you should complain, you should have filled at 2.02, since by law the brokerage firm is required to enter your order within 60 seconds I believe. there are records of all trades entered into the system, all movements on bids and offers etc. That is for nasdaq, and I assume BB's since they follow the same rules. call scottrade and bitch yo azz off. have all your trade and order data on that call. they should adjust your fill, but do it today to avoid cancel/rebill charges, if applicable.
i did the same, and at the same price. i believe that the seller is actually accomodating institutional buyers.
what are the barriers to entry in their industry? BTW, That is what I really like about GUFR and the bromine license situation in China.
not bad financials on this one
i think we have a long way to go, if there is another block at $2.00 i am all over it.
the interesting thing here is the license situation for bromine producers in china.. very few licences, and the unlicensed producers are being pressured by the govt. China is not handing out new licenses, and gufr is buying the assets of the unlicensed producers at bargain prices. the last purchase was for less than 4x earnings.
looks like about 4.5 million shares , with one group holding 4.4 of those, less what they have liquidated so far. I hear they are only sellling a small portion of their holdings.
hey asus...
how do people like us get some of them pbls series III preferreds? amazing, huh...
not to mention they do not have an accountant or auditor...
not a soul... which isn't a bad thing...
one to look at...
GUFR.ob
story is just getting started, fully transparent.
I am way up on that one, doesn't change my opinion of management. I will change my opinion when they file with the SEC, WITH the numbers they have spoke about.
why not? how ya been?
can i say how much Paul alonzo sucks on this board?
i would imagine that is a translation software problem.
i think these guys are going to be very, very big. Nice margins, also.
looks like there are buyers around... anyone new, or someone here?
how thin IS this???
looks like the next step, or one of the next steps would be to increase the shareholder base to be NASDAQ qualified.
that is for 9 months, correct?
please define what you mean by "involved", thank you.
And you wonder why I do not answer your questions?
Look, I have seen so many stock scams and semi scams in my years, I can't even count them. This one has all the signs.
that's nice???
hardly.
imagine that... nice save, btw.. and he kicks ME off the board. thanks for picking up the slack.
and this guy gets ME kicked off the pbls board??? looks like without the common enemy, they're having a tough time over there.
hey seeclear! I don't have a paying account so pm me your email address if you can. Thanks!
I am in total agreement with you. I apologize for the wasting of yours and others time.
and how was that post designed to scare people? I cannot wait to hear your response.
i thought they said they would now concentrate on getting their filings done. I hope they acquire an accounting firm.
i would suggest a good reposado or anejo. corazon, chamucos or cuervo de la familia reserva especial, 2005.
file all this under "things to do while waiting for SEC filings"
now discount by 40% for the "I wanna look like a big guy" factor...
any exchange they target is a "high one", as you so eloquently put it.
i can only see that as an interim move. It does take more than just the audited financials to get on an exchange, it takes alot of review and continued compliance. They should be qualified to be NYSE listed if all they say is true, and would need to do a reverse split at that time.
better than flying blind like jr.
i never called what i was talking about a scam. I was saying that there is management out there that cares more about their immediate pay then building the company share price. if you look at rndc,(since bought out) for instance, their non cash compensation was brutal, and without it they would have been alot more profitalble. That does not make it a scam. It makes management poor fiduciaries.
I agree with alot of what you say, and in fact, we are kinda saying the same thing. when I bring up stuff, I want to create an environment where the company might respond,(I am not here to bash to get cheaper shares, thats a laugh) as they did after i bitched about PBLS first saying bestjets is a 80% owned , then they corrected the announcement i bitched in here about that called them wholly owned. Did I cause the correction? who knows... did they correct it? yes.
There is ALOT of info that the 10-k and q will supply, not just basic sales and earnings. It will show what kind of fiduciaries they truly are.
my point is that there are numerous small cap companies that merely exist for the benefit of management, where no independent board exists, where executive compensation in cash, stock and options becomes a drag on the share price. I cannot comment on whether that is or is not the case for PBLS, because we have no idea of executive compensation at pbls, but having the stock price rise is not the only path to riches for PA and upper management. For example, if management is granting themselves tons of options, (and again I have no idea if they are or they aren't and I will not even guess if they are) and those options are at a discount to market, they can make a ton without the share price ever doing a thing. I have seen many nasdaq companies where the non cash executive compensation was consistantly more that the company's earnings, in one case, (the company was bought out at a price that shareholders did not like) the company earned something like .06 for the year and the non cash comp was .11... the company was bought out only after they stopped with the insane non cash compensation.
Again, do not jump on me for saying that they are doing anything like this, because that is NOt what I am saying. I am just pointing out that upper management can make a fortune without the stock going up. Can they make more if it goes up?.. absolutely.
we have a DAD? we gonna get a DAD? we want a DAD? .. notice I refrained from the obvious.
Management will certainly do well if the PPS rises, however, they also benefit from slaaries, stock options, etc. The share price isnt their opnly path to financial well being.
