space, low trade: I've always been a little skeptical about the idea of paid bashers but if there ever was a paid basher crow is one.
He has no investment in this company yet he faithfully bashs it on online message boards every single day.
Regardless of whether he's the kind of basher who posts non-sense in all caps lock or posts more logical questions the fact remains that he clearly has alterior motives in creating doubt to drive down the share price.
And....?
up-down: Where can I access that information? I'd like to see if the site has any other interesting numbers
Since the middle of June nearly all of our PRs have been in the afternoon...
And just as you type that we tick up again to 305! We're doing fine. Settling anywhere above .03 w/o any news yet will keep me very happy. Be patient
Monkeybiz: No that's not what I'm saying at all.
The person who writes the PRs is Ms. Jocelyn Smith, a kindly, slightly plump, old white lady from Amarillo, Texas with 3 children now grown up. She had a dog Sparky who, sadly, passed last fall and now spends most of her free time with her grandchildren. Her husband, Craig, is currently unemployed after 35 faithful years of service at the local bicycle factory. Jocelyn enjoys time with her grandchildren, flea markets, and Law & Order (but only the original, not the spin-offs)...
No. Obviously that's a joke. Even though you never asked I might as well tell you: I don't know who writes the PRs but it's not Clayton.
Don't believe me? Go ahead ask him yourself. That's what I did.
Cutting Corners: When I placed my last buy of a million shares I did it above the ask and had to keep chasing the ask 15% higher. When my order finally did get filled it was in a few large chunks. Read from that what you can.
monkeybiz: Clayton doesn't write the PRs and he doesn't have any special forward knowledge of PRs because he represents Novak, a large shareholder itself and any special knowledge would be considered insider information. Clayton does, however, have direct access to Jacobson so he can always get information straight from the source.
Let's be PROACTIVE here. What can we do about all the shorting? We NEED to take action and there must be something we can do but I'm afraid I don't know what it is. Any ideas on how to combat the SHO list?
Note how manipulated TNOG is. If you've been watching today's trading everything is "buy of 150k at .0202, sell of 150k at .0203" and "buy of 50k at .0203, sell of 50k at .0202." This is clearly not normal trader activity but MM manipulation. Can anyone else read any further insight into this?
Max57: The two things you talk about "credibility" and "supporting the PPS" are often opposite each other. The fact that management has let the stock retrace without flooding us with PRs in an attempt to prop up the stock price shows us that they are treating their business with credibility and long-term share value in mind. I would like to get the update on the pipeline, which I believe will come very soon but the fact that management has let two tough weeks pass shows they're not issuing PRs as a simple price support but rather when they really believe they're updating the market. For the long-term I see only good signs here in Titan.
Important DD on Novak:
I just had a long conversation with Clayton concerning a lot of the issues that had been raised before. Many of people are concerned about the legitimacy of Novak and rightfully so. I've taken it upon myself to protect my investment and yours by finding out as much as I can about Novak and Titan. I found out their address from a random person answering phones but now I've talked to Clayton and this is what I've found out:
Novak is a firm that has been in business for a few years. They were originally founded in Vancouver but have moved and have satellite offices in a bunch of cities (San Fransico, Chicago, Portland, and one starting in Las Vegas). Many people are under the mistaken assumption that Clayton is the head of Novak. He is not, he's simply the IR man for Titan. I'm sorry but I don't have the full name of the guy who founded Novak, it was Peter Mc-something I think but I didn't take it down. He encouraged anyone with questions, doubts or concerns to contact Novak or to check their liscencing as they are fully liscenced.
Novak is not releasing the press releases, that is the business of Titan itself. Novak has a personal stake in Titan in fact in the form of restricted shares, the vast majority of which can not be sold for two years I believe.
Clayton has visited the Titan site (for anyone who thinks that Titan itself is completely smoke and mirrors....although the previous video and photographs of the site should have proven the existence of Titan already). He says he will be visiting again shortly. He has met Peter Maupin and Ray (last name?) of Midway who were both there on his last trip.
Finally he told me Kent's latest email to him had said to 'hang in there' with regards to the share price and that Titan would be releasing news regarding upcoming ventures, deals, natural gas, the auditing (so they can move to a more legitimate exchange), and so on.
I'm sorry if my thoughts are a little scrambled as I'm trying to remember everything we went over. I didn't take notes from the phone call, which I should probably do next time. Just like many of you the constant bashing on the message boards along with a number of questions raised did bother me. After my phone call with Clayton I can tell you my confidence has been fully restored.
