It is not easy to continue to have patience. I have been here since 2008. Just hold out a bit longer. You will be handsomely rewarded. I just spent three days in Colorado at their facilities. Absolutely first class. This is no longer a lab experiment. Do not listen to the negative blind noise, I assure you, your patience will pay off.
Atikem was asked an hour before the shareholder meeting in the hallway how things were going on his end…His reply
“We are on the runway, ready to take off!”
Life changing opportunities do not happen every day. The share price at this level is one of those opportunities. Shame on you if you are not accumulating shares. Beg, borrow or steal …….
Knocking on 16s door!
. Draw your own conclusion. I am waiting for a joint PR announcement as stated publicly by Michael Lebby .I expect with Tier 1 companies.
Or quite possibly just ONE extremely large company …aka NVDA ?? who wants to ensure every single I is dotted a T is crossed before becoming a partner in our journey to become ubiquitous.
Yielding 8.2%. Should be around 7%. Share price still has room to move up… $17-$18 by year end.
No doubt in my mind we are inside NVIDIA. One has to be living in a cave the past two years not to connect the dots. LIGHTWAVE and NIVIDIA are holding hands!
Nrdc.
I have wondered the same as Lewrock reading your posts over the past 4 years. You sound like a very intelligent educated person. Why in hell do you continue to hold a position in LWLG? Why not just move your hard earned money to another position?
Shame. Should have got in earlier. I know many who are up a good couple mil bags of coin. The world is all about timing. Your time will hopefully come. A little more patience- it will pay off.
Cramer and CNBC are paid programming. They will not discriminate against anyone paying them to advance a narrative. “Tom from California” was a staff member opening a dialogue that Cramer cashed in on. Don’t be fooled…follow the money. Huge amounts of people better that LWLG’s SP will not appreciate in the SHORT term-kind of a pretty safe bet considering the economic world environment today. This is another hit giving us more time to accumulate shares.
Chrome65. SPOT ON!
Why don’t you see revenue anytime soon? What are you basing that assessment on? Just curious-maybe I can learn something. Thank you in advance
Intel has been our very secret and seductive secret mistress for many years. I believe you are correct Steve. START YOUR ENGINES! ????
Tech Bill Aims to Block U.S. Aid for Companies That Build Advanced Chips in China
From my understanding Intel, along with some other semi companies, is lobbying to [i]limit restrictions that the Republicans want to enforce that ensures funding from the bill does not go to their China operations.
How are you doing Steve? I hope the ALASKIAN summer has been good to you. You are one of the founding fathers of the ASM fireside chats along with our Lightwave brothers Egidio and mediabuzz. I think the Hilton is still cleaning up our empty beer bottles. Looking forward to next years shareholder meeting.
Had many a good dinners at the chart house. You should be very proud of your 40 years together. Not an easy thing to accomplish. Goes to your character. One of my bucket list things to do is cruise down the Delaware River one night and enjoy the beautiful Philadelphia city skyline. Cheers to you and your wife my friend! Now get off your phone and give her your undivided attention.
X. You always find a way to make my weekend. You have a gift. Enjoy your Saturday adult cocktails.
Thanks Matt. Another biotech. Interesting. .80 yesterday. 52 w high of $2.05.
I’ve read here that LWLG on iHub is the second most posted board or has the second most members. What company is in the # 1 slot?
Best post of the year! Wouldn’t mind being in Napa with ya.
Thank you very much Steve for your time and personal insights! Who needs institutional analyst -we’ve got the best in you.
Enjoy your weekend.
Thank you very much for the update. Sounds like Dr L and your confidence levels are still through the roof. Great to hear.
Steve Schiets and our friends across the pond…many are looking forward to what was on the menu last night.
Hope you are all well and enjoying the beautiful Belgium summer.
“Pal. Make sure…”
Or what
The act is getting real old! Use to get a laugh from it- now just boring. No one is listening. No one cares.
Spot on Nrdc. We need a financial shark in that conference room in Denver. Time for the PHDs to stand back a bit and a killer finance guy to step up to the plate. 20 longs years… time to go on the financial offensive.
I said the same thing earlier Luis. If the top brass bought a couple of hundred thousand shares…we change the narrative.
Well said Spartex!!
Steve, it was my pleasure to meet you and many of our loyal shareholders. You are a gentleman and good things come to good people. Very happy for your and I do admit, I’m a bit jealous.
