Well, I was, but I got in at 1.07, saw it drop to around 37 cents or so, then watched it rocket after the phase 2 NSCLC results and sold out at about 2.42 and 2.82. Then I saw it go all the way over 5 bucks and I was starting to feel like I lost money even though I more than doubled it. Then "Black Monday" happened when they announced that the results were botched and it plummeted to below a dollar overnight. Crazy ride.
I've researched this company up and down. This price level is unreal to me. I have 16.6% of my portfolio riding on this and that's among a field of very undervalued biotech stocks right now.

Yep, I fully expect the data to be good. But I don't honestly think it's necessarily going to be that great of a catalyst because I think that everybody is expecting it. But at this level, the optimism is obviously not at all baked in which is the most puzzling part about it. I just think that there isn't enough regular traders interested yet to move the price, so institutions have to load up to really move it. I think what is really going to drive the price is when rumors of a buy out begin to happen a little while after the data is released and people come out of the woodwork to write articles about it. Then it's going to get interesting. Institutions will also be increasing their positions slowly over time as well, so it's going to be bumpy for sure, but you're right, it's going to blow past 10 and into the teens pretty quickly once the buzz gets big. Good luck to all longs!
Is any of this public information? Thanks for answering! I'm tempted to take a nibble here based on the price history. This seems to be about as low as this one gets.
Absolutely! So did I! I made this my largest position this morning. Boy what lucky timing!
I don't blame you a bit. This thing moves like a slug.
TGTX is my largest position and if I wasn't a chicken, I'd get even more. I think this is far and away the most undervalued stock in biotech. But today I have taken a large enough position that I'm just going to sit tight for awhile. It's amazing that it's being kept down for so long. Once it breaks 7, I think it will blow past 10. All IMHO of course :)
Yes, that's exactly the point. The optimism isn't at all baked in yet. It's still a great value, otherwise I wouldn't be talking about it. Are you long?
I love this stock. It's 9% of my portfolio after adding more today. I'm guessing that I'll be having to trim it in a month.
Yep, I'm here :)
PTLA is almost 5% of my portfolio with the nice run today. I'm really feeling good about increasing my position today. I like TGTX better, but this one is top ten in my book.

Great buying opp today. Big spike down on low volume caused by panicked, uninformed investors. They have enough cash to last into 2018. There aren't any negative catalysts left, only positive ones!

It is obvious to anybody that is not clouded by hopium that pphm management doesn't think shareholders deserve to be informed about what's going on. What is the bull case for pphm at this point? I haven't followed it since the failed sunrise test. Everybody on this board was saying it would make or break the bull case. Now with that failure, why remain in this stock? I'm not asking rhetorically, I know I don't know the bull side, that's why I'm asking.

I humbly accept those corrections and I have updated the article accordingly. I disagree about the prescriptions. I know it isn't easy, but I think the superior safety will get some decent sales. I'm definitely not bashing Amarin. I think they are decently valued, just not in the top 10 based on the limited upside. It's just too little too late. But I don't think it's a bad investment. Good luck to you.
You are very welcome! I love companies like CYDY with so much upside. I hate seeing people fall for the hype on companies that have already made their big move or have the best case scenario baked into the price. I have high hopes for CytoDyn even though there is a lot of risk. There is even more upside IMO.
