Thanks! .NET is probably easy for someone that knows what they are doing (i'm learning). It took over a year to get the site all the way functional to where i'm happy with it. Crypto's are fantastic as a safe means of accepting payment. Over the past couple of years I have dealt with so many CC chargebacks it is almost pitiful. This is exactly why I love crypto as I don't lose sleep at night worrying about chargebacks!
It is certainly a fun business and is growing like mad!
Our site is ASP.NET MVC. I was able to complete the development of the plugin I needed just yesterday! I'm not programmer but I have enough knowledge to hunt-and-peck until it works! I'll check out your site this evening.
I can't remember if I have posted anything about the business I run or not..??..
Surprisingly/Not-Surprisingly I run a physical gold & silver retail company! So i'm essentially a gold & silver trader which I LOVE doing. Here's the site www.shinybars.com
Nice! I did statistics like mad for about a year...I quickly got tired of being wrapped up in endless numbers! What kind of dev do you do/know as I might seek your assistance as there are a few things I would like to do on the business site.
All things aside, I'm really considering firing the forex platform back up. It might be better suited for me these days as I much busier running the business and working another full time job. The time away from the platform might be beneficial as one of my problems was planning a trade, entering, then bailing early and not sticking to the plan! If i'm busy and not watching the platform, perhaps my trades will play out as planned.
What is your new website? I'll have to check that out!
Been doing pretty good! Just busy with business and work...that's about it. For some reason I got the itch to possibly fire the forex platform back up and that reminded me to visit IHUB. How have you been? You still crunching market numbers these days?
How has it been going Forex Traders? I see a lot of "old" faces around here. Just thought i'd pop in and say hi!
What are your thoughts on the reasoning/justification for increasing the AS to 2b? Seems senseless, useless and nothing more than a warning sign to me....either way i'm still holding at the moment and pondering whether I keep this gamble in my portfolio.
I'm considering the same. It's hard to ignore the fact that the AS was raised substantially which could indicate the possibility of a P&D (Again) from these folks.
XSNX is looking good as of late. I just hope they keep the crazy AS in their pocket and don't ream us investors. It's good to be out of sub-penny land that's for sure.
How about the last big PR that they didn't release?
Authorized Shares increased to 2 billion on 8/19
You're probably on the right track! I wasted 6 months of my life, working with a statistics pro only to fail just as bad as I have on my own on that subject. So I know why you gave that up! Anyway, i'm no gold or silver bug, but I believe my business will certainly set me up for future financial success....I have plenty of inventory at the moment and consider it a USD short!
Hanging in there anyway. I still do a little trading. Mostly to hedge business transactions though. How's the trading been going around here? Have you cracked the mathematical code to the market yet?
After my second statistics course in college, the professor approached me to do a research project and present to a statistical organization. Anyway, the project was on the markets. Not necessarily predicting, but rather mathematically optimizing returns over a period of time. Needless to say, after 6 months of research we threw in the towel and dubbed the project a failure. One thing we did learn though is the whole common knowledge stocks or bonds during recession or expansion thing is bs.
I'm doing well. Finished school, now i'm working full time and trying to run 2 businesses. Oddly enough, one is a gold and silver bullion dealer and the other is computer support/repair!
How's it going around here these days! Good to see Capitalist and Ataglance still at it!
Sucks. Anyway, about 2.4mil shares have hit the tape in post market....rather odd.
Odd post-market action in NAV. Just went back to flat for the day after closing at +1.90. One trade was 829,500 shares at 27.066 then 1100 shares at 25.93. Because of my greed, i'm hurting on my NAV puts. I just hope we get a nice selloff tomorrow!
Downgraded by another analyst: Navistar Downgraded to Underperform - Analyst Blog
I honestly could not imagine being JPM and spewing such silly logic to the public. Now the $2bil losses make more sense to me if they base their analysis as stated with the NAV upgrade.
Looking good! I STILL have my NAV puts that I probably should have dumped yesterday. lol
Just a quick spray of logic from JP Morgan(re;NAV):
Ok, here's the title of an article from a popular news site: "Unforeseen Risk Led to JPMorgan Losses"
Now, I don't know if you all have been following the NAV story, but its quite interesting and they are at risk of losing an immediate several million in revenue. So, here's an excerpt from JP Morgan's NAV upgrade from today. "Navistar (NAV) has endured so much bad news lately that the risk of further disappointment is now diminished, says JPMorgan "
Perhaps they should take the time to "foresee" risk rather than assume basically that there's "nowhere to go but up" for Navistar. Amusing and senseless in my opinion. Thoughts?
FSLR sinking pre-market. -0.20 last I looked.
I'm officially green on my NAV puts! I thought for sure this position was going to expire worthless for me....which would have been a big chunk out of my cash!
Just read the article I referenced about NAV. Terrible news for them. Bad earnings, now this news could be destructive. I expect quite a bit more downside and may see green myself today/tomorrow!
NAV -2.00 come on 25
Reason for NAV's spastic action today? US Court Tosses EPA Diesel Engine Rule That Helped Navistar (Dow Jones)
Come to me NAV...fix my bleeding Puts before Friday already! Nasty selloff all of the sudden in NAV.
JDSU 11.00 C .02 X .04
I just averaged down at .50
Terrible entry for me. It is now at .65. I may average down and hold for next week.
Eying NAV 25 June 16 puts @ .80. I have a limit (40 Contracts) order in for that level.
Had to make up for my bleeding AAPL and LNKD calls. Thankfully, I they can now expire worthless tomorrow and i'll still be well into profit for the week.
Thanks. That's my second trade on NAV and is 100% thanks to "gambler". I banked about $4600 on NAV yesterday evening and today. I'll buy some more puts again if it bounces back to .85 or better on the 25 Puts.
Out NAV puts @ 1.40...about $1600 in 19 mins.
Filled Sell to Close 30 NAV Jun 16 2012 25.0 Put Market 1.40 -- -- 14:40:44 06/07/12
I wonder also, would have been a great trade but risky. I feel that it is a "dead cat" bounce, my puts are up to 1 already, I may just close them out if I see 1.10-1.25. I sure would like to see 3.00+ again today though.

I'm still holding LNKD weekly's and June 16th expiries. It's unfortunate what happened yesterday as my calls are bleeding. Hopefully I get enough recovery to dump them before the EOD tomorrow. Thanks to NAV, BAC, X, and WYNN i'm net positive regardless of the LNKD calls...so i'm pleased either way.
Closed NAV for 500%+ on 10 contracts thanks for the heads up gambler! This is the beauty of this board, NAV wouldn't have crossed my mind hadn't gambler posted his call.
Filled Sell to Close 10 NAV Jun 16 2012 25.0 Put Market 3.10
Indeed! Thanks UPB. I closed mine yesterday unfortunatly...still banked though.
