Afternoon YAK! Cold here in TX too.

IMO the middle class (me) had a good hand in our destruction as well. Growing up my parents were content with a house that was 1x their annual income and 1 car and we only went out to eat a few times a year. Fast forward...... for the past 15-20 years we have moved up to houses that are 3x our annual income, 2 cars and cars for the kids when they turn 16 and we eat out 3-4 times per week. Seems we spent ourselves out of the middle class while we were trying to keep up with the upper class. Then when things got a little rocky we had nothing to fall back on.

Way to go Johnny! I'm doing the Whiterock marathon next month and just finished the Toyota US Open Triathlon a few weeks ago. First for both and really getting hooked on this stuff. If the marathon goes well I'm going to do a 70.3 ironman next year and then hopefully the full 140 tri after that.

Funny thing is now it's as one gets older it's less vomiting and more about age.

In my 20s I could drink way too much, stumble, vomit, stumble, vomit and the little guy down stairs is still looking at me.

In my 40s I can still drink as much, no vomit but the little guy down stairs is looking at the floor. LOL

Yea,,,, I watch all these 7 day forecasts and 5% of them are accurate. How can they even try and predict the next 6 months. Again, sometimes they even have the current conditions wrong so HELLO! Go outside before you do the weather! LOL

Oh man... that really SUCKs! Reminds me of the time I had a penny stock bought at .001 back in 1999. Held on to it for over a year and a half then the 2001 run up happened and it went to $4. I had sold 15 days earlier. Lost 250k in profits on that one.
