Hey All,
Long time XKEM investor here, I sold about 10 months and did very well (bought in a year prior). I've kept XKEM on my watch list and always apperciated the good people on this forum. I've been sad to see the price decline the way it has but if I understand it from reading previous posts, Pandley turned out to be a lemon and there's some uncertainty surrounding The Basu Group's intention?
At a high level, what's the general feeling around the board these days. You guys have weathered some hard times, but is the company communicating to investors? Are things looking to turn around? Any news? While SCD is still extremely prevelant, has this company demonstrated anything recently to give confidence in the new management team's ability to execute?
Thanks for any responses,
Cheers!
Wes
What if the BOD just lets the ship shink, presumming all the valuables have moved off to another smaller ship that doesn't have 2.5B shares outstanding or any debt?
What happened to all that money? It can't all have been spent on production and facilities as I see no material ramp in sales.
Look at the charts. MACD reversals have never meant squat other then to build a base for more people to sell more shares
"Not sure what it tells us, if anything."
Sinking like a stone on healthy volume? That tells me a lot actually.
Fair enough ... I'm just left here asking myself, why are insiders dumping like there's no tomorrow at the BID?
What's the excuse dejour today?
Heh, so if you believe our only problem begins and ends with Chassman then you need to ask yourself why she dumps so aggressively?
Chassman selling stock has nothing to do with XKEM not being able to release a 10Q
Chassman selling stock has nothing to do with XKEM's management issues
Chassman selling stock has nothing to do with XKEM's inability to comminuciate to investors or follow through with anything.
Chassman the least of our worries. This company is shit and she knows it. For all those who really care about SCD sufferes, the best thing that can happen is XKEM goes bankrupt and a company with a future buys the assest and IP.
Yup. IF that was really the case, things would stay status quo until the IPO or R/S event.
All good information for the 10Q I suppose. Don't release a 10Q and then who knows really.
Hope is not a strategy, don't let anyone fool you.
Lol, we blame Chassman on the reason our stock gets sold off like most alcoholics blame other poeple for their circumstances.
Pretty funny, we've been blaming Chassman for our troubles for over 14 months, good times!
Right, but with the uptick in the economic environment and Nigerian funds buying into Nigerian companies any stock expansion should find its way into XKEM regardless if it's listed on their exchange
That would be my humble opinion only though. Just trying to look at this logically. If the nigerian market is going up and we're going down, it's not like XKEM is any secret in Nigeria we should be seeing some exposure. If Nigerian funds are smart enough to stay away, what does that say about us?
heh
No they don't, SEC more understaffed than most urban public schools, you think there's some staff that somehow cares the put lost money in a sub-penny stock? lol
Yeah, go take a walk for for like the next five years, heh
Nigeria stock market is erupting and we're being left behind. No manipulation. People are wondering where the 10Q is, period. This stock was buyoued by investor confidence, with no confidence there's nothing left to hold this stock up.
Lol, and the SEC listens to you becuase? Haha, I love it when the n00bs think the SEC cares about some sub penny stock
WTF, Nigerian markets have hit an all time high, why hasn't this rolled into XKEM, what has gotten into this stock?
I don't pay much attention to this investment, but with Nigeria's recent stock market climb we should be seeing this trading back into the .03's.
Was it a buy or sell?
> How long will it take Xechem SCD drug FDA approval? Thanks.
Probably not for awhile, in terms of priorities the US doesn't have nearly the amount of people suffering from SCD that exists in Africa.
There's been some preliminary approval including Orphan Drug status but right now completing the production of the factory and getting enough supply to satisfy demand in Africa alone is far more important.
I am no chartist by any means, with that said, the chart on XKEM really looks poised to take off... MACD about ready to cross over, RSI moving positive, Negative money flow is tailing off looking like it can turn positive, or ....
It will do nothing. Heh. If you look back around 8.9.2006 the charts looked similar but because we never got any news XKEM just stood still. Curious what everyone else's interpretation is?
It's different in the public markets however. I mean, people are acting like it's a surprise that this management team DOESN'T do that. It's always been like this, heh. I was hoping that some addition's to the BoD would help change that but time will tell.
Great post, focus on the business and everything else will fall into place. I'm sick of hearing people complain about the PPS, it's all about the business and growing revenue that's tied to factory completion.
These PR monkeys have never run a business apparently.
Yay, I just turned a long-term shareholder this morning (1 year), great ride, here's to another few good years.
I've always contended that .04 is my FMV target for XKEM. We normally trade in the .021-.024's which from what I can tell is a RISK premium that's associated with this stock. Until the picture becomes more clear and revenues start to fall in line with expectations there won't be any sustained move IMO.
We've got loan news and new investors but it's still Nigeria, still no real revenu and it's still the same management/marketing teams. As these things start to come in-line with the potential, the risk premium will go away and we can start talking P/E.
Drift, yeah and you'll be rewarded because of it. I wanted to buy more shares, especially when I saw it hit .018 a few months back. We'll all be rewarded on this one, things need to settle down in Nieria, revenues will start to flow and all will be forgotten an forgiven in due time.
Great post, I just wish others on here weren't so bi-polar. Those "claiming" to be in this stock for over a year are means that they are still sitting on 100% gains, so whatever (assuming they didn't average up of course).
Drift, I think it was sarcasim, Nigeria is under a lot of turnmoil because of the recently "staged" elections. God damn freedom fighters, I'm sure it's not help us out at all.
Potentially the covering could play out over weeks I think.
Thanks Drift, great post. When you say down the road, what should be expecting in terms of Dilution? I'm actually pretty excited about adding some new, maybe more business seasoned members to the boards.
A lot of the XKEM long-timers have always felt that we've got great minds behind this organization but always needed a little extra punch from the Business/Sales side of the house. This could actually be great.
Quick question guys, coming into this late. Was the 7 Million in financing today for the new investors dilutive, non-dilutive, will this affect the A/S or O/S in any way?
Sorry for being so uninformed.
That's A/S, not O/S. Big difference.
> I stand my prediction of .20-.40 when facility is completed.
Here, here! But will you have any shares left for when it gets there?
drift, forgive me, but you've been long for an incredible amount of time, would any correction really cause you to sell so long as nothing changed with the fundamentals?
I am cautious of all these "to the moon" posts as I think they are over exaggerating XKEM's short term potential. Long term, we all agree this a winner but IMHO, who care what happens tomorrow?
I don't follow this stuff everyday and lead a relatively stress free life. I know what I'm invested in, I'm just concerned about the new investors in this company who may be lead to believe that this is a 10-bagger at current levels within days ... not saying you're saying that but others are.
Just trying to keep it real.
Loan approval for 2.6M isn't news? I haven't been here in awhile, just noticed my account popped 50% the last couple of days so I thought I would stop by. I suspect it has something to do with the execution and good news from the XKEM camp.
drift ... buddy, I haven't followed this stock in months. I mean look at how edgy people get based on the day-to-day. It's nice to hear that this is a sustained run versus a 1,2 day pop.
And let's not act like XKEM's never popped and came right back down, heh. It's been an interesting 12 months, I'm excited what the next 12 hold.
It's just the way XKEM is, 1 step foward, 2 steps back.
Uh oh, here come the sellers ... down goes fraiser...
Are you saying we haven't already seen a nice move up?
Yes, the email was regarding BSM but Fauzie took it upon himself to talk about FGFC, i.e. improving cash flow, looking at acquisition options, etc. It's not what he said, it's what he didn't say. I could be off base here, but that's what I got out of it.
lol, who are you kidding? No one is bashing just to buy our worthless shares. No one is buying.
