. What's 666 mean - I haven't the faintest, though maybe it's saying, "the end is near" - which would be good, meaning the wait and the transition to a new company is near. Or maybe it's saying, I expect the share price to go up to $6.66 a share. :) Ya...I think that's what it means. :) LOL....
Ya - I suspect the MM's are working with everyone to keep the price level before as the ownership transitions, etc. I'm sure they peg it in a certain price range and park it, until ownership completely transitions. I guess all we can do it wait.
you gotta do what you gotta do - but are you serious? What's the story man...I kinda feel like we're putting a team together here, like the NFL and preseason training camps...I just hate to see any sell %50 ... ouch.
still - guaranteeing 2500 & 500 shares @ each of those price is a sizable number...I'd like to see the number @ 1. :) that would be really nice... can I get an amen??!!
:)
I did enjoy seeing the ask go up to $1.00 though, but don't we all want to see big returns?
I've been around a good while...I actually bought some earlier right before they announced they were going to the OTCBB board. But I had gotten in before the OTCBB announcement in the low 30's. I've since increased my holdings in the .20's and .30 in the last couple of weeks so that I'm averaged @ .30. I think the outstanding share count is so small now that this stock price can really run...I'm invested in EFGO - which I believe in, but it's has billions in O/S. It's takes a lot of momentum to get that stock moving. If we can trust each other enough to just hold our stock, I think this joker could easily be a 10 bagger for some of us and everyone can make a profit. We've haven't waited around this long for nothing...
let's take those sell-orders out and let this joker really rise up to a price that we know it's worth. I'll be honest, I've been around a while and I'm averaged in @ .30 - so I've got a lot to gain @ $1.00, but I'm not selling mine until I see what this stock can really bring me - hopefully atleast $3-4 so everyone can make their money back. Let's raise those asking prices and make the market respond. If the ask is @ 1.00 it's because probably one of us has a sell order in @ that level.
ask and you shall recieve - things are starting to roll now. I'm encouraged that the ask is all atleast $1.00
no - I know...just stating the obvious. I'm not going anywhere. I guess its just that several of my other stocks are stuck @ their prices too and so day in and day out - it's the same. This is very unusual for my in PK land...
Ya know - You guys might call me an optomist, a liar, or dowright stupid, but I feel confident this company is worth more than .0005. As a statement I have all my shares for sell @ .01. 1 cent. Of course, I reserve the right to increase this if we ever even get close to 1 penny. I know my millions of shares are nothing in the overall scheme of billions of shares that are out there, but I don't feel that efficient markets are in place making EFGO properly priced @ .0005. I believe it's worth more than that and I'm parking my shares @ a price that I feel like it's worth. You guys are welcome to laugh, ignore, or chastise me, but I'm drawing my own line in the sand. I'm here for the longhaul and I think this company is worth more. I feel like I've gotten a bit discouraged in recent weeks with the low price, but either I believe in this company or not. That's my two cents.
so someone sold $150.00 worth - I'm not too worried. It sure has been boring though...
what's the story on the drop today - ?
sounds like your screen name fits your handling of this stock - "too laid back". To make a long story short, months ago the government was attempting to stop some individuals from manipulating stock prices. It appears, that the companies affected had little to do with the manipulation, but their trading was ceased for that period. This, in effect, really killed the momentum of these stocks. According to speculation, CIVX was about to make an important announcement, but since it was put on the greysheets, it was fruitless to make the announcement. In order to trade again on the PK board it has to get a MM to pick up the stock, as well as get all the paperwork back in order. Again, according to speculation CIVX is working on this, and so as stockholders we are waiting, but we haven't heard anything from the company in months. it's valued @ .0001 at this point, so we really have nothing to loose...just wait and see if this phoenix can rise from the ashes.
I guess no news is good news. not really. as it is, I think we've kinda talked ourselves out. There's not much to discuss, we'll just have to wait and see.
it sounds to me like someone just got added a few extra zeros, missed a decimal point, or some such craziness. I've seen it before on other stocks, where someone is trying to sell some in a hurry and mistypes it. Tough luck for them, but it's not an accurate reflection of what the market value is. Additionally, a MM or investor will correct the price just to keep the L2's accurate. It's seems like a rational explanation...
The part that I think we are missing is that Bryan probably always knew this was an option. "Hey, I'll uplist this thing so it's finances are in good shape, so it'll be strong for the future, but if I run out of money then I can sell it. I suspect he was aware of potential buyers existence as he was working on the company. Looking @ share price, etc, I think he's sunk a lot of money into this company and nobody does that without a plan B. So I don't think he didn't get funding and had to sell it someone @ a rock-bottom price immediately. I think the funding didn't come through and so he was forced to plan B, contacted whomever he needed to contact and said - "hey, I'm interested in selling". This makes me feel much better that he got a good price for EVSF, rather than having to sell it quickly to avoid bankruptcy or something.
thanks, I'm glad you told me that.
because they would have to execute our orders before their own, so they couldn't just scoop up the cheap stocks themselves, while leaving the expensive ones on the market, or just plain refusing to fill ours - it puts guidelines on MM's keep them from manipulating the market - right?? Or is that a designation only with higher exchanges, and still not available with the higher PK status.
he probably is tall - but chinese do tend to be shorter than Americans. Ya - he really looks like a giant in those pictures.
