You sound like Georgie.
I think he got $119K of $125K. It was also linked to stock performance.
Not that it matters, in the whole scheme of things, but Dr Misslings Annual Bonus is based on the calendar year not the fiscal year. It’s stated in the Annual Report, Section 11, I think.
But anyway, enjoy the holiday remembering all those who have gone before us, also keeping in mind, our Founding Fathers who gave us the freedoms and liberty that we have enjoyed for years but now seem to be slipping away.
I disagree with most of your bs but releasing the unfavorable Rett data on Jan 2nd still p’s me off. This was clearly an attempt to secure his annual bonus. It worked. Even if the law suit is a success, it won’t cost Missling a dime. Shareholders will be the ones paying the price.
We probably could all use it right now, to prevent or delay a number of age related diseases or at least slow down the aging process. A lot of its benefits were discovered during clinical trials. I think Missling even said it could be used like a daily vitamin. Much more to learn what else it does but I think we know enough for approval now. Right Now!
Most, if not all, of the new hire positions are remote positions. These hires give the illusion that wow, we’re really growing, working feverishly together in the lab to add final tweaks to quickly finish what needs to be finished to bring this product to the world. Just to be clear, we operate out of an office in NY.
It is already being administered for compassionate use. Is “Right to Try” only for terminally ill patients?
The FDA and EMA documents are being prepared in parallel, IMO, for Rett in the U.S. and AD for Europe. When approval for Rett Syndrome happens, off label for AD in the U.S. and Europe will happen overnight making the EMA process for AD a bureaucratic nightmare. Our little company will make the big time and Dr Missling, MA, PhD will gain genius status. All my opinion. Do your own due diligence. Or this could all be bs, also, IMO. Still kind of on the fence whether this is all for real or not. Still a coin flip for me.
Missing would gain Hero status if he has the completed documents for FDA Approval for AD and Rett Syndrome sitting on his desk and submits to FDA immediately upon FDA rule change.

With a long history of stating total bs as fact, maybe he should apply for a job at some news media channel. He would fit right in. Or maybe some religion channel. A lot of them seem to have their own game going on.
Glad I got back in at $4.20

That’s a lot of shares. I cannot totally believe Missling is as corrupt as he sometimes appears to be. Lack of transparency, missed deadlines and a seeming lack of ability to capture the talent of those he surrounds himself with certainly doesn’t add credibility to his resume. But, with that being said, there does seem to be changes happening in the FDA that could boost our chances of approval in the not too distant future. Rett and AD are still on the table, according to Missling. If they somehow find a way to cross the finish line with A2-73, 50 bucks per share will look like pocket change. All my personal opinion, fwiw, so don’t take it as investment advice. Maybe Missling will taper his ego a bit and let the professionals around him do their job.
This “growth strategy” term seems pretty general. But it could give the sp a significant boost if the “strategy” is to apply for EMA approval “next week”, FDA approval for Rett “next week” and Missling’s retirement “next week.” He seems to be all about the money so a sp boost would fall in line with him cashing out. Maybe not $5 to $100 but could be a significant rise. But, then again, maybe not.
Looks like a no win for AVXL. Looks like Misleading’s days as CEO are coming to an end. Could only be good for the company though, IMO.

The Annual Meeting seems to be all about the money. Looks like they are dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s for Misleading’s departure. Doesn’t surprise me that he got his Annual 2023 Bonus of 124K for the failed Rett Trial that wasn’t reported until 2 days after the end of year 2023.
Maybe they could use that test on the “super responders” from years ago to better prove they had Alzheimer Disease.
And her unrelenting negative emoji’s seem to be her frugal attempt at censorship.
He left in April. Isn’t this a material event? Just asking.
Why is Missling sharing results from a pre-clinical animal study? Why not share the results from the Phase 2b/3 trial? Just asking. This is beginning to look like a 10 cent penny stock.
It seems unlikely a favorable candidate to treat/cure Alzheimer Disease will appear any time soooon. I thought Blarcamesine had a running chance but not so much now. The rate of growth of incidences of Alzheimer Disease globally is concerning. The thought of creating generational wealth by investing here, under the failed leadership of Missling and his cronies for the past 9 years, I find appalling. My Bad! For now anyway, the best way to defeat Alzheimer Disease is to avoid it. India has one of the lowest rates of AD. Japan is another. This article seems a good starting place to start using food as medicine:

George is expecting another 1.6 million shares sold today.
Why doesn’t he just submit the dang disc? Problem solved. Printing is so outdated anyway. Save the trees. Rett failed. Now I’m beginning to wonder if it works for AD. If it stops brain shrinkage, that’s a good start. Maybe it needs to chaperone with another molecule. Come on Missling, people are suffering.
Basing the share price on a pre-submission application or a law suit going away presents a sad state of affairs for a company. AVXL is a precision medicines company not a dodge and weave enterprise. Phew! Glad we missed that one. In better hands, A2/73 would have been approved years ago. This seemingly hiding data results or an ongoing intense cherry picking exercise doesn’t help. Even Biogen gave us a pass back in the day.
Missing would probably be more qualified for a CFO position at some other company not as CEO here. The only hope I see and this may be a huge stretch is Missling holding back releasing AD data until the FDA eases requirements for approval. That is my best effort for cutting this guy some slack.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. It’s interesting to watch people come to their senses. But, then again, maybe I will some day regret getting out just as others may regret staying in. That’s the million dollar question for now. I may even get back in at some point. But, at least I’m not troubled with my decision for now.
To walk Missling to the exit door. That was easy.
Good points but why doesn’t Missling see WGT? I got out in high 6’s but am on the 50 yard line still struggling whether WGT or not. I don’t believe Missling is a genius but am also not convinced this isn’t a fraud.
Yes, Yes, Yes. Government workers have a reputation for being hard workers especially when they can never get fired. Now I guess he’s working hard at Anavex, another place you can’t get fired from even if you should be, if you know who I mean.
We have a drug looking for a disease. AD, Parkinson, Rett didn’t pass go, at least so far. Now anti-aging. Is old age a disease? Why not. Then there’s the secret indication.
If Missling has even a single thread of sincerity, honesty and belief that we will succeed in bringing A2-73 to market with great success in making lives better for groups of people suffering from CNS or other diseases, then I wish him well and will celebrate his success but if this is an ongoing fraud, then he needs to be brought to justice. Then we will be the ones to show it was not good to do it this way. Just my humble opinion.
Maybe A2-73 taken with gallons and gallons of water would curtail aging:

Missling seems more like a child than a ceo. It’s like a child that wouldn’t sell his favorite toy for a billion bucks even if it’s broken. There is something broken here that defies explanation. The science and clinical trial results so far seem marketable. Yet, Missling seems to hold tight onto a broken toy. What is it with this guy? He certainly doesn’t care about the shareholders and beyond that seems to have no compassion for those whose lives he seemed to want to improve. The only explanation, as hopefully far reaching as it may be, is something may be amiss here. What it is escapes me. The only thing that seems to get Missling discombobulated is a law suit. Well, here we are. All my opinion.
I hope Dr Missling is ok and these Linkedin posts are not a response to the frustration one could only imagine of having a compound that could revolutionize how diseases are treated focusing on the causes and not symptoms in the CNS world of diseases. I truly believe we have a miraculous compound. Otherwise, I could entertain thoughts of being desperately strung along in a company’s final attempt at survival. GLTA including Missling.
Unfortunately, that would give Misleading a way out without consequence.
