How can this company even remain in operation? I've been a long on this stock for over 7 years, with hopes that the "patent hype" would pay off one day. When my stock was worth over 4k years ago, is now worth just over 1 dollar, I find it hard to see how this company can even be open? I wish I could end the pain...just go bankrupt so I can claim the loss on my taxes.
I hope you are right...I've been holding this POS for the last 5 years...just hoping to recover from all the freakin RS's and dilution! I need to it get to at least $.70 to recover. GLTA
No problem whatsoever Claw...have a great evening!
Maybe you misunderstood my post. I was not stating that I believe one (R/S) is a possibility now, nor was it ever. I was agreeing with Roadog and his venting of telling people to STOP talking about R/S's. To make it clear... I would also like for people to stop talking about R/S's..
GLTY
One quick technical question please....how many different possible unique codes can a 2D barcode contain? I was never good with all those "n" to the "n'th" power calculations. No particular reason for this question...I'm just curious. Thanks.
I am so excited. After reading this article and viewing the Stanley Morgan presentation, along with so many other articles of the same content, I cannot stop imagining how the mobile internet will unequivocally change the world as we know it. It is unfathomable how our lives and the lives of the generations to come will interact on a global basis and this will all be done with the architecture of the system of which Neomedia is at the core. I am aware that I am possibly suffering from confirmation bias insofar as reading just the articles pertaining to this type of technology, but then again, the writing is on the wall. It is clear however, that the mobile internet and immediate access to information will change everything.
Claw..well said. I can estimate at least 400 hours of researching, and keeping up with this stock this year alone! I don't even want to think about how much I researched in the last 5 years before I found IHUB!
Alrightee...looks like the profit taking is done...looks like a turnaround...strap in, hold on, and keep looking forward!
Amen brotha...here's to Dr Mike! Let's not all forget our messages talking about making a donation to his family's requested charity..I believe it was the Canada Heart and Stroke foundation? Claw...can you verify and repost the info?
Refer to message 78753 by our old friend Dr Myke... Read the entire thread and it's replies. If this facts, or opinions, stated in that message are true, it's going to be an interesting ride!!
..pinch...pinch...nope, it's not a dream my friend! Can't wait to see what the day holds for us!
GLTA
Mirroring the 2 other replies...what does this mean?
Iain..please forgive my email to you a couple of months ago. I sincerely apologize for everything I said in the email and would now like to congratulate you and your team for doing such a great job. It must have been killing you during the conference call to hold your tongue!
Go have that beer...you deserve it!
Nice find 1jk1..EVERYONE should read this interview! Just to cut and paste the part that stood out to me....
Iain: Bena in the past I have been forced to remain silent despite huge deals in the background. I know some of our shareholders were frustrated, but I can speak and I am delighted. The 8K filing will be issued but we are delighted that Scanbuy will be paying up-front fees for past infringements and on top of that we will be getting royalties.
jcg...I read your post and liked it, but I REALLY liked the Ink Blot test thing you have attached to your post! Toooooo funny...and sooooooo true! haha
Screwdriver..good luck to you and your family with the recent news on NEOM!
Gotta love the trading..
Volume = 6 times more than average...
Buys are twice as many as sells...
and all this before 3 pm! This one will get crazy before COB!!
Yet another article on Google...
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,567800,00.html?test=latestnews
I particularly like these two paragraphs...
"Beyond merely organizing information, Google’s ultimate goal is to sell advertising. And to do so, the company is prepared to enter as many markets as possible.
“Google’s ultimate goal is to get as many eyeballs looking at its targeted advertisements as possible," says PCMag.com mobile analyst Sascha Segan. "Billions of those eyeballs are now on mobile phones. If you’re ignoring mobile phones, you’re blind.”
I strongly feel, IMO, that there is no way that Neom cannot be involved with the new internet world!
Please forgive my ignorance, but is this "application" for a patent just that...an "application", and not a final approved patent? I am not educated in the world of patent law, but is it the case where the WIPO would not have even accepted and posted the application unless it is viable? Is this what it means when you see "patent pending" on certain products? I'm just curious how these things work.
Thanks in advance.
Great post. I saw the PR over the news wires, but to see it in an actual SEC filing with details and all the "dressings" just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside!
