I do not have the expertise that some of the other people on this board have. Hopefully they might jump in to give their opinion.

I think the Company pretty much has to come out with info Monday morning before the market opens. The CEO moving on to other opportunities is a big deal and I do not think they want the shares trading all day Monday on speculation. That may be why they waited till Friday eve to announce when this probably happened earlier in the week. Gave them all weekend to finalize their press release.
