What do you mean by a reference file? This looks like a legitimate Scanbuy document marked confidential. Is NeoMedia or Scanbuy aware that this document on the net?

MAPORAMA INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH SCANBUY® TO OFFER NEW EXCLUSIVE MOBILE SERVICES
Paris, December 15th 2005 – Maporama International, the leading supplier of geocentric services, today announces a strategic partnership with the American company Scanbuy®. This association announces great revenues perspectives for Maporama International, thanks to the implementation of an innovative technology associating bar code scanning from a camera phone and the geocentric services from Maporama International.
Maporama International and Scanbuy® partner to offer in world premiere a new geocentric content service on mobile phone.
Scanbuy® is the leader of a bar code scanning technology from camera phones (mobile phones equipped with a camera). This innovative technology consists in simplifying the access to multiple informative contents (product information, prices, customer ratings, points of sales listing, etc..) thanks to the optical capture, from a simple camera phone, of a bar code placed on any product or advertising material (billboard, paper, PC or TV screen, etc..).
Maporama International and Scanbuy® partner to complement the content access service with advanced geocentric services. This association represents a unique innovation on the market. From now on, Maporama International provides, thanks to its geocentric services, cartographic content anywhere and at any time, thanks a simple scanning of a product bar code or advertising material. Giving access to people and professional to a cartographic content in mobility situation, the users will instantaneously know where the point of sale is, and how to get to it.
A unique services offering dedicated to customers and mobile professionals
The capture of a bar code located for instance on an advertising poster, generates in only one click an automatic connection to the Maporama servers. Then the servers send on the mobile phone the point of sales list (ranked by proximity order and that offer the special deal or promotion highlighted by the poster), along with the precise itinerary to get to the chosen point of sale.
This unique offering from Maporama International opens multiple application domains in the sectors of distribution, tourism and travel, services and communication.
Indeed, the implementation of this service remarkably facilitates the customer displacement on the point of sale, giving them from their mobile phone in a single click, at anytime and anywhere, the geocentric information needed to get successfully to the point of sale. This mobile service strongly contributes to the return on investment rate of the promotional marketing campaigns, and effectively improves the marketing activities closed to the customer’s needs.
Also available from all mobile professionals, the service offering deployed by Maporama International, in association with Scanbuy®, is a productivity booster for the company and facilitates the link between the field and the headquarter. An example: a maintenance technician finishing an intervention on a customer product, points his mobile phone on the bar code of the repaired product. The bar code scanning automatically generates an intervention report, including the customer’s localization and immediately activates the information transmission to the information system of the company.
The business perspectives of such an offer are tremendous, in view of the 30 millions of daily users of the solution in Japan: the number of scanning has exceeded the SMS sending, that proves the excellent acceptation rate of the application from all the users.
« The association of Maporama International and Scanbuy® guarantees our customers a very rapid return on investment: instantaneously giving them all the information necessary to their displacement on the point of sale, we participate to the decrease of the product buying cycle. From this point of view, Maporama International is a key partner; it is the one provider of cartographic content able to guarantee a perfect technological leadership on this application as well as the high quality of geocentric information. It will significantly enrich the Scanbuy’s solutions” comments Olivier Attia, CEO of Scanbuy. “More than a partner, Maporama International is a strategic player of Scanbuy business development, because they will on the core of its development. “ adds Olivier Attia.
Commenting on this partnership, Sydney Drahy, President of Maporama International, explains: « Maporama International works to increase its business development and innovate in terms of mobility services. This process results on the association between the bar code scanning technology and the geocentric services, which revolutionize our customers market (distribution brands, hotels chains, banks, logistics and maintenance companies…) and the users way of living, who are constantly looking for mobile solutions in their daily buying processes. The feedback we get from the market is unanimous: the revenues perspectives are excellent”.

I don't question Mobot's ability at all. Obviously, both companies see more value together than apart.
What patents?
They have no patents. If you look at Neven and competitors, you can see why Mobot wanted to be acquired by Neom.

thanks
got lucky
bought yesterday
and now Cramer :)
I am aware of that.
Thanks to the ihubbers that went.
So, the answer to my question appears to be yes.
If the answer is no, then indeed we should hear some good news sooner or later.
Thanks Success.
I hope you are right. I know I should have gone. What happens if Cornell is in trouble? Is it possible for Neom to lose Seda?
Material News?
Is there a legal difference between information being disseminated at a shareholders meeting or even on a companies website verses a press releases? If you are in a SEC defined QP, can you discuss non-material events at a shareholders meeting, and not be allowed to place this information a PR?
Is that for the SEC that is supposedly investigating Cornell and his companies involved in PIPE?
I appreciated the DD to the contrary, but I often think the delays are related to that investigation.
"Necessary Evil" doesn't sound like M&A.
Yes, I see lots of good things as well.
Saskwatch
"I was informed that when the QP is over, we may not know that it is officially over other than the fact that they will be releasing ‘material’ news, and a lot of it." - JP
Saskwatch - where did you hear about releasing non-material news? I don't believe Neom was ever in the habit if releasing non-material news. It appears that there was more non-material news in the PP than I have ever seen in any of their PRs. Frankly, I am rather surprised at what they where willing to say in their PP.
With TS's buy UNDER .30, looks like you will get your chance to buy cheaper shares.
Let's hope Neom can provide some positive material news before TS lowers his buy under to .20
Secure Digital Scan Card.
At $269 and only reading 1-d barcodes, it looks designed for enterprise only.
IMHO, this has no relevence to NEOM. Strangely enough, Neom shook hands with AirClic stating that their enterprise business was not infringing their tech. I believe Neom's presentation says they will only use 1-d for enterprise?
Your description matches the demo word for word.
Please describe how what you see is different.
Can you paste the website your mobile shows?
Much appreciated.
Sorry, I cannot respond privately.
Beyond?
So your mobile go-window goes to the same demo as the go window on their website?
The only words we know for fact bought and paid for appear to be Virgin's.
Success:
Didn't this board on many occasions have discussions about the fact that the lens was a problem for Scanbuy, not NeoMedia? I never understood this point. Why wouldn't both companies have the same problem since they are both software-based technology?
It seems my confusion about this point was on target. I would appreciate some help with understanding the difference between the two software’s as it relates to the camera lens.
Thanks Success:
I found this:
What does a fifth character "E" indicate for an OTCBB security?
The fifth character "E" on an OTCBB trading symbol indicates that NASDAQ does not have information which demonstrates that the issuer of the security is compliant with the filing requirements of Rule 6530, either because the issuer is delinquent in the required filings, has filed an incomplete filing, or, for non-EDGAR filers, because NASDAQ has not been provided a copy of the most recent filing.
The purpose of appending an "E" to the security symbol is to alert all interested parties that the security will be removed from the OTCBB unless evidence of compliance is provided prior to the end of the applicable grace period (30 days for EDGAR filers, 60 days for non-EDGAR filers). Anyone possessing evidence of compliance with Rule 6530 may provide that information by contacting the OTCBB Issuer Filings Department.
and delisted too?
13,500 shareholders
Not that it matters, but the last number I remember was less than 900. Then again, I can't find my keys.
I believe he lowered his buy under many months ago.
8 new employees:
Does anyone know what these positions are?
