Oh yeah,
Ban him. He's not agreeing with your skewed opinions!!!!
Hope to see something soon. Kinda scary to think we could dip to below .70, pre r/s
Thanx for the clarification. All things considered I now look forward to this with great anticipation.
How do I get to Vegas?
Can anybody explain to me, in simple terms, what compels a select few to continuosly refer to a "major Seagate announcement"? I can't seem to find anything concrete which would indicate this inevitable event. I've even put a call in to Lee, Ma for input but they don't feel there was anything substantial in the works which would justify any PR's at this time.
Just want to know why some keep hinting something's on the way.
That's TOOOOOO funny!
Even I got a chuckle :)
anyone know why we're down .13?
Interesting xxxx,
no one makes comment when rising SP is discussed and disected, but, mention a drop and....................
Giving back some of yesterdays gain at the open............
Was hoping for more
Up 7 1/2% on med volume? Anything coming?
Volume higher than normal. DOWN 4 1/2%?
ANYONE?
All too common amongst some. When things going good, they post all too often. You can tell by the performance of the SP each day who you will and won't hear from that day.
Sort of hypocritical
You speak for many. All the great things we're "on the cusp of" should produce greater market stability.
Did we miscalculate all this time?
My fingers are crossed, as well. Hate the dips. LOVE the rises.
So we should anticipate another .30 drop in SP? Does that mentality "soften the blow"?
Can you explain the difference between a "buying opportunity" and a downward trend?
I seem to hesitate on the issue of cost-averaging for accounting's sake
I'm certainly not finding "silver linings" in this movement.
I see down a penny on 33,000 shares. Has something gone through?
Thanx Indiana,
The declining SP gets me nervous but time will tell.
Down 7% on building volume. Did I miss something?
Heard this tune before, can't name the song!
HMMMMM...........
Interesting, isn't it? Maybe time for some higher ups to have a little intraspection
Is the PR pertaining to RSA old news? Is this why there's been little activity?
And how great would it be if Bill Gates announced that Vista only available to people who purchase systems equipped with Wave technology. This could bring us in hundreds of millions in no time flat!
Enterprise and Gov't? My understanding was, these haven't yet produced big revs. I thought the consumer side would be our meal-ticket. If not until next year, looking for "sumtin' to hang me hat on!"
If that is the case, what does he see for 2007? Aside from his cc's and such, if he's given up on consumer-side '07, what does '07 really hold?
Sound rather gloomy
John_G
I'm actually pulling for 10 digits but would be happy with 7. The fact that Gates alludes to the TPM in conversation gives me goose bumps!
One million at a time
I, too, expected something more out of RSA. People say that "seeds were planted and need time to grow" but with the fanfare preceeding the event I, too, am disappointed.
Looking forward to 2008? I believe it's a little pre-mature to give up on 2007, especially given our limited funds. I don't see SKS discounting the next 3 Q's, either.
Chin up. The lack of acknowledgement doesn't mean it aint happening. Due course, of course!
Weby, I agree. SKS has a pretty good track record in this industry and I see no reason why Wavx won't eventually hit the motherlode. When it does hit you'll see alot of bashers say they "knew it all along"
Sounds good. Unfortunately I put a call into Plano Texas and they had no knowledge of, or information regarding any Wavx news.
Simple economics, perhaps?
If MSFT felt compelled to shell out anything for Wavx, it would first need to see the market demand their services, vis-a-vis revenues, sales, etc.... Just because you're "compatible" with many systems doesn't carry water with the big boys.
IT DON'T MEAN A THING IF IT AIN'T GOT THAT SWING
Nice to hear from you again DRM. Our ships almost here, right?
bid 2.64
ask 2.66
good time to buy???
bid $2.66
ask $2.68
TIA
Maybe I was wrong. At least I'm not new at this.
"Investing 101 classes will commence in 5 minutes"
IF A SELLER CAN NOT FIND A BUYER AT X-PRICE, THE SELLER, IF DESIRED, CAN REDUCE THE SELLING PRICE (ASK). A BUYER, IF SO INCLINED, MAY THEN OFFER TO PURCHASE (BID) STOCK AT THE ADJUSTED (LOWER) PRICE. THIS IS CALLED A SOFTENING OF THE ASKING PRICE.
This is not a reply. It is a retort.
Wavx,
I meant that in order to buy at lower prices, a seller would have to reduce his/her price, or the ASK price. If a seller INCREASES their ASK price, the cost to purchase goes up, assuming someone is willing to pay. That was my point.
You and I aren't new at this.
Two quarters at a time
I was referring to the "ASK", which was germaine to the aforementioned topic of "selling", which has been softening incrementally. The fact that we've seen such little activity has as much to do with the sellers as the buyers. Sort of like a tug-of-war.
It appears to be softening. With patience you should get an oportunity to increase holdings at dicounted prices.
All IMHO
Is this a possibility? How lucrative would that be!
