Hi Mike’
Thanks, it’s been a crazy year. I moved from NC to Fl and loving it .
I haven’t been very active in stocks, just have everything in some nice dividend paying stuff.
I have recently jumped in to some alt coin crypto, crazy stuff there lol.
Fawad has accomplished so much with AMPG. Hope you are doing well!
Heh, I did just fine with AMPG. Don’t currently hold any shares but still keep up with the company.
I bought IEC (IECE then) at .44 and sold somewhere around $2. Should had held some and forgot about them heh.
GL to ya tomorrow!
I wish you guys would stop posting about IEC lol.
I owned this way back in the day at .44!

Yes, nice day on GPMT. NRZ looking strong today as well.
Thought GPMT would jump back over $10 with that news. Still holding a chunk along with NRZ which has done well!
I’m sticking with and continue building a high yield portfolio because I’m out of work and like the supplemental income.
Currently holding these that make up a nice yield...

GPMT what a nice run! Letting some go here at $8.70 but keeping about half my position.
NROM back down to .35 where I’ve been buying today.
There’s been a lot of shares available here so a bit worrisome going into earnings today.
Nice day for GPMT. Luckily I picked up more last week in a the $5.50s!
Nice day for NRZ, I made a quick trade on this but maybe should of held.
Been adding GPMT here around $6.15.
Not sure if GPMT will reinstate the divy in Q3 or wait til Q4 but should make a nice bounce when it happens.
Currently at roughly .40 in dividends that need to be paid for the first half of 2020.
CEO remarks from Q2 CC....
“As of June 30, we had over $25 million in undistributed taxable income. Our long-term goal is to provide our investors with an attractive dividend income stream. We will continue to monitor taxable income and work with our Board of Directors to take any necessary measures to ensure that we meet minimum distribution requirements to maintain our REIT status, which as a reminder, is an annual test.”
Your welcome, I’m happy with QYLD as I’ve kept a large chunk in it and loving those monthly dividends.
Sold NRZ and FHN today for nice gains. Not confident this next relief package is going to pass very smoothly so being more defensive here.
ARI - Thanks, I’ll check it out
FHN
Thanks, that probably explains the move up..
FHN moving up after hours from $9.29 to $9.70. Don’t see anything out but pretty good move
GPMT/Commercial mReits.. Improvement in mortgage payments continue.

Jul. 17, 2020 6:30 AM ETGlobeNewswireFirst Horizon National Corporation (FHN)
Results reflect additional CECL-related reserve build of $93 million, or $0.23 per share driven by COVID-19 impact
Strong fee income, up 31% year over year driven by strength in fixed income
CET1 ratio of 9.3% improved 72 bps from first quarter 2020
Tangible book value per share of $9.99
MEMPHIS, Tenn., July 17, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Horizon National Corp. (NYSE:FHN or “First Horizon”) today reported second quarter net income available to common shareholders (“NIAC”) of $52 million, or $0.17 per share, up from $12 million and $0.04 per share in first quarter 2020. Adjusted NIAC, excluding certain notable items, was $64 million, or $0.20 per share, compared with $17 million and $0.05 per share in first quarter 2020.
“In this quarter of significant pandemic-related and broad-based economic challenges, we delivered solid results as we continued to work diligently to support clients, communities and our associates while prudently managing risk,” said President and Chief Executive Officer Bryan Jordan. “Our second quarter results reflect the benefit of our diversified business model with strong pre-provision net revenue growth led by robust fee income and a modest increase in net interest income.”
Jordan continued, “We completed our merger of equals with IBERIABANK Corporation (IBKC) on July first, creating one of the largest banks in the South. With $83 billion in assets on a combined basis, the organization has significant scale with expanded capabilities and geographic reach that position us well to continue to deliver enhanced value for all our constituents. I believe our strong balance sheet, the diversification of our portfolio, expense management, as well as the experience and commitment of the combined team will deliver significant shareholder value.”
During the quarter, First Horizon secured $2 billion in loans through the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) which provided aid to more than 300,000 employees of 15,000 customers.
20% of the PPP loans supported women- and minority-owned businesses or businesses in low-to-moderate income tracts.
First Horizon entered Phase 2 of reopening on June 4, 2020. Banking centers are open with occupancy limits and in-person appointments aren’t required but recommended.
First Horizon continues to prioritize health and safety and remains focused on executing the business continuity plan and proactive client outreach and communication.
The Company continues to be prudent in its focus on risk management and credit oversight.
The acquisition of 30 branches from Truist Financial Corporation is scheduled to close today, July 17, 2020.
I got laid off 2 weeks ago after 20 years with GE (Aviation). I did get a good severance and continue to get full salary for the remainder of 2020.
Since I’m ok for this year I’m trying to build a strong income generating portfolio for 2021.
So far I’m in NRZ,FHN,GPMT with a large chunk in QYLD..
GPMT - I decided to buy some here at $6.68-$6.69.
Not as cheap as it once was but still only trading around 40% of BV.
NRZ moving up more, now in the $7.60s. Between this and FHN I’m having a great week!
Thoughts on GPMT here well under BV but no word from the company that I see about the divy?
FHN having a nice bounce as well. Was buying this this morning in premarket in the $8.20s now in the $8.70s
NRZ is close to a breakout which could send it flying back above $7 IMO. Let’s see if it can get above $6.87
Got a few more FHN in the $8.20s in premarket. Anyone else picking up some bank stocks?
FHN back in buying range for me. Bought back in at $8.57. Also added to NRZ at $6.67
Not with SPX acting like it wants to test June highs. I am only holding a couple things though.. NRZ and most of my $ in QYLD which is working out well
NRZ bought more here at $6.93 after buying a lot at $6.90 Thursday.
NRZ has had solid support around that level. BV nearing $11
NRZ
I’m buying heavily at $6.90 going into the close.
SPXS - yea I gave up to when the S&P broke above 3086
SPXS - I added at $7.94 as SPX was testing June 25th highs. May bail if SPX breaks 3086
SPXS more at $8.25
Joined you in SPXS at $8.35... why they heck are markets up today?
NRZ - flipped my shares at $7.15
NRZ
Back in at $6.85 and will add if it goes lower. Anyone else starting to buy this back?
Crazy moves in the market..
I’ve been moving more and more into QYLD. I may just sit back and collect dividends unless there’s a huge correction.
NRZ UNM IVZ FHN CADE and GPMT is what I’m stalking but waiting for now.
QYLD
Thanks, that’s what I was thinking. I did just buy a large chunk at $20.81 to sit there for a while...
QYLD Trying to understand why this hasn’t followed NDX this past week with a big move up and of course down big today.
QYLD has basically stayed within a few pennies.
Any idea on this? Maybe because of strike prices of their calls?
Back to 100% cash but in no hurry to buy anything. Probably should have stayed a little short atleast but that’s a hell of a 1 day correction!
Just closed the remainder of my shorts. Dow down 1200 points wow..