I/we did not have the same “Lab tour” experience. Mediabuzz, X and myself stopped at the office compound on the way to the hotel after arriving Wednesday to grab a quick picture in front of the Lightwave Logic sign. After the picture, we went to the front doors of what we thought was the lab and offices because there was a small LWLG sign next to door. The windows were blacked out and no cars in the front lot so we were a bit puzzled. I turned to buzz and X and tongue in cheek said that these guys are a bunch of bums, taking a day off on Wednesday before the annual shareholder meeting. Unbeknownst to us, as we drove to the next building, we discovered the actual offices and labs were behind the front building which we were trying to peak into. We got out, took some pictures and had a good laugh.
We actually got a good laugh from Tom Zellibor and Dr L that night as we shared our story and told them that we thought they were a bunch of lazy frauds for taking the day off.
Side note- the parking lot had about 20 cars or so in front of the offices. Nice to see no Rolls Royce’s, Maseratis, Lamborghinis… in my view, these guys are hungry. They have not cashed in their chips yet and my perception from the visit was they are hard working, modest people that know they have some good hard working days ahead and are not celebrating or flaunting their accomplishments to date. They understand the stakes.
We are fortunate to have a good character group piloting this ship.
Sounds like a Alaskan salmon trip to me Spartex. I’m sure we could wrestle up some longs to join us.
Steve
It was an honor and pleasure meeting and have a couple or ten beers at our fireside chat with you. It was worth the trip listening to your great Alaskan stories. Thank you also for your service to this great country. Looking forward to heading to Alaska someday and doing some hardcore salmon fishing.
Take good care my friend until we meet again.
Mark
Was hoping to meet you in Denver vein. Enjoy your posts.
I mentioned to a BD over a couple cocktails that I felt in my gut that they were positioning this for a buyout or sale soon. I shared that I as well as many of our loyal longs were starting to get a little bit impatient with not having any announcement before the meeting. He shared that he and another ‘finance” BD are not of the patient type and and they too want the ball to be pushed forward and the PHD’s, as he called them, assured them that “believe us, we got this!”
He said that- as we all know that everything is always for sale, but as of right now that is never in any conversation. They want this ramped up big before any of those discussions take place. When you look into these guys eyes, including Dr L, you can tell they are quality character guys.
I left Denver feeling pretty damn good! Not to mention the great friends and friendships that were consummated over many fireside chats and adult beverages
Boys and girls we are GOLDEN!
JM shared with me after the meeting, without even questioning him about it, that the shelf was 100% in place to be used for a huge ramp up if needed to move efficiently and quickly without being behind the eight ball in securing any financing for a quick ramp. They will be ready for any contingencies and don’t want financing to slow them down in any manner. When this rolls, it’s going to roll quick
Agreed! I would still like to take a peak at The GOO
I emailed investor relations today to request a lab tour and they respectfully and promptly declined stating--" it could be commercially sensitive to do so."
#keep out the spies among us
Thank you for posting Mdk1. Just what the doctor ordered. Many nice life lessons discussed on top of tech talk.
‘I only wear black. I started doing this late in the 1990s when I worked as a Corporate Investor for Intel.”
Would be nice to see an audience wearing black shirts at the ASM to honor our fearless leader!
I’m in > anyone else ….
While researching new innovative DISRUPTIVE companies today, nursing my second bout with COVID, I could not help but see so many parallels in the company in the below video with Lightwave Logics long road to success. The discussion between these two early investors of this company reminds me of all the knowledgeable and faithful members of this board. Our day is coming soon with a big huge bang!
I have currently not invested in Joby Aviation(below video) but will be placing my buy orders starting at the market open on Monday.
All- do yourself a favor and give this a watch… I believe your inquiring minds will not regret the time spent..
Interested in your thoughts. Maybe discuss a bit over a nice neat Bourbon at the ASM.
Great job! Thanks X.
Bottom Line: We are a non-revenue producing company that has been trading on speculation and "future" revenues. In today's market environment-those such companies share prices are getting hammered. Better get used to being whiplashed until REVENUE guidance is given from management.
And you are spot on Nrdc---"Lebby's messaging sucks"! I get it, he is a scientist, however someone else in management needs to step up and discuss revenue guidance (if indeed there is any) to the hundreds of extremely loyal shareholder base.
