What is the phone number?
Of course! Those words sound familiar.
The Conference Call will be rescheduled once the official determination is received.
It looks like the IDCC conference call is being re-cast.
I have owned IDCC for 16 years (1996). And I was greatly disappointed with what I perceived to be poor spirit and lack of motivation by management to at least hype this stock to the greatest extent(as in the past) during the conference call. It seems Bill and Scott have grown tired of the game. However, they did allow more questions during the call. Overall, I thought the analysts displayed their distaste toward Bill and Scott's responses, but maybe not.
I sold most of my IDCC shares in December 1999 on the way up to the $82 high. That was the greatest move I have made in my life time. It allowed me to give 30 days notice and retire. I have continued to buy and sell over the years but today I feel I have given back enough gains on paper to try a different strategy. I plan to sell my shares and, hopefully, buy them back at a lower share price.
Good luck to all longs and those who are young enough to stay in the game.
dclarke,
I'm a little surprised at your comments concerning glennymo. You do know him very well as a contributor to the board. Therefore, you should respect those contributions when they appear as his opinions and beliefs. He has been a substantial investor in IDCC since the "Great Depression", as you describe, and a board poster/reader through all the very long years. Your comments now equal his as "bitching and moaning".
Ellix, pulling the trigger now could be very satisfying. Then as suggested, buy back and remain happy in the future.
I hope my very long term IDCC friends who have plenty of shares took the opportunity to sell "some" of their shares today. It is very comforting and wise to do so, in my opinion.
I thought so also.
MJP, that's a pretty good hedge. LOL
Jim, I agree that we lost some of the IDCC family today. I wonder if those who had their shares sold for them would have been able to re-purchase shares due to buy and sell restrictions. It is a sad time for some.
You can hope for the best on the MO trade.
I'm sure there won't be any shortage of investigations on this drop. It nearly incapacitated me as I could hardly function when trying to place orders for IDC.
I did get 1000 @ 24.83 but my order for 23.95 did not get filled.
Schwab was practically frozen and the good times only lasted a few seconds.

Nuke, thank you very much.
Does IDCC's "poison pill" still exist or is it to be decided at the annual meeting? I haven't seen anything from IDCC on this issue. Thanks.
chartex, thank you for your detailed mention of IVAN.
vickielee, thanks for mentioning your stock.
squinge, thank you for the useful information. eom
Jim and jjff, thank you for your help.
I recall discussion about some members who had their computer address book contacts captured and offers for Viagra, etc. being sent to all their family/friends. I believe it was picked up on this site. I have that problem now. How can I resolve the issue?
Thank you.
Okay then, thank you. EOM
What's the symbol for Oh Boy?
JimLur, I'll step up. I recall contacting you in an attempt to assist Mickey in getting readmitted to IHub. As you said, you did get him back on board. I'm very sorry you have been placed in a difficult positon as moderator because of his actions which you believe are inappropriate. Consequently, I have tossed(your word)him and I have described in detail why I think he has violated the IHub rules.
nicmar, I'm doing fine and I hope you are also. I'm sorry that you mis-interpreted my post to you. It was intended to support your points. It addressed my concern that Mickey attacked an unsuspecting first time poster who owns IDCC shares for no apparent reason.
I have known Mickey for 15 years and I have respected and admired him in spite of it all. When I was introduced to IDC in 1996 by Mickey, I bought shares and sold most of them in December 1999, gave notice and retired early.
But still, I am not one to support such personal attacks on our IHub friends/posters as Mickey did this morning.
I hope you continue to make a stand on issues that are important to you and IDCC.
Mick
Well, I guarantee Mickey would never seek professional tax advice. He has already decided in his own mind how it will be.
nicmar, you are right. Mickey got up real early to launch this vicious attack on an unsuspecting first time poster and owner of IDCC shares. However, I await his triumphant return and the latest information on his house construction venture and sale, ten for a dollar. IMO
NukeJohn, great post!
Next the paint will start peeling off the walls. LOL
Mickey, when the post is not addressed to you it becomes a personal decision for the potential responder as to whether he/she will share their IDCC investment information. After the two investment share price beatings we have endured in the past few months it seems to me that some may be looking for a little fellowship along the way. MO
They are struggling.
Hello Mickey
My friend, why not be receptive to "The Net" when he displays an interest in another poster's IDCC position and his buys or sells? I know some of us enjoyed reading of your home building project and, of course, wish you the best.
Jerry
Dan, thank you. eom
The font or fonts for the subject of the messages and the message itself have become to small for me to read easily. I have tried to correct the problem with the various font adjustments but the font remains small. Which one will make the adjustment I need?
Thank you for your help.
GE Jim, that's not the way I read it.
The Net, you have made some strong points. I still believe but I have never seen the "engine and transmission". It may be stored in IDCC's main garage.
I think I understand. But what if you leave home to go fishing, you launch your boat and depart but the motor dies with a strong current. Do you step out of the boat and continue fishing without any regard for deep holes? LOL
gatticaa, your hope is my hope. Thanks.
xdx, it is admirable to support BM as he leads this company toward the ever evasive goals of the company. The other side of the coin may suggest that your willingness to wait for the "anticipated increase in your personal wealth" based on IDCC's achievements may be a challenge. The devastating paper loss that many of us took yesterday leaves a deep hole to climb out of over the next few years. We accepted the challenge of following and investing in this speculative stock 10-15 years ago or more. Consequently, we remain dedicated to the fact that risk is still paramount in this stock but worth the risk for the potential gains that seem so distant at this point. Putting aside Nokia, and moving forward the inherent risks seem substantial as the company strives to license and re-new agreements without a settlement/decision from our tormenter. Sir, you sound like a man of character and I hope we all achieve our IDCC dream. I'm not quite sure how we would classify ourselves but let's just use the word, determined. Maybe we are not blind yet.
nessco, I like your humor as part of your rant! LOL