I have no doubt in my mind as to the legitimacy of Titan or Novak and I'm very excited about the next few weeks. Titan is not a scam, it is an oil producing company and anyone can verify this with the Texas Rail Road commission. They are, however, a new company and are just getting started. With all the scrutiny on Novak and Titan coming from investors it's not surprising there are times when doubt can be inspired. As I've said in the past, I encourage you all to call Novak, the Texas Rail Road commission, and anyone who you come across as being connected to Titan. Far too many people raise doubt by posting nagging questions that they could easily have answered if they simply picked up the phone.
Novak Capital's address:
I called them up and their address is
2870 NE Hogan
Gresham, OR 97030
I then did a little research on the address and it appears to be legit. A satellite photo shows me that it looks like it's an office building and google tells me that there's also a realtor in the building, a Dominos, a UPS store, a Mailbox Etc store, and others.
Also the guy on the phone admitted he was new and it that Novak was hiring more people. Finally he said Clayton had been in meetings all morning so....PR maybe? I don't know, just my guess/hope.
Can anyone explain the constant trading pattern I see where there will be, say, a trade of 22,500 at .0320 and then a minute or two later another trade of 22,500 at .0325. This repeats constantly and clearly isn't coincidence. Is this some MM technique and if so how do you read it?
The fact that we had such low volume (~11M shares) signals to me that we have reached a reversal. Even though we were down it was on extremely low volume because selling has dried up. I think we've reached the point where we begin a natural turn around because of the panic and overselling. Covering of naked shorts will propel us much higher over the coming weeks as will natural gas news.
For the first time since May we've had a serious correction in the stock. There is no reason in the fundamentals to justify our share price staying this low. Just as many longs may be nervous about the company, potential buyers are too so don't get scared if buyers don't bring the stock all the way back up in just a day. Remember, steady rises are sustainable, spikes are not.
JT_Marlin: I doubt that...but I think we'll finish around .035
BR: Agreed. Titan is a very promising company. One day's trading isn't going to change that and anyone who was well researched and truly a long shouldn't have been surprised by yesterday's news. The oil revenues alone off of just Koshiusko give us a valuation in the mid 2s.
Then there's gas revenues which are supposed to be even bigger than oil revenues. Then there's also the two other wells currently in production. Finally there's the 17 other wells Titan has leases on which they will begin work on using money from the current wells (not debt).
This company has a lot going for it. It is not a company that will spike to .5 tomorrow and obviously we had quite a few traders in the company who were betting on that. I'm not a trader in TNOG though, I'm an investor and I plan on being here for a while.
monkeybiz: When I go to the SHO List site on Nasdaq I can only see the 29th...nothing for the 30th. We're on it there:
http://www.nasdaqtrader.com/aspx/regsho.aspx
If they had to cover in a hurry that'd be terrific for us. Is there any way to figure out how many naked shorts there are out there?
Cutting Corners: Sorry but could you explain the implications of the fact that we're on the SHO list?
This much I understand: The MMs have been naked shorting TNOG extensively. Doesn't that mean that we're due for a huge move upward when the MMs are forced to cover? Isn't this, therefore, a good sign or can they keep on naked shorting for a very long time...
deadEven: The only liar here is you.
Just because I don't want people to think you can show me up by bombarding me with dumb questions, let's go through them.
-I gave PERFECT documentation. I gave you the investor relations phone number you can call and verify everything esle I said. What, do you want a tape recording of the phone call? Idiot
I'm not going to address your more techinical questions because, honestly, I'm not a petroleum engineer. Your assumption of this (and you clearly assume I'm a PE through the technical questions you expect me to ask) is ludicrous and clearly just bravado on your part. I never claimed to be an expert in oil.
-Titan is going to fund future operations with their current ones so as to avoid going into debt. Titan also plans to start new wells soon and could do one a month for the rest of the year. Obviously the word 'soon' is used because if they had the exact date then that would have shown up in a PR. They're telling us all they KNOW.
-I didn't ask how far they have to truck oil or what the taxes are or any of that because I DON'T CARE. The much more IMPORTANT question is what their profit margin is. I did ask that because I'm not a fool like you. I was given figures between 70 and 80 percent. Once again don't flip out because the numbers are exact to the thousandth. Titan is just getting operations started. Obviously when they have exact numbers they will do a press release.
-As far as who they're working with I was told, as we already know, that they are going to be working with Valor Energy.
