IBM got ATT DP Facilities and staff and 10 year contract to run the same... AT&T got IBM Network facilities and staff and 10 dontract to run the IBM Network. Both staffs got hosed on benefits. Later such a stink was raissed in Congress about the pension plans that AT&T mde a key concession on medical retirement benefits. it ussed to be you needed 75 years of combined age and years of service to quali fy they lowered it to combined 65 years and i made it. Still I pay 435 / MO. FOR MY WIFE AND MYSELF...IN 99 I RECEIVED $280 k BETWEEN R401K PENSION AND SAVINGS PLAN (TO ROLLOVER ira. IN ACOUPLE OF MONTHS HAD IT UP TO 330K. THEN CAME 3/01 or was it 03/02? down to 140k.... I could sure use AURC to get some cash to rebuild. I've had the same on again off again problem buying HMGP
at TDA.... I have been migrating my money to ZECCO.com
They are part of Equinox Securities and use Penson. No problems with them and following their guidelines there
are no Fees!!!!

If L2L contract was for 3 months from 7/17/07, that gives them until 10/17/07 to set up the meeting.....

I can't find the meeting date on the company website. They seem so intent in their open letter to shareholders that they don't even list the meeting (vote) date.....

many are making lists of options. But they all seem to be based on staying inside AMEP's (CB's) box, as defined in CB's letter to shareholders. We own the company! I say let's go outside the box. Defeat the R/S and then propose increasing the A/S. If the announcements of Padgett #12 and Nash are positve, the stock may get to ten cents/share. This could be followed by a proposal to increase the A/S from 500 million to 600 million (for example). This could raise money for further drilling and appropriate 'awards' to deserving parties.

It 'seems' that people believe that we have a R/S or no R/S decision. It does not have to end there. How do we get a shareholder proposal onto the proxy? I.e. Increase A/S by 100,000,000. This will generate $10,000,000 if we get to ten cents per share.(favorable announcements on our other two wells). If this can't be done because it is in opposition to an existing proposal I suggest voting NO and then proposing a meeting to vote on increasing authorized shares.

My initial reaction was to vote NO. Then I was on the fence because of radical suggestions on this board. But my bottom line is this,

I will vote NO as things stand. I will take my chances that CB will not, figuratively speaking, cut his own throat along with mine.

I will not however, vote yes and again figuratively speaking, risk cutting my own throat. I have worked too hard, too long to do that.

The 'reward staff' really scares me if the 'staff' is rewarded
~ 15% after the R/S, CB and 'staff' will have more than 50% of shares and thus carte blanche to do whatever.

I agree with you as far as the dangers of a NO vote. The dangers of a YES vote are also apparent. This seems to be changing from a difficult decision into an impossible decision.

I could not find that attachment nor could I find the letter on Amep's website. Have you seen the letter? I read the 8k and the DEF14.

Looking at your highlight from the pre prox and lawrenzo's post showing the Q & A, I would deduce the following:

If a proxy is sent back with no designation, it
will count as a vote FOR.

If a proxy is not sent back it will count
as a vote AGAINST.
