Thats an unregistered prop firm, which is different from a retail brokerage like ameritrade.
what do you mean by boxing?
you do any autotrading?
congrats
What do you think about VRSN, they preannounced but premiums seem pretty low?
Yeah, still slow, its a web-based broker, not direct access, so its got limits
Rarely, I've made one trade in the past 2 months.
Nope, they are slow, are you planning to use them as I thought you had a good direct access broker?
Well thing is most of those other countries you do not need a car as much as here.
Yeah, might be a risky short. GEOI actually has decent fundmanetals compared to some of the other low floaters such as ABLE and DSTI.
how are its IBD ratings?
They seem to put an article like this anytime there is a decent rally
Also its mostly people just scalping these low floaters with no news or anything, there's usually no reason for them to hold their gains for more than a day.
Yep thats what i don't like about naz stocks move so fast although fast fills
Yep usually, although some stocks its better to hold than scalp.
What broker did you use to short it?
weeee SIRI tank
Bought some SIRI puts
My DYTK nice although stinkin partial fill only gave me 800 shares out of 10000 nice breakfast money for tomorrow i guess...
I'm gapping it too hope its like BOOM or the other low floaters hehe.
BOOM looks like nice gapper
Is there an archive of EVO's show?
With freetrade or ameritrade you can daytrade all you want with your cash as long as you don't use your margin.
Holding SWIR & CRDM long for tomorrow. SWIR down 24% in 2 days, CRDM nice volume momo.
SWIR to about 19 or 20
CRDM to about .50
Nice...thinking about doing some options also--what options are you going to trade--just basics like calls or puts or more advanced?
Some people can, people with good brokers(i.e. not web-based brokers)
Is that right, sometimes island quotes are wrong unless bad news is gonna be released tomorrow
Net short-term gain taxed at regular rates. This article has some useful info:

I'm sure he(or she) likes having the advantage of being able to short pinks--don't think many people in the US know how too
I guess they didn't realize many biotechs going up because of OSIP's good earnings?
Ha, 24/7 trading, could have been a reality in bubble time, not even that much AH trading these days.
Holding LWAY overnight, down a lot, should bounce back up.
Holding WTSLA overnight, down -50% in a week, should be a nice bounce
BCSI didn't release earnings--it was only an earnings warning
Futures tanking again because of terror alerts--seems like this happens every month these days...
Are you holding AIRT overnight?
You mean work as in trading or regular job?
I hope you don't put too much of your money in buying and holding these otc bbs--its pretty much a gamble.
Well no wonder you dislike charts. Investors don't need charts, daytraders do--thats why hack and other active traders are using them.
Why would you want to hold otc bb pennies? That is extremely risky--they are on that exchange for a reason. If you can't trade often, better to just stick to naz or listed stocks as they are "real" companies for the most part.
Well many direct access brokers charge around $10--mb trading, rushtrade, cybertrader, speedtrader--although some of these have extra fees for penny stocks. However, I actually use freetrade myself as i like the commisions and don't really care for customer support.
