To da moon...
Waiting on news. Still.
Nice Timing on the Announcement...
During hours, on a Friday going into a long weekend!!!
GO LQMT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LQMT = Long Term Hold (For Me)
I've had a position for over 2 years and have seen many ups and downs.
LQMT is a long term hold for me.
With the volume, the "Usual Characters" are in the thread posting (both pumpers and bashers), those same characters will be moving on to the next thread(s) in a few days when things settle in again.
If you believe... Buy or Hold your position
If you don't believe... Sell
If your a day trader... Well, Trade!!
Where is LQMT priced now. I'm on 20 minute delay and can't get into my trading platform from work.
Forever
The past 2 weeks are as good as I've seen in LQMT!!
Incrememntal gains that hold!
Slow and steady as we rise rise rise!!
From your mouth to God's ears!!
Exciting Times Longs!!
Great post Sandy!
I'm silently sitting and waiting along with you my friend.
When "it" happens, there will be no time to catch the train.
I'm even right around a quarter. I planned on selling some when we hit .25, but I have changed my mind and will continue to hold. I will probably sell half at .50 and ride free shares from there on UP!
GO LQMT!!
Yeah... But I was drinking my OWN Koolaid back then!!
I bought a spike at the high...
About a year and a half ago, I bought a block on a spike (at the high, at the close) when the price was ~.365.
LQMT opened down and faded back to it's norm at the time of .2999
Thanks for the replies...
So my thoughts are that since Apple has not done anything with Liquidmetal to date (that has made them money) and that Apple has spent a whole lot more than the original $20MM on R&D (working with the alloy) that there will be a point where Apple uses Liquidmetal in one of it's products.
Although LQMT won't directly financially benefit from a Liquidmetal/Apple product (as in get a cut of profits), they will no doubt benefit indirectly from the exposure.
"If it's good enough for Apple... It's good enough for me [insert company name for me]!!
How has Apple benefitted from the $20MM contract
To date, what has Apple gained from the 2010 $20MM contract (and subsequent extention)?
I agree Sandy...
Quite honestly, it may be 2015 but like you... I don't care.
I'm holding my long position and waiting.
I do look at the stock price of LQMT every day (once) at the close of business but don't stress about it as I'm not making any trading decisions.
Merry Christmas to you to Bro!!
I "mentally" have given up on further production in the "White Collar World" for the year.
Wrapped it up today at 11am.
I'll be sure to do a few "Hollywood" appearances throughout the next 3 weeks just so the owners of my company know I'm not dead or in jail, but my 2013 production numbers might as well be run on Monday as they're not gonna change... LOL :)

TO Da Moon!
Under the right circumstances, a reverse split could help.
With ~700,000,000 shares either in the street oe soon to be, it's unlikely the value of the LQMT ticker would get to $5.00.
If however, it got to $1.00 and did a 5 to 1 RS it would be valued in a way that institutions could buy it under their internal "rules" and also at $5.00 it could go back on NASDAQ where the real players are.
The individuals actual cash value would be the same.
It's not like a stock at .0001 doing a 1,000,000 to 1 RS so it can further dilute back to oblivion IMO.
Exactly why a well timed reverse split may make sense!!
Reverse Split...
If there is a reverse split, my thoughts are that it will come as a positive thing for shareholders (as opposed to a negative as many think).
IF we were to actually start making money, based on real profits from a recurring revenue source and management did a reverse split to hike the share price to a level that would let LQMT to get back on NASDAQ, it might make sense.
The "math" would all be the same... and we sure have enough shares outstanding!! LOL :)
What I Like About Liquidmetal...
Although there is no arguing your point, there is something about LQMT that keeps many of us haning in there.
For me, I like the technology and really don't see another "direct" play in the field. I believe that at some point something profitable will take place and from then on there will be no turning back.
ONE real contract is all it will take.
I see LQMT back in the NASDAQ within 5 years at a reputable stock price.
Happy Thanksgiving
Wishing you all a Very Happy, Healthy & Safe Thanksgiving!
To keep this post on point... The rise in share price this week is great. I don't think it's anything more than momentum though because if real news comes out from a reputable source the spike would be much greater.
Good to see LQMT heading in the right direction though.
Enjoy the long holiday weekend my friends!!
Thanks for the "Reality" check...
It's certainly exciting to see a rise in share price with above average volume, but you are correct to bring the facts to the forefront.
I'm long from an averaged price around $0.25 and holding into what will surely be another decrease when the ~96MM shares hit the market.
Good luck to the longs... Keep reality in mind with your trades!!
Apple Said to be Developing Curved iPhone (Link)
In an article I read this morning from Bloomberg, Apple is said to be developing a new "curved" iPhone.
This could be a great time for Apple to start using Liquidmetal!

Thanks for your post!
Just checking the pricing at lunchtime and freaked a little.
Apparantly no biggie as in not related to LQMT.
I'm not sure I understand your reply...
For whatever reasons, I believe (speculate) that LQMT will see an appreciation in the stock price as opposed to it crashing into oblivion.
I'm down a decent amount of money, but still held when LQMT was at 5 or 6 cents a while back. At ~0.14 I'm fine with it.
Lots of interesting speculation...
Another year, lots of new speculation.
It seems at some point somthing profitable will happen. None of us are probably correct, although there continues to be some very interesting perspectives.
I'm long and just holding on because as I've always stated/felt... If/When something actually happens, there will be no chance to quickly buy in and ride the wave.
OMG that's too funny
I've never even heard of that site but just looked at it
I'm laughing my butt off!!
Best of the best!!!!!
LQempty... Too Funny, I just saw your reply!!
Liquidmetal iPhone 6
Every iPhone cycle is a cycle closer to AAPL using LQMT in the case.
I saw a Droid commercial this morning touting the use of carbon fiber. The add stated "5 times the strength of steel... blah blah blah.
I think Apple is holding the "Trump Card" in Liquidmetal.
Definitely some new interesting stuff going on
WOW... http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=nmona&article=59607389
Time to back up the truck... again!!

$4.00 a share works for me...
I haven't been posting lately but still follow the board and the stock price.
Are any of you posters still wound up about VPC?
Now that the website http://www.visserprecisioncast.com/ is up and running, I'm glad to see a Liquidmetal reference http://www.visserprecisioncast.com/ !!
That is funny!

3D-Printed Rocket Parts Excel in NASA Tests
There's been a bit of conversation here about 3D Printing relating to Liquidmetal.
Here's an article about NASA and it's use of 3D Printing... I didn't realize how advanced the technology was until reading this article.