PR's are one thing, but CONTRACTS are a whole 'nother beast!!
GO NEOM!
WOW! 'nuff said! Have a great weekend and looking forward to the months to come!
Ok..thanks....i was about to get my feelings hurt.
Hope you have a great trading day!
Was that comment directed at me, or at the unknown reasons for the ARGO transaction?
I have absolutely no idea when they bought in. I am an absolutely novice investor. NEOM is the first stock I have ever purchase, but, whewww...have I learned a lot in the past several years reading this board!
This is a totally wild guess...here goes...It could have been that ARGO provided some seed money to NEOM, in the past, and was provided some shares as part of transaction. ARGO needed some cash and sold. That still doesn't explain the low price though. As mentioned before, that was definitely an AON transaction and had to have been prearranged...so that makes it even more confusing. Is ARGO gonna get compensated in some other way for dumping shares for such a low price???? hmmmm
Claw...you're killing me with your hinting and beating around the bush. Ok...what gives? What are your ideas regarding the "no mistake" transaction? Why in the world would someone sell that many shares at the lowest possible price?
I would give anything to be "in the know" either on the Scanbuy, Neomedia, or Neustar side reading these posts by all of us crazies speculating on every possible scenario. Chances are we have discussed, or discovered, what will happen, but you know those guys are sitting in some board room drinking a single malt scotch laughing their A$$es off reading all these posts...because we all know they do! haha
Sooooo...Iain, Mike Z., Jonathan...here's to you all for making us crazy!
Does this have any bearing on the current situation or is it just a random transaction due to normal operations?
Los...that's why I posted the link...for smarter people than myself to see if there can be any of the Asylum's infamous "dot connecting".. lol.
Also, I cannot take credit for finding this information. I am a holder of another stock, VSPC(which, by the way, is doing well today!), and the website was posted on that IHUB message board by someone else.
Interesting datebase here....I have no idea what it means, but maybe some of you smart guys/gals out there can decipher some history out of this website and provide insight on some of the MM bullcr$% that goes on with NEOM....

Your respect and condolences for Dr. Mike are duly noted, but your unwarranted, unnecessary, and blind attack on an unknown poster was out of line, given the circumstances, and more importantly, tasteless. Just ask yourself...what was the point of that post, is it going to make anything better?
Zacked...you may want to do a little DD before making such crude accusations. Also, Screwdriver223's post, in my opinion, has nothing but the most sincerest and honest intentions. Google is a very powerful search engine.
Not to say that Neustar purchasing NEOM is not true...but the confidential treatment order (CTO) you referenced has nothing at all to do with NEOM. You can actually view the two exhibits that the CTO addresses. They are exhibits 10.2.3 and 10.5.1 from the 10-K filed on August 4. 10.2.3 has something to do with a Canadian LNP Consortium and contractor services. The *** parts are deleted from public access and, if you look at the deleted parts, it's just a bunch of prices particular to that contract. 10.5.1, as far as I can tell, was signed by a NOAA government contract officer and also deletes some pricing info for contract work.
You had my heart pounding there for a second until I dug a little deeper.
GLTY,
I am sooooo not as informed and business savvy as some of you guys on here, but today's PR would lead me to believe that Neustar is definitely privy to the language of the pending court actions. I strongly feel that such a concrete PR would not have been made not knowing such information.
Amen on Dr. Mike...I'll bet he's begging the "Big Guy" to throw a couple lightning bolts on Scanbuys headquarters! haha
RIP Dr. Mike.
"Other Deadlines"...does any one know what these "other deadlines" not being affected are?
Yeah...registry? What are you talking about? You have piqued my curiosity!
HawkPilot is definitely in!
My deepest condolences and regrets to Dr Myke's family and friends.
Very well said. You've taken every possible word that could have made your statement perfect....and then made it better.
I totally agree with you insofar as the technology and patent values are incredibly high and almost incalculable.... however, the short term financial woes that Neomedia is experiencing is what has me scared to death. I'm still holding my shares, and I do strongly believe, based on my DD that this patent is strong and worth the risk. However, the lack of information from the company itself has grown some butterflies in my stomach, as of recent.
GLTA !
Is Chartisto looking and laughing right now? I'll be darned...look like he is about to be right after all....Now I'm just waiting for the $1.75!
