Which year?
When do the options that the prior BOD’s own expire?
I hope they expire before we see price appreciation.
What year?
Mc, I believe they are paying dividends on CDMOP. I’m too lazy to go look it up but I think they announced the Div on the preferred in the last 2-3 weeks.
If that’s right you should be able to find it in PR’s from the last month.
Way too flunny. Two decades of losses and you want contributions in two months?
Long term holding
Newbies that don’t know better and think they found a home run.
Khabir is a wrapped up POS like his predicessors but he got to the party too late.
No wonder we have rising sea levels. Those thousands of apparel laden barges heading towards the US are displacing the oceans!
The news release is written in Broken English!
What a joke and a scam.
That would be nice.
I disagree
We did find out Bio.
It was zero.
TOG, it is more than that but the article helped.
We have a new BOD’s with a stated Business plan that so far, they seem to have followed.
The prior board had no credibility, and these guys seem to be fixing that and building on Avid. I think that smart investors are taking note of that.
Funny that the prior crooks were so short sighted that they overlooked the Golden Egg.
Nice to see us over $3
Lord I hate to poo poo on a parade and if it helps I am all for it but I googled CDMO Leadership Awards and it seems they pass out a lot of them on a monthly basis. Many companies recognized in the the last few months.
if you want to see their monthly issue and Award Winners you must subscribe.
Nice!
Sums it up in a nutshell:
The History Of Avid
For the last two decades, Avid (under its previous name, Peregrine Pharmaceuticals) pursued a twin-track strategy of drug development and CDMO operations.
In early-2016, after spending more than $300M attempting to develop its flagship drug bavituximab, the drug failed its Phase III clinical trial.
Management reacted to the news with half-measures – modest cost reductions in drug development, a small investment in the CDMO business, and no cuts to corporate – when an aggressive pivot from biotech to CDMO was required. Peregrine was left with a bloated cost structure, overpaid executives and board members, a biotech business in shambles – and a valuable, under-the-radar biologics CDMO with tremendous potential.
In 2017, an activist investor arrived to set things straight.
At Peregrine’s annual meeting in October 2016, shareholders registered their discontent with the company’s direction by casting a significant protest vote against the board of directors (even with no challenger on the ballot) and by nearly voting down the firm’s executive pay package.
When the activist investor announced it had launched a proxy campaign with a well-qualified slate of candidates for the 2017 annual meeting, it quickly became clear that the vote would be a rout. It was only a matter of time before the incumbent board folded.
In December 2017, the two sides came to an agreement. Peregrine accepted a full overhaul of its board, including the nomination of three candidates from the activist slate plus a new independent chairman. In return, the activist agreed to stand down. Peregrine now had a new board, a new strategy, and a new path forward for its business.
Launch, you need to announce some more fake Panjiva shipments.
A quarter of a penny and they can’t even sell one share.
How are we supposed to pay for the Golf Tournament?
Don’t write them off yet because daily speculation of conspiracy and 100 baggers has disappeared.
There is no correlation between the number of posts here and the success of the Company.
Why do you think they failed?
Many would call it a success.
Here’s how it works.
They never owned it but SK filled our hearts with tantalizing lies.
Since they did not own it, they could not sell it.
“Returned to UTSW” is a graceful way of backing out of Steve King’s lies, IMO.
I am not saying they are Angels but I much prefer them than the prior group.
I understand your frustration over the previous Company that was purchased and it’s prior BOD’S. I feel that frustration also, but it does not pertain here.
We are a CDMO trying to build on the failed efforts that they started.
Talk of past illusions by the prior crooks does not pertain to this company.
We will succeed as a CDMO or not.
There are no puzzle pieces here.
If you want to sue SK and CJ, go ahead, but it has nothing to do with CDMO.
Launch, you have been posting that for two years and not a single one has arrived.
Do you REALLY believe those falsehoods?
I don't think that we will see anything "astronomical" here nor do I think that the present BOD's will tell you astronomical lies like SK and the prior board did.
IMO, if we succeed, we will see slow and steady growth and price appreciation.
Slow and steady to right the ship to keep it from sinking.
Any hopes of sudden tremendous gains are folly.
There is no IP. There is no Peregrine.
We are Avid, a pure play CDMO, who’s ticker symbol is CDMO.
Maybe you are on the wrong board?
I don’t care about past performance or the apparent legitimacy of the ones who turned this around, I care about present performance, future orders and price appreciation.
Personally I will focus on Avid growth and not past history.
Good Morning Wook!
Fly CDMO!
The Event I look forward to is determining a bottom and bouncing up from that.
Yep, and I might have that deal too.
Not saying they sold out but I don’t believe that they here here to steal the IP, which some still cling to, nor do I believe that they have some nefarious, illegal agenda that they are hiding from everyone.
They said they wanted to build a successful CDMO and from all appearance and actions they are following up on their words.
Ronin and Tappon have left the Building.
We are a CDMO.
Talk of past failures with PPHM (IMO) have nothing to do with this Company or its possibility of success or failure.
I understand your anguish, I feel it too, but the Business part of me accepts it as a lesson and says “look at the facts”.
Everything gets tweaked here based on the posters belief!
Sorry to chime in, but from what I heard we will realize income quicker without reducing projections.
If I understood correctly, the old method recognized income when the product was shipped, while the new method realizes it incrementally through production and shipment.
A one time adjustment will be made 5/1 to shift the portions not yet recognized to recognized earnings, to be recorded as “Prior Year Earnings”. After that they will record revenue throughout the manufacturing process instead of just at the end.
Thx 4Our, it looks like the link in my post is broken.
Mod please delete my post with link to CC, TY.
I have so many investments that is not beneficial to me.
It is sink or swim.
We tried I, II and III.
How many Billions did we get?
Agreed Geo. It never had a chance under the old BOD to prove itself or not in an expeditious manner.
I’m afraid now it’s too late, hence my view it no longer determines even a small portion of our fate.