-Nope I didn't ask them if they were using some gas to offset power bills because I don't give a crap. All I care is that they maximize profits, avoid debt, etc.
-Why are a bunch of Canadians visiting a field in Texas that no one wants? Because OBVIOUSLY it is wanted. Horizontal drilling my friend. With all the vast knowledge you claim to have you should realize the potential horizontal drilling unlocks in previously unattractive oil fields.
Once again you've said nothing to the contrary of all the FACTS I've provided. You just keep calling them into question but you have no information of your own. Have you ever talk to IR? I encourage everyone to call IR to confirm the things I have stated here. The best thing I heard from them were the plans for expansion at up to a well a month and the expectation of production in the range of $100k to $300k per well per month.
Now I'm done playing babysitter to you. If you have any more questions you can CALL THE COMPANY. Here's the phone number again: 1-888-601-9983
I'm glad you're laughing so much. Hopefully you'll still be as happy when we're in the double digits...I know I will!
deadEven: Do you think I care if you run your mouth on this forum? If you doubt what I posted go ahead and call investor relations. Here's the phone number: 1-888-601-9983
I had an excellent 15 minutes conversation with the guy and got very good information, the most notable of which I've posted. Honestly with all the dumb stuff you post I wouldn't be surprised if you can running back here claiming to have called and claiming to have heard otherwise. Anyone who wants can call that number and verify:
1. TNOG plans on opening new wells soon, and they can complete one per month
2. The estimated production per well per month is between $100k and $300k (oil and natural gas)
3. TNOG has very high hopes for expansion into the Edwards Lime
4. Koschiusko has millions of barrels of oil that TNOG is tapping into. They stopped drilling 300ft short of their expected depth because of high pressure so they will pump that oil. Then they plan to drill the remaining 300ft and do horizontal drilling so one well can tap across a large area.
YOU keep on writing pointless posts with no facts or information just to place doubt. If you think TNOG is so bad you can just leave, no one will miss you. Like I said call up IR and ask them about all of this, my source is completely verifiable. That's more than you can say for yourself.
Also remember all the natural gas they'll be selling. From what I've heard it sounds like their natural gas sales will rival, if not exceed, their oil sales. In my estimation, it looks like we should have ~$200 to $300k per well PER MONTH!
I just got off the phone with IR. Among the most notable things was I asked how many wells will be running by the end of the year and they said it was possible to add a well a month so they could add 6 additional wells by year end!
As far as those numbers about the Stanley wells that we saw last night he said that currently there's a maximum pump rate (a statewide regulation pertaining to set conditions, not something specific to Titan) of 60 barrels a day. They could file to increase this which might involve upgrading the facilities. He also spoke very positively about natural gas production.
Finally he said he would be surprised if we didn't get information before the long weekend! I'm not sure if this was his personal feeling or a hint but I like it.
deadEven: YOU better wiseup fool. The figures he cited were ones I posted over on RB last night from my conversation with IR yesterday morning. I'm just repeating what I was told:
Rough estimate of $100k to $300k per month per well.
IR also told me that they would probably open a new well sometime in the near future.
Your bashing keeps getting less and less reasonable and more ridiculous
deadEven: It says Nutek Oil, not Titan
Anything new on TNOG or still resistence at .065? How about OMOG, AMRE, and AOOR? Thanks in advance and sorry about all the requests.
How many bpd would we need to justify a share price of .1 and .25? Does anyone know the calculations?
wzebra: What kind of investments does the Yorkville trading group normally make? Long-term? Short term?
Yorkville trading group?
koolmc: I don't mean to sound like I'm attacking you but if you do your DD you'll see that there's no one 'behind' TNOG. It's a legitimate company (planning to move off the pinks) and their management has demonstrated its commitment to quality (not pumping the stock price) over and over again. TNOG is a terrific investment IMO
TNOG surging into close. Production numbers expected early next week...probably gap up Monday just like it did earlier this week.
IMO
Unusually low volume on TNOG...eom
lowtrade: Thanks a lot for clearing that all up eom
Excellent analysis lowtrade. I have a question though. What is it that you were explaining at the end about lines crossing? What's crossing what and what does that mean for the share price?
Also just to clarify, when you say the MMs are trading it sideways you're saying that they're accumulating shares, right? Are you saying that the MMs are slowly and quietly loading up on shares because they believe TNOG will go higher?
Sorry about the novice questions and thanks again!
